Tempest watched him for a moment, curious as to why she'd never seen him around before. Probably because she didn't get out much. She then tried to think up a new conversation starter. "Um...will you be going to the masquerade this coming weekend?"

Tempest frowned slightly. Fighting? That didn't sound good. "Aw, I'm sorry to here that. I hope it's nothing too serious..."

"You and her must be close..." She kind of wished that she and her brother were that close. He'd always been away from home, only coming back for family emergencies.

Tempest nodded, her mind wandering slightly. She thought about the upcoming masquerade and what she'd wear...also about the possiblities of meeting new people. Would her brother go? If he did, he'd just hang around his girlfriend or do nothing at all.

After flipping through his sketchbook for awhile Michael finally came upon a picture of his sister, it was only from the waist up and the page was bordered with words, just like what he'd been working on when Tempest walked up. "It's not quite finished... I still have to color it..." he said as he held the book up some, for her to see better.

Tempest turned her head toward him again, looking down at the picture. It was beautiful as was the subject of it. "Wow... That's so lovely. And Lena's always been very pretty."

Michael smiled "she's quite a good subject to draw.. when I can get her to sit still long enough..." he let out a laugh.
