Edward smiled and wrapped his arms around her to comfort her. She must have been overwhelmed with everything but he would protect her.
"Carlisle....this is Amanda."
Carlisle had appraised the girl with a quick once-over. She seemed like a decent girl, beautiful, kind, hopefully Edward's heart wouldn't be broken though. He could tell that Edward was head over heels in love with her. Slowly, Carlisle approached the two of them and smiled warmly.
"Welcome to our home dearest Amanda. I hope everything is to your liking?" He questioned.

Amanda smiled politley and nodded. "It is Thank you" she continued to smile "You have a beautifle home" sge did feel better now that Edward had his arms aruond her.

Carlisle smiled and looked at the two of them, they seemed happy enough.
"I'm sure Esme will be here shortly, she's been wanting to meet you Amanda. Edward talks about you all the time." He chuckled.
Edward growled and looked away, clearly embarassed.
"You just had to tell her that didn't you?" He whispered beneath his breath.
You must admitt Edward...you set yourself up for that one. Carlisle thought aloud.

Amanda blushed three shades of red and look down. "Nothing Bad I hope.." she bit her lower lip lightly and glanced at Edward. What had he been saying?

Carlisle chuckled again.
"Oh...nothing bad don't worry about that. He seems to lo-" Carlisle cut himself off mid-sentence when Edward shifted uncomfortably. He liked to play around and tease Edward every once and awhile but he knew better than to embarrass him.
"Oh...never mind that." He smiled. "So Amanda, how are you liking Forks so far?"
Edward let out a sigh of relief. He was beginning to think that Carlisle wanted to torture him for a moment and was glad that he had stopped before things went too far.

Amanda looked from Carslile to Edward. She was a little confused. She smirked lightly. "Uh..Forks is ... nice. I'm still adjusting.I came here from New York City so.."
She smiled softly

Edward laughed nervously, hoping that the conversation would switch to something a little less...embarrassing.
"New York huh? That sounds interresting, I've been there a couple of times but I could never get the hang of it, it was much too loud for my liking." He grinned, kissing her neck.
Carlisle watched as Edward's lips touched Amanda's neck, he tensed slightly, not sure how Edward's will power would hold up. It looked like he was okay though.
"I have a lot of friends in New York actually..." He replied halfmindedly.

Amanda chuckled lightly blushing. "Yeah..I neaded to get away from it all. My Dad thought bringing me here would be the best idea." she smiled. In her eyes it was.

Carlisle frowned slightly.
"So you do not like it here? If that is the case...then why did you move here if you don't mind me asking that is..." He smiled warmly like he always did.
Edward shook his head.
"This whole not being able to read your mind thing is really inconvienent."

She chuckled lightly "I'm sorry if that came out wrong. I do enjoy it here. I meant I needed a change. Forks is the perfect place" she smiled.

Edward smiled and lightly squeezed her, he bent down and kissed her cheek.
"Well, I'm glad you came no matter how selfish that sounds...." He chuckled, inhaling her aroma.
Carlisle laughed and leaned against his desk.
"If you ever are in need of something, you can always ask us."

Amandas face turned a light crimson. "Thank you" she smiled. She placed her hand on Edwards arm that was wound around her gentley. She smiled again.
Esme had been in the doorway. She smiled politley. "It is very nice to meet you Amanda. Your welcome here anytime." she walked over touched Amanda's shoulder lightly as she went to stand by Carslile.
Amanda smiled softly at her.

Edward smiled and lightly rubbed her arms. When Esme entered the room, he froze and straightened up a little bit. He smiled brightly and acknowledged that she was there.
"Hello Esme, you're looking good today." He complimented, his arms still around Amanda.

Esme chuckled lightly as she stood by Carslile "Thank you Edward" she smiled. She's adorable...Edward please be carefull she was just being herself
Amanda smiled. It was all she could do she noticed the differenceof how Edward shifted when she was around. He was such a gentlemen.

Edward nodded and smiled again.
"Of course I will...." He whispered lightly.
His arms were still around Amanda's waist, it felt like he belonged there....forever.
Carlisle cleared his throat to ease the silence in the room and opened his arms up wide.
"Why don't we all go downstairs and....have dinner?" Carlisle offered to Amanda. "Unless...you have already eaten...."
