Personally Lore saw nothing wrong in paying them a visit, besides as Elnara had said it had been a very long time. Though not as long as it had been for Ulani and Ulrich, and it would be... enjoyable in fact to introduce them to the other children.

"And it would be interesting to introduce everyone," Lore smiled as his hands went back to finishing his braid, "I think everyone will have a good time in that."

Lin looked up for a moment before setting her doll on the table beside her, she would put her back later before she went out. After all dollies couldn't go out on real adventures, they might get hurt or lost.

"It sounds like home," she commented making her doll sit.

Donovan mused on this, Lin was right, it wasn't so different from home at all, which was kind of weird since they weren't home at all.

Kara giggled at that, "I can imagine how that would be like. It's good though to know they sound lively after a week."

She smiled a bit more softly, and it seemed like it was going to be her and the children and everyone else without Donovan. The young angel was already making plans to try and keep herself busy.

Triton chuckled, "It's like we haven't left home," he commented to Celebor noting the noise.

He was willing to bet it was Kaito, having neko children like him, he knew how much noise they could make without meaning to. He followed Celebor in, it was a bit odd having rest from the kitchen though, he would have to admit.

"Mi...." Miyu turned and blinked seeing as they both had Kaito she sighed a breath of relief, that was good.

It seemed to her that she could not handle her more active younger cousin.

"Thank you," she smiled, "Breakfast?" She pointed the way she was heading.

Cindy was already passing them, tying up the ribbon to her blue dress as she pattered down the stairs. Searching her pockets for the ribbon to hold back her shoulder length blond hair, though. She was already mentally going through the day's tasks that she had set for herself.

"With that pan in your hand, I would imagine so," Ryu spoke up as he entered the kitchen, Feng following directly after him.

The twins smiled and greeted each of the family members in turn. The table seemed fuller than before but now that Adwin and Alyse were old enough to be sitting at the table it shouldn't be a surprise.

"To be fair," Elrohir smiled as he began to set the table, "most of the children are saved as they're on their way to becoming slaves, so they're not quite as bad off as the children like Shael were. Shael had been with them for at least two years, possibly more, so thei children of her group took far longer to adjust."

"And there are times when I wonder exactly how much she's adjusted," Haradhel added as she rubbed her hands together. "For the most part, she's like any other young woman ... but on the other hand, there are times ... once in a while ... when we still see the odd slavish habit coming out in her."

Celebor chuckled at Triton's comment as he headed into the dining room. When he spotted Donovan sitting with Lin, he nodded greetings. "Good morning, Lin, Donovan," he said warmly. "Donovan, do you mind if I come with you on this trip?"

"Let Kaito go," Kaito whimpered, struggling to be freed from the grips of his two brothers.

"Only if you promise to be good, Kaito," Shiro said firmly. "Stay calm, no running, no jumping on anyone, no kitty behaviour. Only people behaviour."

"But Kaito want play," the neko whined. "Fun!"

"After breakfast is over we can go outside," Shiro promised, "you can play and run then."

Kaito sighed and nodded, stopping his struggling. Then he mewed pitifully, though he started submissively towards the stairs.

Storm and Starr emerged from their room (they were sharing while they were there, since they were still young enough) and, seeing what was going on, exchanged a glance before heading after the others towards the stairs. They said nothing, however, choosing not to comment on Kaito's obvious lack of self-control.

Elnara smiled brightly at Lore. "Yes, I think it will be a lot of fun," she agreed with a soft laugh. "I'm sure Ulani and Ulrich must have heard about everyone by now, but to hear about something and to see it first hand are two entirely different things."

She smiled. "Will you be down shortly? Or should we wait for you?" she asked him teasingly.

Shael laughed at Ryu's comment as she set the pan in the middle of the table.

"Even without it," she replied with an impish grin. "The children know better than to ever knock me down. I believe Ulani has threatened them with harm if they ever do so again."

As she motioned for Feng and Ryu to take a seat, Amdir chuckled and sat beside Adan. "They nearly broke her leg the first time they knocked her down," he explained, "and even though it's far better than it was originally, Ulani still fears that it is weaker than the other and will break more easily."

"On the one hand," Shael commented as she began to serve the food, "I think she's right, that it may break more easily since it still isn't whole, like anyone else's legs are ... but on the other hand, I feel that it is quite strong ... it has been a long time since I have used a crutch at all. Yet I can't help but get the feeling that Ulani will try to fix it entirely if it ever breaks again - an experience I'm not eager to have."

Lore smiled in return taking the moment to give her a peck on the cheek. He used a hair band that he had kept on his wrist to tie up the end of the braid.

"I'll walk with you," he replied after a moment.

"Morning Celebor, Triton," Lin smiled from where she sat.

She looked up at the two, her nephew (though it was so weird to think of him as such now) and her brother.

"I don't mind at all," Donovan replied, "It'll probably be easier than two."

Personally he liked the idea of three people instead of the usual two, and since they could spare it why not? Besides, this is what Celebor so far wanted to do, he wasn't going to deny the boy that.

Kara took a seat beside Donovan thoughtfully, it had been a long time since she had seriously talked to Shael. She should go visit her, was the thought that came to Kara's mind. After all, she had time and the children here learned even without her usual schooling. (In some ways being here she didn't have to worry about schooling as much).

"To be fair, it is very hard to escape habits at times," she mused, "Especially when you're a blank slate... I remember the bowing incident when she was little... ah, I should visit today, besides I need to check on Tao."

Miyu didn't know whether to feel sorry for Kaito or not as she followed the boys down the stairs. On one hand she didn't like to be run over, but on the other he did look quite sad.

"Well he be alright mi?"

Ryu could imagine that, after all it if already broke by accident then she could fix it, but better not to have a broken leg at all. He couldn't imagine it being very pleasant at all.

"I would... imagine her doing that," Feng admitted, "The threatening I mean."

"I'm sure Shael would love if you did," Haradhel assured Kara warmly. "It has been a while, after all, and she doesn't come out here much anymore, not since Sir Leith started taking care of the horses for her."

"He's been a real blessing, Sir Leith has," Elrohir agreed, "but it does tend to mean that now Amdir is the only one from the valley that has any business out here, though now even he doesn't come out quite as much."

"But you should make sure to see Adonijah when you're there," Haradhel put in brightly. "Aliya and Amdir as so proud of him ... as they are of all of their children."

"Come to think of it," Elrohir added thoughtfully, "weren't the twins just babies the last time you were here? They're what, four now? You'd be amazed at how much they've grown."

Elnara's eyes grew bright, but Lore's little kisses hadn't made her blush with embarrassment in a long time. While they were just as wonderful as the first one had been, she welcomed them as much as anything else anymore.

"Then I'll wait right here until you're finished," she smiled back at him, leaning against the door post to do just that.

Shiro nodded. "Silvrendir says that he used to be like this all the time," he replied to Miyu's question, "but that once I came to live with the family, that he settled down. Now, he's still like this early in the mornings, but once he goes outside for a bit and runs around, he calms down again. It's merely an overabundance of kitten-like energy that he will grow out of someday, nothing more. He'll be fine."

Celebor smiled, pleased, and nodded at Donovan. "Thank you," he said warmly. "It means a lot to me."

Amdir laughed heartily. "Indeed," he chuckled. "I understand that some people can have violent tendencies, but when Ulani threatened to flay them alive I could hardly believe my ears."

"I'm sure she would never do such a thing," Shael laughed, "but she would indeed punish them."

Adan reached across the table and poked Ryu on the shoulder. "What's flay mean?" he asked in a whisper.

Lore chuckled as he turned for a moment to finish tying up his hair before flipping it over his shoulder. He was sure he wasn't forgetting anything else, though he did remember to grab his small notebook and a pen. One never knew after all what might occur to them in the mist of whatever happened.

Turning once more he joined both Elnara and Skye. Placing a gentle hand on Skye's head.

"I'm ready."

"You did say you want to do this, so you might as well when you ask to," Donovan replied.

His attention though was momentarily taken away by a name he did not recongize. Of course he realized only after the fact that there were probably new fighters hired by now. Mentally he cursed himself for forgetting, it looked like Arwen was going to have her wish. Staying for a few more days was the only way he was going to be able to meet them now.

"Who's Sir Leith?" Lin asked, voicing the question that Donovan had not.

She sounded interested, but then again Lin spent most of her time on the Ranch rather than visit Ulani and Ulrich, for it was the ranch where she learnt everything and had her interests in.

"Another child?" Kara grinned looking very excited, indeed she was going to have to take a visit there.

She was very looking forward to it now, though it was kind of sad that they didn't get to seem them all that often anymore.

"But he looks a bit sad," Miyu replied softly.

She couldn't help it, even though Kaito did frustrate and at times scared her, she did like her cousin. When he wasn't trying to pounce on her or anything like that.

"He'll live," a voice behind them replied.

The only other young-old child on the ranch next to Shiro strolled up from behind them. Toshiro personally thought that Kaito needed to learn to calm down before he got into trouble, and if it meant to get help in calming down so be it.

"If you feel that bad, just play with him when we go outside, but get Wish to come with us, she's good at watching isn't she?"

Ryu coughed for a moment wondering if he should really explain that concept to Adan. He blinked down at the boy and paused for a moment before thinking about this.

"Uhm... I'll tell you later," Ryu murmured.
"You know.. that didn't work well when Fluffy said that to me," Feng pointed out to her brother.
"Because you're single minded and insane at times."
