Though Kiana hid her concern behind a smile as she too mounted her horse, she didn't miss the small details in Korins actions that let her know that his injuries were still causing him pain. "Korrin, whenever we get far enough away from the village, I'm going to re-treat you injuries. We're in a bit of a rush so I didn't have time to let the meds take full effect."

(Seen as I am sure Enzeru helped me...)
Quin mounted his horse thanks to Enzeru's help. He was inept at riding horses and mush preferred to walk. If only the journy didn't sound so long. "So, off we go then? I think we are all ready."

Gill looked around at all of them, confused. "Hey, I think I'm missing something. Who is he?" he asked pointing to Quin "Sorry if I'm being rude....but y'know, it'd be nice to know..."

"A friend who seems to be going along with you. I don't even know what is happening right now, all I know is I have to travel with you people." He went to turn his horse to the right, but ended up going left somehow. "My name is Quin, and I knew Enzeru when we were kids. I swear, this beast has a mind of its own!"

"Ah, ok" Gill said, nodding. "I'm Gilbert, but most everyone calls me Gill, you can call me which ever, I don't really care, so....I gues you're the new dragoon huh?" he grinned "Nice to have you with us." He eyed the horse. "Here, " he said hopping down from Toby. He walked over to the horse and whispered in its ear. He flashed Quin a smile and got back on his own horse. "You're good."

Katara looked towards Quin a smile flashing on her face. "Well, Quin, it does have a mind of it's own." She laughed.

"I do know that... I just wished it knew what I needed it to do is all." Quin smiled back. "Well, shall we go off? We have a long ways to go, and from the sounds of it, little time to get there."

"Good." Darek said with little emotion in his voice. "Lets get going. We will make one stop tonight, to go over what happened here. There are questions that need ansewring. From there we go, nonstop to the moutains. Move out." He said and set his horse off at a trot and then a slow gallope.

*I guide my horse, which I'm considering naming Bull, in a trot over by Quin.* "My name's Korrin, and don't worry none, you'll get the swing of things quick." *With that I nudge Bull off into a pace matching Darek's. Then a little faster....* 'Thank God this old guy moves smooth....'

Katara gave a smile back at Quin. "You'll learn." She said, before nudging Jesi into a quiet, slow gallop. Her young mare kept pace with Deraks stallion. Would it break into a race?

"I hope so..." Quin replied. He nudged the horse into a slow gallop, well he thought he was. The horse ended up going into a full blown run, quickly blowing past the others before he could finally bring the horse to a slow walk again. "I do hate this right now though."

"Okay. Let's try a different approach. Click your tounge and he'll go into a trot. Click it again, he'll go to a canter. Click it a third time, he'll gallop. It's a very simple way of riding, but I'll teach you whenever we get the chance. If you want that is." Katara said, a thankful sigh escaping her lips. It was wonderful how they were all a family. Well...sort of.

Enzeru mounted her horse as quickly as possible, which was a pure black stalion except for a small white dimond in the center of its forehead. She clicked her tounge three times and the horse went into a gallop. As she caught up with the rest of the group, she slowed the beast down so that she fell about ten yards behind them, prefering not to be bothered at the moment. The days events had left her with alot on her mind, but no time to find a place away from the others to clear it and think things through.

Kiana had let her mare, which she had decided to name Ginger, keep pace with Katara. She was afraid that things were only going to get worse from here, and it only made her worry more that Enzeru seemed to be avoiding everyone now. She seemed to be doing so much better, but now it looks like she's gone back to her old way. I wonder if she'll ever truely be free of the darkness that has overwhelmed her life. "Do any of you guys happen to know why Enzeru seems to be avoiding us more than she used to?" She was whispering so that the only one that couldn't hear her was Enzeru.

Darek glanced from Kiana to Enzeru. "I think I might but, it will wait untill we stop tonight. There are a few things I was not to tell you yet. But with what has happened, I cannot wait any longer." Darek looked solume and withdrawn. So unlike himself. He knew it must have the others worried but, it would take time to return to himself.
