Lyra sees the dragon-horse and reaches for her bow. She sees Ashley get hurt by the monster. "Oh no! Are you ok?" Lyra winces as Jess is almost run over. Before she can even pick up an arrow and aim, Jess kills the monster. "Great job Jess."
[[Jess and Bell, I'll agree with you on that. Jess is way too lucky.
I saw Alutian's post and was excited because there was another monster, but then I scrolled down and Jess got ANOTHER instant kill. xd So much for being able to fight again. *pouts* sad ]]

CHIMERA!
By the way, since we don't want anyone slipping on/tripping over/etc. trays and/or glasses of pumpkin juice, how about bringing in canteens of water and/or juice? Won't spill so easily that way.

Jess was sitting, taslking to the other students and elves when she looked up and saw a chimera charing at them all...
Jess stands up and walks to the side to get the creature away from the other students. It works, so now the chimera is only coming towards her. She pulls her dagger out of her pocket but the chimera knocks it out of her hand with its lobster claw hand. Jess then ducks out of the way to avoid getting hit.

Jess then moves to the side. But the creatures is still coming after her...
Jess quickly picks up her dagger and tries to push it into the chimera but it is good at anticipating close-range attacks and it is able to dodge her attack.

Jess takes a second to catch her breath but when she looks back up, the chimera is charging at her, and it was angry...
When the creature is right at her, Jess comes up with an idea. She slides under the chimera and while she is under the creature, she thrusts her dagger into its heart. Jess stands back up and when the creature falls over, Jess gets her dagger and wipes the blood off on her robe.
The Chimera is Dead.

"Ok, Jess, I'll give it a try then," Kitty cautiously moved closer to the eerily silent siren. Kitty jumped forward suddenly, slashing at the siren. The siren moved back but Kitty's sword still managed to cut it.
Siren has been hit once.
