 Evangeline crashed into the wall, bouncing off it. She fell to the floor, and picked herself up again, running back over to Izona, and plucking her pistols back off the tiles. She kicked out, trying to force Izona away from Laulella, more gunshots ringing out as she fire bullet after bullet at the demon.

'Raven?' Aizel disbelievingly spluttered; he honestly thought he would never see anyone from G CORP again. 'How did you -? I mean...'
His voice tailed off, as his orange eyes stared at the ghost, bewildered.

'You again!' the boss snarled, upon spotting Evangeline.'Uh -- sir?' Midian tentatively asked. 'I think our bigger priority is Experiment Izona!''Shut up,' he hissed, running forth to the loose specimen, withdrawing a heavy duty gun from the confines of his jacket.
He knocked Evangeline away, giving Midian a nod. She took out a taser, and lunged at Evangeline.

I see all, I know all, what can I say? What I don't see, however, is what I failed to pay attention to. How is it you came to be trapped here?

'I guess that's how you can actually recognise me, if you see and know all,' Aizel replied, lifting his head up to cast a look down at his changed form. 'MK stuck me in here. I don't know if you saw that woman who just left, but she found me, locked me up in this room.'

Evangeline swerved out of the way of the taser, aiming a shot at Midian, and shot a glance at the boss, as he tried to incapacitate Izona.

Yes, it seems that your form has been 'locked'? It's a very dangerous thing, I can tell you that much. Probably not best that you stay like this much longer.

'That b***h...injected me with something. She hauled me into their weird "training arena", and when I got angry enough, she came rushing out of nowhere, jabbed me with a syringe, and I've remained like this ever since,' Aizel explained. 'Electrothanasia said something about enhancing this form...'

The bullets did very little damage to the beast, who leapt at the boss. He pressed himself up against the walls, Izona flying past him, and slipped a control panel out of his jacket, flicking a switch, and catching her in an energy net.
The shot that Evangeline fired at Midian caught her directly in the shoulder; she cried out loud, clutching the wound with one hand, the other still grasping the taser. She pressed it into Evangeline's back, and sent a low charge scorching through her, but it was not strong enough to do anything more than make her a bit unsteady for a few minutes.
'Now that Izona's contained temporarily...would you care to explain what you're doing here?' the boss asked Evangeline, his face set into a grimace.

Enchancement? No, not even likely. Your experiment was unstable from the start. Further tampering will likely kill you. Or everyone in Karestra. Or both. Hard to say really...

Well, you see, I would, but if I show my face, chances are I'll be locked up just like you.
Yes, they can even capture ghosts in this place. I don't much fancy ending up in a similar situation.

The boss lowered his gun to Evangeline's knee, and a loud bang resounded through the corridor, over the sounds of Izona screaming in protest at being captured.
'That was a warning. One more refusal, and the next will be in your head,' he hissed, as Midian stole Evangeline's pistols.

'You son of a ******** b***h!' Evangeline screamed, clutching at her knee. She winced, sucking in a deep breath, and leant up against the wall, feeling blood seep out of the wound. She was temporarily grateful that Lella was out cold. 'If you wanna kill me, then kill me!'
