Amelia's own eyes widened, green pierced by gold. She gulped invisibly, but didn't move. She couldn't move. No sign of weakness. Show no sign of weakness. Stay strong... Her knees were wobbling a little, though, something she didn't want to admit.

Finally a new emotion spread across the morph's features, it was that of a frown. Since his answer had been negative, she could not support his actions. Alcyone had been born to live and serve Madriana, she would never act in a manner such as this without orders. If Madrianna wanted them to retrieve the keys, she would order them to. That was how Alcyone's brain processed the situation.
She let out a sigh before talking a few small steps forward, so that she might illuminate herself more to the people around her. "Then... might I ask if you would stop this, dearest Ikirru? I support your reason, but without orders from her greatness it is but meaningless violence."

Nils froze as the other morph stepped out, revealing herself more. Frantically, he tried to recall another song, Ninis' Grace, Thor's Ire, anything to help Amelia if she were attacked for whatever reason. Nothing came to his mind.

The Fire Dragon was glad to hear the female morph's response. Though he still stood in front of Nils and Ninian. You can never tell what some of these morphs are up to until they take action, he thought. He would be their shield until this was resolved.

"Which would, in turn, make me no better than these pitiful humans," he realized, sheathing his sword. "I will take my leave then, but first..." he walked over to where the lock of Ninian's hair was still on the ground and picked it up.

Amelia just gripped her spear. The second morph looked a lot stronger now that she was visible. She didn't relax until she saw Ikirru sheath his sword. Him lifting up Ninian's hair, however, confused her. She didn't ask, afraid now that he might take it as reason to try to attack.

Nils blinked, confused. The demand of what the morph was doing, however, was stuck in his throat. He was still too overwhelmed to speak.

"I like to have a memento of the people I kill," the morph said. "I realize you are not dead yet, but you will be soon." ( lawl Fire Dragon)

Alcyone gave the group a curt nod. She would make no action against them... today anyway. Her expression turned cold once again, "Remember... we're always watching. Do not act against us." With those final words, Alcyone warped away.

"You aren't killing them," Amelia mumbled, still holding her spear in her hands. She fell silent after that, watching the morph warily. She just wanted him to leave, already.

Nils' eyes widened. N-no! Not Ninian! He gripped his flute nervously, watching as Alcyone warped away, her words plus Ikirru's echoing in his mind.

"Not yet, at least." Ikirru then teleported away with Alcyone.

Amelia watched him disappear, then put her spear down and turned to Ninian. "Are... are you all right?" she asked. She was too relieved that those morphs were gone. She could still feel Ikirru's gaze on hers, it was unsettling, creepy. "Did he hurt you when he slashed out?"

Lyre laid down on the floor, paws in front of her. Just because there wasn't much threat of a fight didn't mean she was going to hang around in her part Beorc form. It was much more comfy being a large feline. She sniffed the air, not finding any trace of scent left behind by the morphs.
