Spotting the were, Kia stopped. "Get out of my way, or I'll make you." Kia glared. He probably shouldn't have stopped, but he wanted to give them a chance. Better yet, he wanted to give himself a chance. If he didn't have to... whatever it was he did... he would be better off. The less times he had to do that flash... flash? Why does that seem right? The less times he had to flash, the better himself and Kalia would be. He was ready however, at the slightest indication that either werewolf would say that one word, Kia was going to flash his foot into their mouth. All he waited was for the first part, and he would do it. No hesitation.

Kalia braced herself she knew what was coming and she refused to be a hinderance more then she already was.Ereth caught the look in Kia's eye and hesitated even more, he would die before he would hurt Kalia, and it seemed this guy felt the same. And more then that it seems Kalia was willing to fight to protect him, something she had never worried about with Ereth."You can't fight with that dead weight in your arms..." Garreth said his smile sharp, "L-" he began.

Kia flashed stepped to the werewolf, his foot coming in. He was nothing but a blur to either of them, as he didn't hold anything back on the blow. As he hit, a resounding crack could be heard from his foot and ankle, as the force of the blow broke the bones. Kia gasped in pain, but used his blow to jump over the were. He landed on his good foot, but lost his balance and teetered onto his bad foot. His vision swam for a moment, as the pain shot through his leg. Soon, he found himself holding himself off the floor, as he fell forwards. He rested on his knees, as he healed. At first, he foot was deformed and hung at an odd angle, but it quickly realigned itself. The whole process was painful to Kia, but he just gritted his teeth and grunted. As soon as it was righted, he was running at an odd limp. Pain shooting through his foot as he took each step on it, but it was quickly lessening. He wasn't getting very far though with his leg the way it was.

Kalia winced as he fell more for the pain she knew he would feel from it then any real discomfort of her own. She wished she could ask him to stop but she knew that wasn't an option, so she kept giving him quiet directions whispering in his ear so her voice would not carry on the wind. Finally they slowed their pace at the edges of the next town, a rougher area then Portsmouth, and a little bit bigger of a city.

It wasn't long till Kia's foot stop hurting as much as it use to. He was still running with a bad limp, but he had to press on. Apparently they had tried to block the exit, but Kia managed to take down the large were and leave before anyone could stop them. Looking both ways at the street that they came out on, Kia decided to 'flash' to the nearest ally between buildings. Within moments, they had let the small town behind, and Kia had managed to run all the way to a rougher, yet close by city. It was one of those cities that seemed to merge with the town next to it, so it just appeared that the buildings got bigger. It wasn't till Kia tripped from exhaustion did he stop running. He didn't know where they where anymore. "I'm... I can't.." Kia was breathing heavy, but wasn't pale... yet. "Tired." Kia knelt, placing Kalia in his lap as he sat on the hard ground of the sidewalk.

Kalia refused to cry but with her eyes as bright as they were she couldn't look Kia in the eye. She unbuttoned the top few buttons on her dress to pull the collar away from her neck, "Marks on my neck will be easier to hide then if I tap my wrists again..." she said her voice soft.

"Not that..." Kia huffed. He slid her off his lap, carefully and slowly. He didn't want her to be hurt. "My ankle kills!" He silently screamed. His shoe was actually riped from when he kicked, as a seam let go. His ankle was twice its normal size as well. "I can't run any farther." Kia stated. His ankle looked to be a mess right now, yet they couldn't stay here for long. "What kind of resources does the council have?" Kia asked, between gritted teeth as he fought the new pain of his ankle. The adrenaline kept the pain down, and even though it was healing, it still hurt.

Kalia gave him a look, "If not now then soon... you need to heal..." she sighed, "Nothing that can be mobilized before tomorrow morning... I was the closest of their speed force... and very few others can be spared from their tasks... they have to make sure the entire globe is taken care of... So we have a day maybe more of breathing room before they can get a force worth worrying about together..." She smiled darkly, "and even then... I was the one no one wanted to practice with... I'll likely be the one no one wants to hunt..."

Kia groaned. "They might not want to take you on in physical combat, but they know your weakness." He didn't dare say it, but he thought it. She wasn't going to be much help in combat with her weakness known. He was have to fight. Her knowledge of things would help him though, and just being there was even more of a help. Kia was certain he would have never made it this far without her. If she wasn't here, he would have fought that brute in the council chamber. He would probably have lost while he was at it too. "We need food, and shelter." Kia then thought of what he said, "but I don't need THAT kind of food." Kia closed his eyes when he said that, trying to blot out the mental image that ran through his head. The pain in his ankle was unbearable. "Either way, I think we need to move on. Find someplace. Can you move?" Kia was concerned for her, even now. He couldn't move anymore. Walking on his ankle not only slowed the healing process, but just made it worse. It was throbbing to badly, it seemed to make Kalia's withering on the floor seem mild in comparison, even if she did go through more pain.

Kalia shook her head, "No more people then who already knew... Ereth already knew as did all the members of the Council..." she said her voice devoid of emotion. She started to rebutton her dress but saw the opportunity such an appearance gave her and stopped. She rose to her feet, not exactly with her usual grace but without too much pain, "I'm fine..." she said kneeling to help him up. She looped his arm over her shoulder and her arm around his waist, "Let's go see if we can find some place to stay first..." she said.

Kia took her hand up, avoiding placing any pressure on his injured foot. "What a capital idea." Kia said with a smirk. "Where did that come from?" He was confused again. He had no idea what he just said. "Good idea. Lets go from some sleep." It might have only been mid day by now, but Kia was ready for a little hibernation. "You think they might give us the honey moon suit?" He said jokingly, considering their age and what most kids renting a hotel would be doing without their parents around...

Kalia caught the humor and gave him a wry smile, "So long as it has hot water, and a bed with big fluffy pillows I don't care what they call it..." she said as they headed to a hotel.
Kalia checked them in and helped Kia to the elevator before leaning back against the wall with a sigh.

Kia leaned against the wall, trying to act as though nothing was wrong while she set up the arrangements for their room. He tried to make the aid she was giving him look more like a hug, which he wanted to give her anyway. However, when she leaned back against the wall of the elevator, Kia got concerned again. "Are you alright?" He spun around to look at her, which ended up being a mistake. Placing all his weight on his foot sent him right to the ground. With a grumble and a few choice words, Kia reached to his ankle. Was it just him, or had it grown bigger? They might have to cut his shoe off to free his foot.

"Better then you..." she said her voice a touch sad as she helped him back up and stood so he could put most of his weight on her. They hobbled down the thankfully empty halls to their room and Kalia unlocked the door before helping him through to sit on the bed, "Why won't you accept a gift freely given?" she asked quietly, "you're hurt and I can help..." she said voicing one of her worries while so many other swirled around in her head. Is there something wrong with my blood... with me? she found herself wondering, but that was more a worry caused by stress, too much in too little of a time...

Kia didn't understand her. "I'm fine. I'll heal in a bit. Just hurts right now is all." Kia tried to stay strong her Kalia, but he was ready to break. "Why did..." He started, but stopped himself. His eyes felt wet, and he didn't want to let he see him cry. He was tough! He could handle this! But thoughts still came to him. About Yojan, his mother... school. He could never have all that back. "We can't leave here." Kia stated, out of the blue. There was something he had to do first, for who know what the council would tell his family. Probably the worst situation possible. He didn't want them to worry, but he didn't want them to be sad either. He had to visit them one more time!
