one brother can grow anything anywhere while the other can make earth walls. this had cough Kray's attention. he would have to take it slowly if he wanted the 2 brothers on his teem but it would be worth the wait.
suddenly a yell came from one of the men, "what is this!!! water! need water!!!" he grabbed the milk cup and jugged it down then did the same to 3 cups before finally relaxing and taking deep breaths. "why...why is it...so spicy?" he asked between gasps. the others looked at the food now unwilling to eat any of it. "whats all the noise?" Stern asked as he came into the room. "food spicy." was all Flint could manage to say. "you baby. it can't be that bad." Stern took 2 plates from the table. "i'll be taking one to Balon." he said as he put a spoon full in his own mouth. he suddenly stopped. for a moment he didn't move. then, after almost dropping both plates he managed to set them on the table and procceded to jug down as much milk as he could. the room was quiet and everyone looked at their own plate unwilling to eat. "i would like to see the captain's reaction to this." one of them whispered and everyone looked over at Kray to find his plate empty. "thank you for the food." Kray said as he stood up and left.

GUrrin chuckled a bit at the reactions to his curry. "Well, we can grow basically anything, including peppers. I was taught to always use peppers when they're fresh and at their spiciest. Also, I wouldn;t try to surprise Balon with it, he seems to be in a bad mood." Mellit refilled all of the consumed water and milk, then walked over to a cabinet, taking out bandages and morphine as the men walked upstairs. Once they were all upstairs, Gurrin went outside and came back in with a stretcher. They stood out of they way to the door, showing no emotion.

Vix flinched slightly. "Actually," she began, "that's why I was coming to look for you. Mathias..." She hesitated, and then just decided to get it out. "Lexi is missing. She left sometime in the past few hours and I don't know where she went or who she's with."
With the slightest shake of her head, she admitted, "Alex and I need help."

Aura stepped inside and turned to her brother. "Could they sense you?" she asked abruptly. "I mean, was it maybe the storm?" Or was it just me? Just me and the voice?

Alexa nodded briefly, too occupied with the bandaging she had just discovered in Kirra's bag. "This looks good. Clean. It'll do." Listening to Kirra with half an ear, she nodded again more sharply. "Okay. Still, shoulder first." That said, she turned to address the shoulder wound.

((@SSD: YEA!! I wasn't gonna say nothing, but that'd be a crazy little twist! I thought the same thing when you knocked on his door. I don't know, maybe it's cause they're the 'only kids' in the area combined with Aura shooting down every guy her dad sets her up with has driven her to like her brother. Hehe.))
Mathias's smirk at seeing them quickly turned to a more serious scowl. "Missing.. So you three are out looking for her. And you came to us to find her, I'm guessing." Mathias pretended to think about it for a couple seconds. "Of course we'll help you, nothing would get in the way of that, Vix. But we'll have to head back to my house, cause if I do something else without Engela's okay, I'm gonna be feeding off rats for the next few weeks." He walks with them towards his house.
Einon shrugged and picked up a towel, wiping his forehead. "I don't know. Never asked. I heard and felt strange things coming from you, sis. It was enough to wake me up even. I know you're lying to mom and dad though. Something is up with you sis." Einon walks over and dispells all the shadow marks he had made then sat down on the edge of his bed. "Wanna talk about it Aura?"

Naomi remained silent as she listened to the small conversation, feeling a little strange when Mathias was sniffing her. She shrugged as they started walking and smiled over to Alex.

The little girl smiled and put her chainsaw across her shoulder with a strap that was attached to it,she stood up and took her mask off throwing in the trash can next to her. "So mister whats-" She said then suddenly there was a great wind and it blew some chimes which played a small memory if you listened right. "Oh my mistress calls...bye mister!!" She said giggling as she started to run towards a large shadow.

Michael nodded and turned around, walking back to his house. He unlocked the front door and slipped inside, before relocking it and walking upstairs to his room.

Also, LOL. Engela has Mathias whipped. God, that whole family is crazy.))
Vix smiled faintly. "That would be great," she said simply, walking alongside him. She wouldn't mind seeing Engela again - although she'd heard that the Angel had had twins, as well, she'd never seen them. Going to the house would thus kill two birds with one stone, or so she hoped - find Alexa, and dispel the guilt about the after-child duty visit she'd never found time to pay. Also, there was just seeing Engela, who she'd ended up growing quite close to.

Aura could sometimes lie to her father. She could rarely lie to her mother.
She had never yet gotten away with lying to her brother. So instead of insulting them both by attempting to, she just shrugged, leaning back against the wall. "Not really," she said. "I'm working on it, though, don't worry."

The little girl skipped to the shadow and appeared very very far away..not even in this world..and in a small clearing of dead flowers. She quickly bowed as she saw a cloaked figure approach her. "You done well..." It said in a deep voice and she just was silent afraid really. "Thank you,mistress." She said not getting up as the cloaked figure sat near her and picked some of the flowers. "My dear..I have a job. My old friends are scattered far and wide. The time we been apart has been long and I wonder if they even live right now..seek them out and tell me what they been up to,make sure they know nothing though for now is not the time for me to come out..." The cloaked figure said and the girl smiled. "Yes,mistress" She said disappearing and the cloaked figure just sat.

((OOC: Ixnay away!!! Heck yea Mathias is whipped by Engela. He'll face down hundreds of soldiers and give into his basic instincts, but he aint crossing Engela. NO way, NO how.))
Mathias spoke softly to Vix. "So, who's the girl?" He nodded back, glancing just in time to note the smile exchange between Alex and the girl. At least one of the kids was trying to find a member of the opposite sex. Aura and Einon always hung out with each other or Engela or me. Then again, living away from the towns, near the woods tended to isolate one's family. Oh well. While Mathias waited for an answer to his question, his eyes caught the faintest of movements in the distance, almost like a while of white moving over the hills.
Artemis was on his ice board, going as fast as he could. He had started in the direction Leon had pointed him, but something started pulling him a different direction. Following his instincts, he decided to find the 'source' of the call, unaware it was the same direction Alexa and Kirra had taken.
Einon smirked. He knew she couldn't lie to him. Dad was one thing, he would usually find out when either of them lied by one of his meditation sessions. Mom though, she was almost impossible to be fooled by Aura. Einon always thought it was due to them sharing their mental and power bond. But there was no lies between him and his sister. Even if they tried, the other would bust them immediately. That tended to happen when you grow up with the other person. Hearing his sister say she was working on it troubled him, but he didn't wanna push an answer from her. So he got up, walked over and hugged her. "I'm not buying that, but I'll trust you. Let me know if you need help ever, ok?"

Alexa bandaged the wound quickly and efficiently, calling on memories of stories her mother had told her. Tight, but not tight enough to cut off blood flow, she thought. "There," she said at last, stepping back. "How's that?"

"Oh, Naomi?" asked Vix just as softly. "Well, you remember the little firebug - I'm sure Leon would have mentioned her. That's her. She's trying to get better, and just ended up tagging along." She smiled faintly and shook her head. "You know how these things happen."

Aura grinned up at her brother. "I'm hurt," she said lazily. "One would think you were trying to convince yourself about trusting me, Einon." Just as abruptly dropping the act, she shrugged. "Honestly, though, I'm working on getting everything under control. I swear, it's never going to happen again." A sort of cool determination laced her voice. "Ever."
She smiled a little when he made his offer. "I'll think about it," she said. "If I need help, you'll be the fir-- second to know," she amended. "Mother will probably know before I do." With a rueful little smile, she shook her head. "Do you ever wonder what it would be like to live with parents who don't know more about us than we do?"

((ooooo time to make this interesting!! ding dong haha thanks i just thought of it when you guys were talking about Engela having Mathias whipped!)) Maverick arrived at the hometown of the group many of whom had now left and he new there was a small military group here that had some nice training he decided to try and take it over he ordered a surrender of the town immediatly
Leon heard this and sighed "she's gunna be mad...well maybe if i just lead them from the back and just give commands" Leon picked up his blade hoping his wife's...'sense' wouldn't kick in she seemed to always know when he wasn't doing what he was supposed to
Alex looked at Mathias and wondered what was being discussed he smiled back at Naomi and waved flirticiously

As she spoke to Mathias, Vix twitched slightly all of a sudden. "Leon," she muttered. "Thinks I can't tell, doesn't he?"
She sighed and rested a hand on the hilt of her blade. "It looks like Alex and I may have to split up," she said. "Alex? Would you rather continue looking for your sister or go back and help your father? Something's wrong. I know it."
The magic Siobhan had left her with was long gone, but it seemed to have permanently altered her senses somehow, mostly in regards to Leon. This was, it seemed, more of the same.
