Akiko landed uneasily, her spinning kick finding no foothold. She spun around to face the ground and grazed her elbows in doing so. The initial shock of hitting the earth sent a jolt of pain through her arms since she landed directly on the bones. She hastily recovered and staggered to her feet, but by the time she managed to right herself, Akemi was already behind her. Akiko tried to sidestep, but Akiko caught her in the side, sending her back down to the ground. She swiveled on the way down, falling backwards and landing on the exact same part of her elbows. Akiko decided that cockiness didn't suit her.

The girl laughed queitly to herself, this was what she was used to. Kicking around, instead of the kicked around. The smile on her face didn't falter at all as she eyed the girl a bit. "Come on, get up. You're never gonna learn this if you're on the ground!" she said a little mockingly. She was back to her old self, but held a little pity to this girl because she hadn't done anything to earn her a spot on her list as of yet, she was just a sparring partner. She took this under consideration when she started forward again, kicking a leg up so her foot caught under the girls side, but not with as much intensity as her normal blows would have been.

Karite wondered what his adversaries were doing right now? Shisei and Tanu both had squads and had become genin from what he understood. Shisei was with that blasted Uchiha who hurt Baki, and Tanu was with Yamanaka Kane. He knew very little about either and if he wanted to know how they were being trained he would have to know more about their leaders and the members in their squad. It was dire that he got more information and the only person he could think of who would have it was Yuki-sama. She kept paperwork on all the Shinobi progress and how skilled they were in the shinobi disciplines. If he could manage to get the paper work on the two squads he might stand the upper hand in a fight against both of them. Maybe he would even grab his own file to compare.

Holy s**t. There's a lot of numbers and mumbo jumbo going on. After training when you guys use kawamiri or any other technique and you do a roll that requires several different modifiers just write: 1d20 + Kawamiri [10] = No need for 1d20 + Dodge (2) + Agility Mod (5) + Kawamiri (3) = And remember to label the subtraction to your chakra points. 10 - Kawmiri [2] = 8
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yuki smiled as Rokugi came around behind her with a sweep attack. "No!" she managed to say, before she too slapped her hands together in the seal of the ram and performed Kawamiri right back at the boy. As she did this, she repeated the exact same moves that the boy did. Appearing behind him from the cloud of smoke, while his sweep attack hit a jar shattering it over the ground. Her foot came behind Rokugi to trip him just as he tried to trip her. As her foot went underneath him, the woman stood up over the boy. "You forgot to switch places with an object. Your sneak attack will utterly fail if your opponent isn't distracted by that object," the woman said to the boy with a sigh. "You did well for now. You can continue practicing on your own time, but I believe you understand the technqiue quite well," Yuki said as she approved the boy. "Move along to your next class now," the woman said referring to either the clinic or wherever Hamma was. As she finished with Rokugi, she got a chance to watch Akemi and Akiko after searching for them in the garden and smiled. "Looks like you girls got the gist of it too," Yuki said with a smile as she put her hands on her hips before putting up a hand to stop the practice spar. "I think you two should move along to the next class at the clinic or with Hamma," the woman suggested.
Avoiding Rokugi's Sneak Attack DC: 11 1d20 + Kawamir [High] = Auto-Success Cp Cost ### -Kawamiri [2] = ###
Sneak Attacking Rogkugi 1d20 + Taijutsu [High] + Kawamiri Sneak Attack [Supa High] = Auto-Success
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Notes to Everyone: #1 Whenever you have an auto-success, there's no need to post separately. If you beat an attack with no roll or a 1, then it does not count towards your total rolls. For your defending/attacking posts. #2 Whenever you have successfully set up for a sneak attack, you also add on the skill you are attacking with. So, it would be 1d20 + Taijutsu + Kawamiri Sneak Attack [Sneak Attack + Agility Mod + Chakra Mod] = #3 I can't believe I gave you a 3/3 train to do this. If I've seen you guys do it right once, we're good. I'm going to end training early.
I skimmed the postings again. message me if i missed something! Snacking on his berries Karite sat patiently as he was beginning to regain some his stamina. He had completely drained himself before hand but now he was back to half mass. Soon he would be ready to start learning another jutsu key to his own survival. Wondering what Kore was doing now Karite questioned leaving him. The cub was his partner and Maya and Baki were never seen apart often. If he was Tategami that meant he couldn't be far from his partner either, right? He was Tategami now. He wore the symbol proudly on his chest and face. If being with Kore all the time meant being Tategami then he would have to do it. Kore needed to get stronger just as much as he did, if they were always separate then how could they get stronger together? As soon as he finished his training he would return to the grounds to see if Ruha and Kore were hungry and then he would discuss with Kore the best he could their next steps.

Karite stood and popped the last of his berries in his mouth. Spinning his staff in his hand the boy was careful not to break anything. He wasnt back to full capacity but he felt it was enough to get a jutsu in. "Yuki-sama, I am ready to learn a jutsu. It has been a while but i also would like to know what my affinity is. I missed that day in the academy and feel it would help me in my future...against certain foes." The pause was a give away as to who those foes were. Yuki-sama had taught every student to come to the academy even Maya. She had many times told Karite to control his emotions and his anger towards two students. Orochi Shisei, the snake from his youth and Kun Komu Tanu, the fireball that sparks his wild side. "Yuki-sama, I have to be stronger than this." Karite gripped his staff harder, the claw marks made into by Hamma reflecting on his hand. "Honestly I dont want to lose. I lost all through my academy years and I barely pass my exam. I want to be on top for once. I want to be number one. I am tired of losing and I am tired of being protected and repaired. For once I want my hard work to pay off. For once I want to be the hero. From Shimada to the Meho attacks I have failed to protect anyone. Please teach me to be stronger."

Crossing her arms under her breasts, Yuki listened to Karite intently as he explained his feelings. "In order to be strong, you have to someone next to you to cover for your weaknesses. Like I've said before Karite, you are an emotional young man. You need someone who is sensible to be by your side and to have clear instincts free from emotion. Learning jutsus and making yourself stronger physically can only do so much," the woman explained as she put her hands on her hips. "You actually already have a partner like that and I'm sad to see that he isn't here with you," the woman was referring to Kore. "His name gives hint to what he should be to you," Yuki said as she lifted up her hand and placed two fingers on Karite's chest. "Your core," she said with a small upturn of the lips while pulling her warm fingers away from his chest. "Now, after you learn this technique, you must do as I wish and come back here with your whole self. Otherwise I will no longer teach you," the woman demanded that Karite come back with Kore the next time he come asking for her help. She had given him good reason. "Now, you are of the Tategami Clan. I can sense it, Maya can sense it. You should sense it as well. You have the Earth Affinity, Karite," the woman said as she sat down on a bench.
"We're going to learn Tsuchi bunshin no jutsu," Yuki announced as she put her hands in the seal of the boar. "Let's begin by learning the seals; boar, ram and tiger. Do them together and activate your chakra," Yuki instructed him, even though he had just gone through the seals earlier. "Seals in certain sequences activate different traits. This will activate your earth affinity," Yuki explained.
Earth Clone Technique [Tsuchi Bunshin no Jutsu] This jutsu creates one or more identical copies of the user out of mud. There only needs to be earth nearby for the user to create a clone. The clones are physically real and can perform jutsu, but will turn back into mud when enough damage has been done. All earth clones have 1/4 (25%) of user's stats and cannot be controlled over long distances. Cp Cost: 25 per clone Damage: 25% that of the user Requirement: Ninjutsu 10, Character Level 5, Earth Affinity Seals: Boar, Ram, Tiger Avoid: Dodge [Treat as normal person] Detect check to differentiate fake from real. Special: If clone uses a technique, the cp cost comes from the user. Special: If opponent fails the sense/detect check and you choose to fight alongside with your clones, opponent rolls an additional "Luck" dice with their attack. This dice does not count towards their total dice roll. For them to hit you amongst all the clones, they must roll a 11 or higher. If they succeed +Luck Roll to next sense/detect roll against technique.

Karite understood what she was saying. People had weaknesses built into them. To add to their strengths they had to find balance. Kore was that balance for Karite, understanding that he would be able to become stronger. Yuki-sama knew a lot about all the clans on the island and she was very insightful in the students she taught as well. It was no wonder why she was known as Mama-Yuki to some people. As She went on to describe his ties with the Tategami clan she knew his affinity from the start. It explained a lot. he felt more power surge in him when he used the boar symbol. The seal for earth and the earth was a strong force indeed.
Readying himself for his next exercise he almost lost his composure when the woman told him what he was doing. The same thing he had be doing all day. Not arguing he put his hands together and charged up his chakra. First the boar symbol. A Symbol he knew and cherished now that he knew why he felt even more power being drawn out of it.

The ram symbol was a common one used in the academy for many of their training sessions. It seemed to be the easiest to draw chakra from and it didn't exactly matter your skill level with chakra due to the natural flow this seal provided. Without so much as breaking a sweat the boy built up the chakra in his body even more. If he continued on such a path he would be an unstoppable shinobi one day.

Rushing his hands over into the tiger seal Karite managed to build his chakra up quicker and higher then anytime he had ever used his chakra. It seemed Yuki-sama's skills with jutsu were more in depth than he had thought. Crossing his arms across his chest he leaned his head back in his arrogant stance he usually got after completing a task that seemed impossible. "Finished Yuki-sama, ready for the next task."

Akiko rubbed her side for a moment, sore from the blow struck there. She couldn't quite figure what to make of Akemi. Just moments ago, she was acting vulnerable. Now, she was on a downright ego trip. Akiko wasn't particularly pleased with this turn of events, but she had to roll with it. She got into position and formed the seal of the ram, anticipating the oncoming attack. Just as she charged chakra into the seal, she heard a voice from far away. She recognized it as her mother, so she tried to pause and pay attention to what was being said. However, this delayed her defense long enough to allow an opening for her partner's blow. Akiko caught the attack directly in the same area as before. The dull, throbbing pain from before became exacerbated, but at least she didn't fall over this time. She took a few steps back and clutched at her side, clenching her teeth to take the focus away from the pain. All that she could hear her aunt say was "clinic". She turned to her partner and asked, "Did you catch what she was saying?"

Body Replacement Technique [Kawamiri no Jutsu] This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Explosive tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. Fundamentally, all ninja know this technique. If the technique is successful you can use sneak attack to attack your target. CP Cost: 5 Damage: N/A Requirement: Must be taught. Seals: Ram Avoid: Dodge or Ninjutsu roll. Special: + Chakra Mod to Dodge, Sets up for Sneak attack if dodge is successful. [damage for final attack]
When the girl hear another voice in the garden, she blinked a little and shook her head. She had been too wrapped up in the exercise to notice Yuki-Sensei had found them. She took a few steps away from Akiko and listened to what the woman was saying. Apparently class was done, well this part of class. She looked to the girl she had been partnered with and sighed, "We are done here... You can either go to the clinic for more lessons for find Hamma.." she mumbled to the girl as she recomposed herself. She started to take a few steps away from the girl, when she stopped and turned back around for a moment to look at the other girl. "You know... You need to toughen up a little." she said with an empty tone. For once she wasn't being rude, or not trying to be, just giving a piece of unsolicited advise. Akiko seemed to have the ability to be strong, just didn't seem to know how to do it. "I'm going to go try and find Hamma-Sensei. He was the one from early classes yesterday. You can do the same or go to the clinic for whatever they are doing." she said as she started to think and walk away. She didn't feel like going to a clinic full of people, and Hamma-Sensei hadn't pissed her off too badly yesterday. So she figured maybe he could teach her something of interest today. She on her way out of the garden, she stopped to find Yuki, and once she did she poked the woman's arm. "Where can I find Hamma-Sensei at?" she simply stated as she folded her arms across her chest, and cocking her hip out a bit as she waited for an answer.

Akiko kept an open mind as she listened to her partner's advice. She knew she wasn't tough yet, and it would take quite a lot of training before she could get to a stable state, much less tough. She thought about where she should be headed next and decided upon the clinic. She was already wounded from the fight, so she could seek treatment while she was there, anyhow. She bowed to her partner and walked up to her aunt. "I will go to the clinic and see what I can learn there. I'll try to be back before nightfall," she noted. She didn't want to run off without letting her know where she would be. It was simply good practice. Akiko held her side and found her way quickly off of the estate.

Turning to Akemi as she asked where Hamma was, she smiled pointed towards the shoreline. "He'll be down by the Lagoon today," the woman said to the Raiken. "You did a really fine job in class today," the medical kunoichi commented with a nod of her head as she turned to Akiko and beamed a smile. "Good to hear, darling. I'll be teaching you eseijutsu in no time," the woman said with a broad smile. "Good luck in your next classes, girls," Yuki wished to them with a final wave before she turned back to Karite. "Good to hear. If it took you longer than that, I would've thought your training from before would be a waste," the woman said with a grin. "Now you'll be molding your chakra into the ground. Earth Clones are the highest form of clones. Unlike other clones, you can perform other ninjutsus through them. The earth molds and holds your chakra better than any other element, so it is also the easiest clone technique to learn. Practice molding the earth with your chakra. Shape it as yourself," Yuki instructed Karite as she decided to take a seat on her bench.
