Arix sat up. "I thought we already figured that out."

Garret looked at the fake-Pendari. "You know, this is the first time I've ever wanted to fu...you know what? Nevermind...Anyways are we leaving this ship now?"

AC got bored, so she decided to skip laughing at Garret's half-spoken remark and post that Lanita was lying unconscious, not moving or anything, and breathing shallowing. She's just lying there unconscious, because she's got wounds and they knocked her out with pain and stuff, not doing anything. Not even dreaming feverish or not-really-that-feverish dreams. Nada. Because she's KOed.
Just thought I'd post that.

Syx glanced at Arix, "go back to your cell."
She shot a second glare at Garret, "And don't you even think about bothering the patients while they're out of it."
"As for you, Spy, I suppose with this Lankin character being in charge of Pendari's attempted death, it's completely your call. You'll likely face some pretty nasty enemies if you try and take her ship, but if you think you can handle it, then do so. We need the ship."

A.C. stumbled into the prison. "Lanita..?" she called out uncertainly. By this point she had gone back to their room and washed some, so she looked a bit tired instead of deathly ill and filthy. Her rainbow of hair was still wet, so it mostly just looked brown with a couple patches of gray. "You around?"

He winked. "Sure I can get the ship. I'm incredible, remember?"
And with that he left.

Burning Disaster "We need the ship now? I thought we needed the cards." "The cards are an instant fix to the problem, but possibly a longtime project. The ship might get us some help, some law-folk to come watch our backs while we work out the details of the ship." Syx walked over to him. "So now that you're patched up, start talking. Who mugged you?"

"Medium height, blonde hair, a few tattoos. I couldn't see his face." He answered immediately. "I'm pretty sure he thought I was dead, and won't be expecting anyone to know he has them." He sighed. "I could also get a third if you'd be willing to help me out."

Her rainbow of hair was still wet, so it mostly just looked brown with a couple patches of gray. "You around?" Lia turned to the new arrival and approached cautiously. "Lanita is unconscious on the operating table. You may have to wait a while before she wakes up." "I see," A.C. said quietly. "May I see her, ma'am?" She very carefully did not look Lia in the face, trying to be demure and submissive. The attitude was at odds with her bright clothing and sparkling array of tattoos, but on A.C. and Lanita's planet there were only two things manufactured: spidrills and containment suits. The first infested the streets like flies, and she had grown up relatively comfortable around them, but stories of who the latter goods were meant to hold kept her fearful now of Lia.
She hoped it didn't show, not sure if that would set this dangerous monster off.

Pendari woke up to find herself on a recovery bed, pushed into the corner of the prison. She glanced beneath the sheet and noted the bandaged stump of her arm. Her own clothes had been taken and replaced by a female guard uniform, although the top was missing a few buttons and a blaster shot darkened one of the sleeves.
"Contact Sean," She spoke aloud, and then glanced around in surprise as there was no responding beep. Her eyes widened, the orb was always following her around. He never left her side like this. Pendari sunk back down against the bed, feeling oddly alone, despite the noise of the people not too far from her bed. Her arm ached, or what was left of it anyway.
For a moment she considered she should be surprised and happy she was alive, but it wasn't likely to be lasting long. Lankin would have her dead. The kore couldn't afford to lose an officer of her ranking to anything but their own hand.
Pendari twitched, if she was going down she'd be taking plenty with. She sat up and grabbed a green filled syringe from off the side of her bed. The shot would give her system enough of a boost that it wouldn't collapse from exhaustion or blood loss, not for several hours at least. After plunging in the needle, Pendari got out from the bed, stumbling a few times until the boost took a hold and helped stabilize her body. "I need a card." She said to the gathered crowd. "I need a card to get to my ship."

"And how exactly would I need to help out?" Syx asked. She gave Pendari a nod as she moved off of the bed. "We don't have any cards at the moment, but we're working on it."

She hoped it didn't show, not sure if that would set this dangerous monster off. Lia stepped out of AC's way, so she could move to Lanita's side. "She hasn't waken yet, but we've done all that we can for the moment."
"Pendari, if you go outside in this condition, with the boost or not, it is highly likely you'll die." Lia felt the need to say it even though she knew she would be ignored.
