“Noooo!” Mike screamed as his body crouched, ready to pounce on Ashe. Suddenly, his head swiveled and faced Shiango, the strongest demon the Harbinger or Mike had ever seen. Till that point, Mike had a solid grasp on his body, able to hold it back in extreme situations. When he noticed the Harbinger’s attention had turned towards Shiango, Mike released his slight control, allowing the Harbinger to go all out on the vile demon. The blood the Harbinger smelled was appealing to both the demon side and mortal side Mike had in his body. To the demon, it was a source to drain power. To Mike, it was a sign that the monstrosity was destroyable. If he wouldn’t die like a mortal, he could be chopped into fine pieces at the hands of the Harbinger. And by the deranged smile on his face, that was the plan already.
In a quick snap the Harbinger leapt right at Shiango. The demon wasn’t as fast, but the Harbinger was reckless. In the air were six slash marks from the hands of the Harbinger slicing the air. If Shiango had been in the cross section, he would have been disemboweled without a second strike. The Harbinger landed hard and leapt again, this time with his arms fully extended, his wings sailing out and around to engulf the demon, a bone chilling roar coming from his throat. Again, he missed, and instead sailed through a stone pillar. Now the Harbinger’s flames were hot with rage and fury.
Mike was beginning to realize that if the Harbinger got hold of a demon as powerful as Shiango, there’d be no stopping him. Even worse was the fact that Mike could be locked out of his own body, a prisoner left to witness the gruesome horror the demon would cause with his own hands. Mike had to regain control soon. Shiango was quick to dodge, but the Harbinger wasn’t a fool. One good feint and Shiango would feel the claws of the demon dig into his torso.
A memory flashed in Mike’s mind. It was his death. He saw a demon standing in the wake of flames, laughing at him. He couldn’t see his face, but the voice sounded familiar. Something was unlocking his memories, the last lock on the chain of memories Mike had lost. He was suddenly conflicted: Stop the Harbinger, or gain the memories he quested so long for.

Nightwind-Dragon ((Whatever happened to Flint??? O well)) [O fvcking shite. I saw this in the RP list, and I'm like "Oh, ********." I forgot all about it one day with writer's block, and accidentally deleted my bookmark. It was fun, but I won't jump back in. It'd be kinda awkward. Good luck with it, though.]

((I know you asked to take over Shiango while you fight, but if you don't mind I'll just have him do a few things that I think will add to add to the fight.))
Shiango cursed. The Harbinger was stronger, faster than he had expected. Plus they where fighting in an enclosed place. He dodged out of the Harbinger's last attack and started for the cave entrance. Once in the open he could move about more freely.
~
Ashe had herself pressed to the wall. She was grateful that the Harbinger had his sights on Shiango...but she couldn't move out of the cave because the fighters where in her way. She didn't want to move either, she didn't want to bring the Harbinger's attention to herself.

The Harbinger’s head whipped towards Shiango who had made a mad dash out of the cavern. As his claws tore two large holes in the ground he let out another roar, this one much louder then the lasts due to his rage. Several tiny bits of the cavern’s ceiling fell from all around the room, and as he went to pursue he stopped cold. He smelled something, his senses in tune for battle. He could hear a gentle rhythm of a speeding heart. As his head slowly spun around, he caught site of the female that had been in the room before he fought the demon.
Mike’s soul froze. “God Almighty…no…”
He could tell right away she was strong. Her aura was strong as well. She had spirit and spunk. She was rather good looking, and added bonus for a demon. As he turned and slowly started to approach her Mike could see the demon’s sickening thoughts. He had to gain control again, but he had let his grip go. He wasn’t even able to deter the demon. He struggled, grabbing onto the strings that controlled his body and tried to tug them away from the Harbinger. He felt like he was on fire and melting at the same time. The pain was great, but he had to keep trying. A few for feet and it would be too late. The Harbinger began to crouch when Mike threw all his strength into it.
“NOOOOOOO!” His hands glowed white and everything around him faded away.
The Harbinger was close to his target. A demon crossed with a dragon would produce one of the most feared beasts from the Inferno, a Hell Wyvern. A sickening smile crawled across his face. The mortal inside was too feeble to gain control. Suddenly there was a deep pain all over, causing the demon to fall to his knees, roaring in pain. The human was gaining control! He leapt forward and drove his fists into the wall next to the dragon girl’s arms. As he went to roar in her face, the cry slowly turned into the scream Mike had shouted as the demon burst into flames, turning the Harbinger back into Nero Angelo.
“A-…Ashe…are you al-…right…” Mike collapsed on the ground. The Harbinger expended all his energy. Mike’s wings wrapped around him, keeping him warm as he slipped in and out of consciousness. He didn’t know how he regained control. The light he felt was warm. Was that the true form of his soul?

Shiango looked back, the Harbinger wasn't fallowing. 'Ah...So he's remembered the Dragon.' He stood, waiting to see what the Harbinger was going to do. What he expected was screams, blood, and a dead Dragon. What he got was a scream, but not the Dragons. 's**t. The Nero Angelo took over.' He scowled and opened a portal back to his castle. He would have to think of another way of killing those two. "Damn thorns in my side."
~
Ashe used her wind to blow the rocks away from her, hoping to slip past the Harbinger as he chased after Shiango. Instead he turned towards her and smiled wickedly. 's**t,' she thought, guessing at his intentions. 'Great, he goes from fighting to wanting to mate.' As he started to crouch she moved to duck out of the way. What she didn't expect was him bursting into flames and hearing Mike call out to her.
She stood watching the figure laying in front of her, wrapped in his wings, not fulling processing the info coming to her. One thing she understood though was that the wind around Mike was back to normal. She took her true form and lay next to Mike, laying one of her own large wings over him. "I'm ok. Just rest."

Mike began to slip back and forth between past and present. One moment he was face to face with Nero and the Harbinger. The next he saw his father raising an oak blade to him to spar. He saw Ashe's white scales and then hundreds of white roses from the day he was reborn. He saw himself being corrupted with the darkness of Hell, and then the purest light wrap around him. 'What does this mean?' he wondered as regained consiousness.
Mike looked forward, remembering that Shiango was still alive. He couldn't rest till he was dead. Mike stood up and watched a portal begin to close. He through out his own dark energy and grappled the portal, pouring his energy into it to hold it open.
"Go...go and kill him. I cant hold it open much longer." Mike was underexaggerating. He had little energy left, and to hold such a powerful portal open was draining what remained of his power. He felt like the very essense of him was being drained out of him. They had to move. The final battle was upon them.

Ashe eyed the portal and growled. "No. You rest. I'm not having you fight Shiango in the condition your in." She picked Mike up gently with her tail and placed him on her back where he couldn't slip off. "Besides, if he's waited this long for you, then I'm going to bet everything he's going to try and get stronger before we fight him again." She got up and slowly made her way towards the center of the mountain range. To where her family lived.
She made it by nightfall, landing gently at the entrance to the cave. The two guards took their elven forms and helped lift Mike down. "He's a demon, my Lady. Why do you help him?" Ashe too took her elven form and looked at them coldly. "Because he's the one who will save this world." The guards backed off and she carried Mike to her personal room. 'Thank the gods that I'm a Dragon,' she thought with a smile. 'Else he would be too heavy for me alone.' He still was, but she could make it.
Once in her room she lay him down on the pelts she used as a bed. "There. I'll go see if I can get some food for you." She headed out and ran into her father. "Ashe...Why did you bring that abomination into our home? Even all the way here we could sense the evil that came from him and yet you still show him kindness. He's a demon, all they know is death and destruction." "Father, I still sense good in him. Weak as it is, it's still there." She looked hard into his eyes, "Besides, he's the only one that can kill the one we're after. I can't leave him, not after all we've been through." Adrock bristled at Ashe's retort and smacked her across the face. "Never, never have I had a child speak so disrespectfully to me as you have. You two may stay the night, since you are already here. But mark my words, as soon as you leave in the morning, you two are never to return to these mountains again. Understood?" Ashe stood rigid, eyes glaring, fists balled, "Understood." Adrock turned and left, Ashe ran to get the food and hurried back to Mike.

Mike had expended all his energy and passed out. Even the bumpy ride on Ashe's back didn't cause him to stir. The whole time he was unconsious he was fighting the Harbinger inside him, face to face with his own fear. He could see his thoughts, and with Ashe nearby they weren't pretty. Finally Mike snapped his eyes open. He looked at his left hand, still seeing it's golden plated claw. He gently scratched his face to make sure he was awake and then listened all around him. He heard two voices arguing with eachother. One of them was Ashe, and from what he could tell he wasn't wanted in her home.
Mike used his wings for leverage to stand up. His mind was racing from both exhaustion and anger. Wherever he went he was cast aside because of what he was on the outside. Sure he was a demon on the inside, but he fought so hard to keep it in check. His anger was growing, and he could feel the Harbinger clawing at his mind. That's when he heard a smacking sound. There was a snap inside Mike's mortal soul, and he noticed black flames crawling around him. He thought hard and managed to suppress the Harbinger. Ashe was strong, she could take it. But to know she had been hurt right infront of him was an atrocious thought. He staggered forward, holding his hurt side, making his way out of the dragon's home. He was unwanted, and had bigger worries. Shiango was so close, he had to die.
Mike's foot caught a loose rock and fell to his hands and knees panting. He was so weak, but could deliver one last blow. He had to avenge his family and friends.

Ashe had reached her room to find it empty. 's**t, don't tell me he's gone to fight. In his state it'll kill him.' She saw the blood trail and followed it. She came across Mike outside on his hands and knees. "If you keep going Shiango will just kill you before you make your move," she said softly. She walked up to him and lifted him up, wrapping his golden hand over her shoulder and her arm around his waist supporting him. "Come one. Even if your not welcome, you've been given permission to stay. Even if it is just for the night." She started back for the cave.

"You dont understand," Mike said as his eyes fell to the floor, "he may be a demon that could destroy the world but so am I. I'm losing control and when his dark energy is released I could lose control and..." Mike couldn't finish his thought. It make him feel more sick than he already did. With the way the Harbinger thought and felt, he had no doubt in his mind that the planet would be bathed with blood.
"Besides, if he kills me, that will be one less demon that needs to be destroyed." It was a dark fact that Mike had come to terms with fifty years before. A demon was just something to be slain or slain by. At least he thought he could do some good before he let himself be killed.

"Please Mike..." Ashe was going to try and get him to at least try to rest, but she saw his face and didn't continue the sentence. She sighed and turned them around. "Fine, but one the condition you let me take care of the small fry. Just worry about Shiango." She headed for a clearing where Mike could call forth a door. She just hoped that she wasn't walking him to his grave.

((Sorry, but I couldn't think of anything else))
As Mike limped forward he felt the world spinning. His feet became giant weights, along with his arms. Everything was spinning all around him, almost as if he were falling from flight. He rose his hand to his face and managed to say Ashe's name before going completely limp. He was unconsious, locked in his mind with the demon he shared a body with.
