"Good job" said Mikuru. "I'll go next" said Mikuru while pulling out of line. Then when she did she asked for the canter and went through the triple combo perfectly then she cantered through the corner and cantered over the five stride in a five then she walked back to line and patted Starlight on the back. "Ok Aki please go next" said Mikuru while dismounting and lowering the jumps. "Yes Mikuru" said Aki. Aki asked for the canter, like the others and looked for the first cross-pole and jumped it then he looked at the other two jumps and jumped them as well. Then the big test, the five stride. They jumped it fine but Aki should have steered properly. "Darn it" he said while walking back to line. "Wonderful job, Aki" said Mikuru while making the jumps higher again. "Ok, who's next" said Mikuru.

Shana sighed. "Alright...well, here goes nothing." She said, gathering up her reins. She closed her lower leg around August and thrust her weight down in her heels. She applied slight pressure on August's outside and he lept gracefully into a canter. She cantered him past the course, then headed for the middle of the first jump of the triple combo. She took a deep breath and let August fly.
August cantered up to the jump. His ears flickered back and forth as he approached it. He finally came up to it and snorted. He freaked out and flew WAY to high over the jump, landing and flying over the next one, landing and then flying again. He snorted, a bit shaken but proud of himself, and continued cantering to the five stride.
Shana stayed in her two-point through all the jumps, even when August flew over them.She sat back down in the saddle when they finished the triple combo and adjusted herself in the corners. She then made the turn to the five-stride and asked August to lengthen quite a bit.
August lengthened his canter and flew over the first jump in the five-stride. He landed on the wrong lead and switched over immediately when Shana asked him. He continued cantering. One, two, three, four, five..and a half. He faltered before the last jump and had to hop over it. He cantered back to Rose and Emma. "Well...that was...fun, I guess." he said, his voice shaking as he smiled at Rose.
Shana sat in the saddle, breathing hard. She looked over at Emma, her eyes wide. "Wow." She said, trying to catch her breath as she reached down to pat August.

Amy's mouth was dropped open. "Wow is right! Shana you where amazing!! Me and Moon can't even do what you've just done!!" Amy exclained.

Emma smiled at Shana, "That was good. You two work well with each other. Just giving August time to get used to the jumps and not fling himself over them." She reached over to pat August.
Rose nuzzled August. "You did great August. You cleared the jumps with plently of room to spare. Next time try not to jump so high, it's a waste of energy."

Shana returned the smile. "Thanks...I felt like I was about to die, he was flying, both in speed and over the jumps. I'm glad he didn't throw me." She said, patting him as well.
August returned Rose's nuzzle, laughing lightly. "Thanks. The jumps spooked me a little, I felt like I was going to fall over them if I didn't jump high. Now I know better." He said smiling. He reached his head over to allow Emma to pat him.

"Don't worry you'll both get the hang of it in no time." Emma held Rose's reins tight as the mare played with the bit.
Rose tossed her head and jingled the bit. "A few more tries and you'll have it." She nipped at him playfully.

"I'll go."Collin spoke up moving to the front. He had been quiet the entire time. He ran a hand through his hair surveying the course. He urged Wildfire into a canter and started the course. They soared over all of the jumps, a little off on the last one.
Wildfire snorted tossing her head as they headed back to line. "That was fun."she said softly.

"Great job Collin you were a little off on the last one but that's fixable" said Mikuru. "Is it time for me to go again?" asked Mikuru.

August smiled at Rose and nipped back at her. "Eh, who knows? It could be several more tries." He said.
Shana watched as Collin jumped the course. "Great job, Collin, much better than what I did. August was trying to become a pegasus, I swear." She said, grinning.

Emma laughed, "He probably could have if he jumped any higher." She smiled at Collin, "You guys sure know how to jump. Nice job."
She tossed her head. "You'll get it down in no time." Rose pranced and look towards Wildfire. "Good job Wildfire."

"I guess I'll go and change the course then" Mikuru said while dismounting Starlight and setting up a new course. "Ok I'll jump the course first and then Aki will go then Shana, Collin and last but not least Emma" said Mikuru. Mikuru mounted Starlight and pulled out of line. Then she picked up the right-lead and jumped the white vertical on the diagonal and took five strides to the blue barrel jump. Then she turned left. Starlight did a lead change Then they headed toward the oxar and did a four stide bending line to the water jump. Then they cantered toward the brick wall jump, which Starlight almost knocked over but he picked up his feet just in time. Then they trotted back to line. "I'll go" Aki said. Aki asked Star for the right lead and jumped the white vertical and took four and a half strides to the blue barrel jump. Darn he muttered. Then they turned left. Star did a lead change Then they headed toward the cross pole oxar and did a four stride bending line to the water jump. Then they jumped the bricks, but Star knocked over the first rail. Then they trotted back to line. "Good job just the knocking of the first rail and taking four and a half strides to get five strides you have to squezze her sides so she goes faster" Mikuru said.
