Zys breathing became slow and steady; almost like he was sleeping. As the sun began to retreat behind the mountains, a tear ran down Zy's face. His hand reached for Shaon Wanting to touch Jasmine; but he pulled it back before it made contact. Zy rested on his back; face up at the sky. What's wrong with me? He wondered.

Assuming he was asleep, Shaon slipped into her own state of calmness, slowly being drawn into the recesses of sleep.

Zy gently took off his mask; careful not to wake Shaon. Starring up at the Darkening sky. He was wide awake and didn't feel one bit tired.

Shaon slept quietly, curled up like a cat bathing in the sun.

Zy couldn't take it anymore. He got up and and walked around; not making a sound as he did so. I'm eventually going to have to tell Shaon the truth, if Jasmine is her mother then she has a right to know. But how would she react? Zy couldn't rest with these thoughts in his head. Jasmine said she loved me, what did she mean by that? She wanted to spend the rest of her life with me and I walked away. Shaon would never forgive me for that. Not after what Zander did for her. He continued to walk around.

Shaon rolled over in her sleep, cringing as her wounded side touched the ground.

Shaon's movement startled Zy. He looked at her as she slept, I'll tell when I I know for sure. He thought as he laid down a little ways away from her. He put on his mask and quickly went to sleep.

Zys eyes flickered as they played back his brief life with Jasmine; His face was covered in sorrow.

Shaon yawned, her mind blank. she had no dreams, her mind hollow.

Zy rolled over on the soft grass towards Shaon; his mind till trapped in his past.

Still asleep, Shaon put her arms around Zy. "Zander..." she whsiepred, her head agaisnt his chest.

Zy felt her warmth. "Please forgive me..." Jasmine. Zy, still in his past, placed his hands over Shaons check as it lightly caressed her.

Zys eyes stopped flickering, and the sorrow was removed from his face. His sleep became peaceful and would remain for the rest of the night.
