My name is Heather, I just became a member of this guild. Umm, I guess my infatuation with the Japanese culture and language started from my friend Keiko when I was 7. She came to live with us from Japan for a year, and she taught me a lot of hiragana that I didn't understand untill later on in my life. She taght me a lot of things actually, like how to make origami and use chop sticks. Ever since I guess I just loved it. I'm currently going to college to becaome an interpreter of the Japanese as well as other languages. I though this guild might be interesting to be in, so here I am. Hello!♥!

みなさん、こんばんは!スヴィと申します。フィンランド人です。日本に留学しました。日本が好きだから、もう一度そこに行きたい。。。 heart

Hi, I'm Suvi from Finland, and I was an exchange student in Japan. I really liked it there, and I hope to go back in the not-so-distant future so I can meet up with my friends and brush up on my Japanese. ^^ I don't know kanji though I'm supposed to know 500 by now...meh, what can I say, I'm the type that just doesn't learn kanji. f^^; I started studying Japanese in 2003, I'm not really sure where the interest towards Japan came, but it struck me hard... During and after Japan I've also build a respectable manga collection, though reading it all will take me about 3 years...f^^;

Minna! Ohaiyo gozaimasu desu~! Watashi wa Ayame Midorikaze desu~
Hajime mashite desu. ^_^

Hello everyone. I'm Alexis Greening, but most people here call me Aya, for obvious reasons. ^_^;; I've been a member of this guild for quite a while, but this is the first time I've actually taken a look at it. I have very little understanding of the Japanese language, sentence structure, grammar, vocabulary, you name it, I can say much about it. (That goes for what I wrote at the beginning of the introduction. ^_^)

I look forward to learning much here, I hope you all look forward to teaching me. ^_^

Hajimemashite. heart Watashi no namae wa Kiora desu... Douzo yoroshiku. sweatdrop

Well, now I can't say anything else in Japanese. Oh well...

Hello everyone, I'm 16 years old. I've been trying to teach myself Japanese since 6th grade, but lately it takes a back seat to Spanish. It's safe to say I only know random phrases, basic pronunciation, and a couple of words here or there.

I'm really interested in taking my education a bit further by enrolling in a Japanese class once I've finished Spanish. The pronunciations are actually quite similar, and some of the grammar. An example would be "Saika's kitten."

Saika no koneko. Gatito de Saika. I probably didn't say the Japanese phrase right but you get the idea, ne?

Anyways, I like drawing, singing, writing, reading, and studying languages. I enjoy karaoke in Russian, Spanish, and Japanese. If you think I don't know much about Japanese, you should probe my mind to find out how much I know about Russian. I can sing along to bits of Tatu music but that's about it. XD

Hajimemashite, ogenki desu ka? [Nice to meet everyone, how are you all?]
Onmae wa Ashikada Nanashi desu, degozaru. [My name is Ashikada Nanashi]
Douzo! [Pleasure!]

I'd like to say "Arigato gozaimashita!" to the guild leader for the acceptance, and I'd like to say "Konnichiwa~!" to all the self-taught Japanese-speakers out there like myself. I'm 19 years old, female, USA. I've been teaching myself Japanese since Freshman year in high school, and I'm now a sophomore in college. YAY~ me! I have TWO relatives living in Japan, and I should be paying one of them a visit soon. Either that, or I shall be visiting my friend Hinaara when she moves to Japan. I'm so jealous! :3

I speak English, Tagalog, Dutch, Spanish, and a bit of Japanese. I karaoke mainly in English and Japanese, and have mastered the Japanese versions of "Sobakasu", "Ike Ike". "Teen Titans", and "1/2".... Currently working on mastering the Japanese versions of "For Fruits Basket", "Momiji's Song", and "It's Gonna Rain."

Much love for anime and manga, and Japanese culture and tradition (ceremonies, dress, etc). I'm a pretty good fanartist if I do say so myself, take a gander at My Deviant Art to see for yourself.

I'm also a gamer, my preferred platform PS2 -- but I readily play Oblivion, Star Wars: Battle Front. and Soul Caliber on XBox/XBox 360.

I think that's it.... PM me if ya wanna be friends.

UWAAAH, kore wa kakoi desu!

Konnichiwa, minna-san! Genki desu ka?
Atashi no namae wa Beru da naa~

Hello, everyone whee How are you all?
My name's Belle, and I'm seventeen years of age. Been trying to self-teach Japanese for a while now, but I'm still about to start on my katakana sweatdrop And, truth be told, I haven't fully memorized my hiragana yet. I'm close, though!

My scholl doesn't offer Japanese classes, and unfortunately I'm too poor to pay for lessons sweatdrop So I try my best to learn it off of the internet.

Anywho, I also have a few more hobbies. I love dancing DDR, but they took down the arcade I used to go to at the mall emo So now I'm getting fat! xp
I'm also a huge reader. My favorite reads would definitely be fiction, but I read other stuff too, although not as fast. I also find myself with a lack of reader friends to talk with, so I feel lonely gonk

There are a bunch of other things that interest me, but right about now, I'd say those are my favorites.
I look foward to making new online friends in here! ^^

Hajimemashite!
Ja!~

Hey, my name is phredrik, but you can call me phred or phreddy if you wish. I have been trying to self teach... but I don't have the attention span. I am 15 and am not very good at hiragana or katakana.

I'm American, by the way.
