Kay easily flipped up to the ceiling and hung from it as if a bat, in the same posture as he had been in on the floor. He smiled, "Okay... Maybe we have some talents." He walked across the ceiling and flipped so that he was sitting back on the couch, "But I'm afraid if you want to know them you'd have to experience them for yourself." Kai stated smiling, his fangs gleming in the light.

Rick looked up at Kay curiously, while Hannah seemed to glower at him "No, I'm going to stay as I am..." she said. Rick cocked his head to the side.
"You mean become a vampire?" he asked curiously "Not that I would...." he spoke less erratically and more serious now. He smiled brightly though "...not to knock you or your buddies"
Shane looked up momentarily, but he turned back to the book, continuing to read through it.
Mathis kicked open his own door, down the street from Kay's apartment "Home sweet hovel...." he mumbled, putting the empty mug of on the counter running around the three room apartment. He sighed as his head continued to pound, though his attention was on the bed "Best to sleep it off..." he mumbled, making his way over to the single bed and collapsing in it.

Kay laughed, "That's not what I meant." he added memerizing layers to his voice, "Relax..." Kay said soothingly, watching as all the humans in the room could help but relax and smile. "That was more what I meant." Kay added leaning his head back on the sofa.

Saiya growled lightly at Kay, not bothering to open her eyes. She knew he would get the message. Since she had basically put Shane under her protection at the corner store, it was only right she disapprove of him using his 'skills' on him. It was only a light warning, she knew he was harmless, but it was still required by instinct.

Pai had seemingly fallen asleep, eyes closed and face relaxed (though she had stayed floating a few feet above the ground), then without warning or opening her eyes she spoke up, "the elves have real magic" she said, but didn't continue though it had sounded like she might. She looked like she was sleeping still.

Kay laughed. "It seems you have a pet." Kay commented to Shane, gently flicking Saiya's ear playfully in one quick motion. To the humans the speed had been so fast, that most of them had just seen the ear move.

Saiya cracked one eye and glared at him with another growl. This one not so playful.

Kay grinned. "Down Saiya, down... Good girl." he teased. "Don't want to upset your new comfy pillow." he said gestering to Shane's foot that Saiya was using to rest her head on. "Besides. Who else would buy you vodka, buy food they don't eat for you, and then let you crash at their place if you killed me off?"

Hannah smiled at Pai, almost forgotten as she was "Really? What can they do?" she asked curiously. Rick yawned and curled up, his head still in Hannah' lap.
Shane looked down at Saiya, a little curious "I would if that's not a rhetorical question...." he said "Plenty of room down the hall" he smiled at the vampire.

Saiya snorted at him but didn't move. Let Kay tease her, he didn't get the opportunity often. Besides she was comfy.

Pai stayed quiet, looking asleep again, and just when it looked like she definitely wouldn't answer she did, "feel odd before leaving the concert earlier today?" was what she asked, instead of giving a direct answer.

"I alomst forgot." Kay said turning to Shane he gestured at a large, old looking chest along one of the walls. "That contains the volumes of knowledge and experinces I've gained throughout my rather long lifetime if you're interested. Anything from the different species of our kind, to historical events I've been able to witness first hand... although I do believe the truck it's self will engross you for a while." he finished smiling behind his hand. He had gotten the chest from a mage in Arabia in the early 1300's. It opened up, and after removing a false bottom, contained staris that lead down to a descent sized starge place where he'd put book shelves. The beest part was that upon lifting it, the chest had a normal bottom and was only the size and weight of any normal chest.
