Sheo let go of the blade with one hand and reached down to pluck the red light saber from the hand. "Just to--you know--keep a certain pirate from stealing this," was her 'excuse' to Jad. Yes, Sheo was greedy....

Kate decided that she definitely liked Jad. One hundred-and-ten per cent. He fancied destruction, chaos, AND he was sexist. It was like... the perfect guy. Yes, Sheo's logic and reasoning was a bit simple and somewhat base, but she never claimed to be perfect.
"This light saber is red," Sheo said, "it's like Christmas lights," she intoned, using a mock 'girly' tone.

"If you took it from my armory, which I did NOT say you could, I will have to rend you asunder, good sir." Jad said with a glare at the pirate, "Did you or did you not take it from my armory?"
(Kirra was killed, and a body was in the forest, and Jad was giving Sheo a sword, but the pirates tagging along had the list, and there was talking.)

((Ah, so I missed a bit, but not a huge amount. xd ))
Meanwhile, Vexis STILL hadn't found her way back inside the mansion (because she is stupid and did not notice the door any of the three times she passed it), and now it seemed like a lot of crap was going on without her.
"Jeez, this is impossible! Where's the freaking door!?!" Vexis complained, even though it was her fault in the first place that she was not back inside yet. 'I can't just phase through these walls, either...Grand Admiral Jackass probably has that special metal that I can't get through...'
A grey mist started to gather behind Vexis, slowly making it's form into that of Nomiko. The older Synith held a blade in her hand, ready to kill within a moments notice. Nomiko was so silent as she re-solidified...almost like a ghost come back to life on it's own. She waited for a moment, just standing in silence, trying to listen for any indication of Vexis' exact location. The gentle breeze sounded so sharp to her, every last howl could be heard. Nomiko suddenly jerked forward a bit as she heard the crushing of grass being stepped on, and now she knew where her prey was.
Nomiko launched herself towards Vexis, slashing hard with her short sword. A yelp of pain sounded out in front of her, presumably from Vexis. Nomiko stabbed in that direction again -but only hit empty air this time.
The blind Synith whipped around again, listening closely once more for a sign; a footstep, breathing, or even an active heartbeat. But she heard nothing, maybe Vexis was already dead? Maybe she just mistified and appeared elsewhere?

A gun poked into Nomiko's back, and a mechanical voice warned, "No fighting on the mansion grounds." The machine hadn't sneaked up on her, she had materialized near a standing guard.
