He was a striker, you know that phase they went through in the 00's.

Scary times for fighting games...people thought they would be dead.
Yet FPSs with the big guy in bigger armor...no those NEVER get tiresome.

It was inventive, got to give them that, and at least they gave you the option to do traditional play style. It was more like the earlier MvC games, you know with the assist charaters.
Nope, those will never cease to be exciting or orignal, especially when they fight aliens. Just like Madden, never will stop being inventive.

I remember MvC...Wish I still had it for my DC.
but what makes say...the RPG hero unique to us. Cause they could say the same thing.
"uuh, so original spiky hair, amnesia, etc."

The character himself isn't original, but what is is the storyline that has more words in the first cutscene than there are characters in Madden's source code.

Plus, most people who play games like that wouldn't really know about these "faggy" characters anyway.
Even on a gameplay standpoint, its the same game of FOOTBALL year after year.
RPGs aren't worse than that, they're just different. A different way to enjoy and play games.

They will evolve, try different systems and explore, but not Madden.

Maybe in the states, but overseas? Rugby games probably sell better outside the US.
