Ok Dest. Yuuki messaged back. I'm not sure I'll be able to move for a little while anyway, thats a good idea. We should be relatively back to normal in a bit, I'll tell you then. Just keep an eye out, wiith the spell we just cast, It'll be a miracle if nobody noticed.
Finishing speaking to Destiny, she closed her eyes for a moment. It really was a miracle that nothing had happened on the outside so far, especially because the one drawback of that spell was that it was bright aura wise, and gave off a lot of energy so it was easy to spot. She only hoped everything would be ok.
She was taken out of her short reverie by a familiar voice, one she hadn't heard in a long time. Opening her eyes wearily, they widened sharply after noticing the newcomer to the room. She gave one of her signature smiles.
"Lex! Wow, I haven't seen you in forever!!" Yuuki's smile widened. "I would get up and give you a big hug, but I'll give that to you later considering it's kind of hard to mvve right now." She gave a small laugh. "Oh yeah, that's Iana, she's a newcomer to the organization, but I trust her already very much. And you should remember Aidan. I'm glad you kept the pendent though, we could really use your help right now. But how've you been?"
((Bortelex: can you please PM me stats on Alexa? Since I didn't see any on the front page. Since right now I'm going off the fact that she's a witch and I'm trying to make it as if Yuuki and Alexa were old friends - maybe grew up together type thing! ^-^ ))

"hmm... That sounds familiar," Dorenel said thoughtfully. He stood up and walked over to a book case. On the top shelves of the bookcase were a few rows of scrolls. The scrolls had a tint of magic weaved into the parchment by their creator. He scanned passed some and settled on one in the middle of the middle row. He pulled it out and unrolled it to about a third of the way down. And read it aloud.
"K'jedon Marinvo
tenth day of the fifth month of the 547th year since the death of our nation.
On this day I was met by a Tramer Qorsa of the Xorin clan. He stated quite directly but not plainly that he wanted section three of scroll 372, dated between the fourth month of the 489th year and the eighth month of that same year. What is contained on that scroll I scarce not reiterate. He said, 'This time of darkness must come to an end. Too long have we been hiding hoping for a chance to gain power. We must change the balance of power in our favor. All we need is that which I am told you had written long ago.' His statement was true enough. Night seemed to last longer for the past years. But to give him what he sought, I did not know what to do."
Dorenel wound up the scroll and placed it back where it had been taken from. He went back to his desk and said, "What was sought then is in my most protected box, the same as is what you now seek. How do you know which part of the scale you effect most?" As he said the last his eyes went briefly to the scale. "How will this play out."
Alexa gave a full smile when she was told more of Iana. Then she turned to Aidan and made eye contact before turning back to Yuuki. "I'm sure you must be drained after that kind of spell, I'd probably be blacked out on the floor after it. What was the scope of it anyway, I came from about the D.C. area."

Finally the spell was over. Iana gratefully took a seat after leaving the circle. Truly she was drained beyond belief. The energy she exerted to heal the patient before paled in comparison to now. She tried not to show her fatigue, but it was a losing battle. Iana's eyes jutted upwards from staring at the floor when a woman appeared. Apparently she knew Yuuki. The young witch listened and happily let Yuuki answer for her as she offered a smile to the newcomer.

Tramer let out a slight chuckle as the old mage read off the scroll, “you ask a question to which, you as well as I know the answer quite well…” Tramer said as he approached the strange scale the old mage had glanced at, “thou I will admit it is strange to be the one doing the same thing again, yet on the other side… back then darkness had been in power for many centuries, after my people had been scattered to the wind, and while I was fruitlessly trying to fight what I was becoming, I visited your ancestor, and with the items I acquired from him I set the wheels in motion to grant light its time in power…whom would think, all these centuries later I would come again to reveres what I had set in motion” Tramer said as he started to closely examine the scale, “so, I ask to you a question…will you maintain the ever going struggle for balance, and give darkness its turn in power…or will you side with light and deny me what I seek?” Tramer asked thou never taking his gaze of the strange scale.

((Sorry I haven't been on, but finals are over now so I should be on more.))
Jigantro felt as if he had been watched all the while he was walking, no matter, he was used to being followed and knew how to get them off of him. He didn't want to turn around to avoid suspicion. He could actually feel somebody around him, but that feeling passed as a small glow went off in the corner of his eye. He felt some aura start to fade as the glow dimmed. "It could just be a neon light going out." He said to himself, but he wanted to be sure. So he started to walk to where the glow stopped.
After some time, he was finally about seventy-five meters from the front door of Lionheart ind. He noticed someone at the front door, he couldn't sense any aura coming from the person, but the outline of the figure from the shadows showed that the person was female.
Jigantro knew the hunters' headquarters was somewhere around, but he had never been that far out. He wasn't sure who the woman standing outside the door was, but he knew she was watching the place for some reason. He had to get closer. He crept along the side of a building getting ever closer to the woman, who was now getting in view, but still couldn't tell who it was. Soon he stopped in fear, the woman was Destiny, and she was only about thirty feet away. He turned into an alley to his right, but was walled tenfeet down. By now e had maken a lot of noice and forgot to lower his aura, which was fluctuating. He was trapped unless she didn't come.

Destiny stood compleately still with her eyes closed. She could feel a vampire aura come closer to the building and then move further away again. Smiling to herself she stood her ground. One vampire was not worth leaving the door unguarded. She new that her name was beginning to be well known amoung the dark world, that she was a force to be reckoned with. It pleased her to know that vampires especially feared her. She had spent the first half of her life terrified of them, now she felt more of a connection than anything else.
Yuuki, as soon as you guys are rested enough I am going to head home. I have some stuff to take care of before we meet with the other hunters.
((OK, I have noticed that alot of people have been playing multiple peoples. I am going to ask that if you are playing more than one person to make a profile for them and pm it to me ASAP. This is so we are all on the same page. If makes for smoother sailing.))

Dayan slunk across the ledge of the building hideing the little bit of human aura there was. All anyone would see was a black cat. He huntched down to watch the hunter for awhile, and hoped to catch a glimpse of her witchly friend. All the other had found places to stay within the city limits and new where to meet if and when the time came.

"As far as I see it, balance is not achieved through those means nor is it a struggle." Dorenel said in a darker tone that he was necessarily trying to speak in. Dorenel moved closer to the scale. "Perhaps if you want to comment on how to best serve the balance you should be informed on how it works." Dorenel gestured to the three that hung together. "These three are the ones you are centered on. They are three distinct forces that are bound most closely. The ones that oppose each other are 'light' and 'dark' or 'good and 'evil' but they are effected in less obvious ways and can't be attributed to any particular group. The third is that which is neutral. That which does not hold to anything or push anything away. As you can see those powers are generally even although constantly fluctuating."

“for one whom clams to know so much about balance you really are clueless, this piece of junk can tell you anything of what is in the harts and minds of the powers you described” Tramer said gesturing to the scale, “the world is at the crossroad, much as it was when I came to your ancestor last, just as all other things the balance of power has its cycles, just as winter turns to spring, light must yield to the darkness, then after darkness’s time the cycle will continue as the light banishes away the darkness, ever continuing the chain of time, you are a naive fool if you believe you can change this cycle that has went about since the beginning of all things…one way or the other the balance will sway…thou your actions, just as your ancestors will ripple upon the pages of time and determine how many will have to die in this stage of the cycle…” Tramer continued now taking his gaze off the scale and making eye contact with the mage.

Jigantro finally calmed down seeing as how he wasn't followed and decided to lower his aura completely. He checked his watch, it finally decided to work and he felt his powers coming back. He walked out of the alley, seeing as how Destiny didn't follow him in there, she wouldn't follow him out, so he thought. Right as he was about to turn out of there, he saw two guys in large coats standing at the street. It was a bit cold, but not enough for those big jackets. He was trapped, for now.
'Just have to wait a bit longer' He thought, feeling his powers coming back ever so slowly.

Glanceing down at her watch Destiny yawned. It was just about 1AM, and the long nights were catching up with her. It had been a half hour since she talked with Yuuki and she decided that if anything should happen the others would be safe in the belly of the large building.
Stepping down the stairs and onto the street she turned down the road that would lead her home. Passing by an ally she could still feel a sliver of the vampire's aura as she walked past. She glanced over at him and useing her telepathy asked.
Why do you just stand there?
She continued walking as she waited for a reply not knowing if it would come or not.

"And just as you finish with what you are concerned with you turn away." Dorenel said with a slight chuckle. "You are forgetting the last two. The one closer to the three is chaos. The last is destruction. With those a full picture is presented. I have found that large swings of power only result in chaos growing in power. When chaos grows large enough, destruction is sure to follow. In the past years chaos has grown in power. I am not ignorant of things I see the events as they unfold, but the cycle is only a cycle if people make it a cycle." Dorenel went over to the protected box knowing that Tramer could not overpower the protections around the study that prevent aggressive action from succeeding. Dorenel opened the box and pulled out K'jedon's scroll. Dorenel then turned to face Tramer. "When this plan was carried out fifteen million people died because of it. If you were to get what you want what would the death toll be, three hundred million or perhaps more?" While Dorenel spoke he placed a trace upon Tramer. He hoped that Tramer would not be able to sense it.

((sorry haven't posted >< I just finished my finals yesterday.))
Yuuki gave a tired look over to her old friend.
"Yup. That's putting it lightly. I'm basically exhausted after that, and I'm pretty sure both Aidan and Iana are too. It took a lot out of all of us, to be blunt. I just want to go home and pass out." Yuuki then, struggling a little, pulled herself up to a standing position, still leaning partially against her desk.
"Looking around for a moment, she sighed. IIt's probably time we left. It'll be best if we all get to our respective homes for tonight, so we can sleep." She closed her eyes for a moment.
Dest, I'm going to head out. I have enouhg energy left to help Iana get home and to fly home myself. So you can head out. Night.
Opening her eyes again, she motioned to her companions.
"Aidan, Iana, I can help you guys get home if you wish. Lex, wanna crash at my place tonight. We can catch up before I fall unconscious." She gave a small smile.

Jigantro smiled a little as his full power came back. He had two bursts finally , but did not want to waste them against Destiny if she came, because of her telepathy, it would disrupt the bursts anyways.
Believe me, you would be standing still too, look around you, I'd stick out like a sore thumb right now, but only to you. So does that really answer your question?
He stepped out of the alley behind Destiny, stopping as she was down the alley. "I usually like to talk in person, it's a lot easier to tell if that person is bluffing." He said this with a smile coming onto his face.
