C.C. kept one ear pointed up while the other one drooped down horizontally, as if thinking. "Well, with all of the fireworks the rotten apple was putting off, I doubt anyone who was watching really seen Sabertooth. As far as I know he's considered a "bad guy" here..." he said seemingly to himself. After a brief pause, he shrugged his shoulders. "Acquaintances, Some strange common goal, partners, love interests...hard to say. It's the Kingpin you're going to have to convince in the end after all. I'm pretty sure he has at least some knowledge of Sabertooth. So...mmnh" he said, then shrugged his shoulders again.

A small grin found it's way across the cat's face again. "She's certainly got the right costume to pull it off. And I can always help if need be. I always throw my weight in for the plot."

Skuld thought for a moment, "Well... That does fall well within my cover. I'm supposed to be the 'bad girl,'" the redheaded mage looks over Victor's physique, ".... And to be honest... I could do worse... Depending on Mr. Creed, of course. I figured that several of the criminals working for Kingpin would 'hit' on me. I have been trained to fill the role... If Sabertooth is worried about my virtue, don't. I can take it."
Skuld held her breath momentarily.

The cat kept his attention on the two a moment, and the tip of his long black tail began flitting back and forth. Oooooooh...this had possibilities of multiple outcomes as well. Someone working for the Kingpin....hm...
Actually...who was still working for the Kingpin now? He had a group, but that kind of fell apart early in the game. Half of them were gone now, or were too busy to come back. Hm...Shadow Spider could be convinced of offering him her services again. If there was a need. Gossamer...Typhoid....maybe Joker...Kain would probably be wrapped around Typhoid's finger before long if she didn't get him killed before hand. Chaos was far too busy...Warp had only joined him to help Chaos. He might join if Shadow did...but he'd rather hit on Shadow than Skuld.
...was that it? Man, someone needs to think of a way for him to get control of things again. He doesn't have much of a team at the moment. This only left for random henchmen to hit on Skuld at this point. Lame...
Maybe he could go and "help" Vice out of that cell. He'd be interesting. Or someone could bring in some more cameos since they were kind of doing that now. Just to give the big guy some needed back-up.

A soft purr reflexively rumbled from C.C. as his ear was being scratched. "Sure I'd be willing if it makes for a good plot. Not sure how I feel about those three little faces you have there though..." he replied with his eyes closed, enjoying the scratch.

"True...true." he replied. Of course, that could so easily go the other way around. If things go too perfectly, that can get rather boring as well. "You can complain about why such-and-such didn't just do this, but there wouldn't be much of a story if they did." he continued.

Lina chuckled again, "If I ever learned anything... Nothing ever goes perfectly. I don't expect it to. I need it believeable that Skuld appears to be the thief she passes herself off to be. 'Perfect' doesn't happen and would be suspicious."

C.C. was quiet a moment, either thinking or still enjoying the scratching. The fur around his back and upper arms had begun to take on a lighter shade. "I think I could help out with that then. If nothing else, I have a bag of tricks that comes in handy in any situation."
