She knew the answer before he said it. Upon pausing, colors sprang to life around him, brilliantly. Confusion colors, lust colors, love colors. Guilt colors. She frowned softly and looked up at him. She stood, and still had to look up. Pity for this creature that stood in her door flooded her, and she reached out to brush his cheek, softly, murmuring,
"You don;t like yourself very much, do you, Liam?"

silverfox_angel His hands slid her top up as he deepened the kiss.
A growl deep in his throat, he pulled back breathing heavily.
"Did you eat anything my love? I seem to remember we never did get to the kitchen..."
"Um . . . oh, err, no, not really. Do you need anythign? I can get it. Lets just make sure we're fully clad this time, neh?"

Liam's heart crumbled as Ophelia brushed his cheek. He felt as though he'd been hit by a truck. I have to go now... he forced out, taking a step back. You have company you should probably return to... he added, swallowing hard as he tried not to trip over himself.

She let out a soft, anguished sound and caught his shoulder, murmuring, softly,
"Liam, wait . . . please . . ."
She swallowed heavily, before whispering,
"I've been waiting for the chance to talk to you without being angry for months. Since before I was gone . . . please don't leave."
What he said suddnely sunk in and she recioled, sharply, looking like she'd been stung. Green. Dark, murky, ugly green And black. Lots of both, so suddenly in his aura.
"You can read minds."

"No need to go anywhere my love. My angel needs feeding...just a sec."Kissing her hard, he got up to pick up a bag he had dropped by her door earlier, carrying it back to her.
"Akki was baking earlier...she does when she's worried."
Pulling out fresh cinnamon buns, he tore off a piece. Popping it into her mouth, he followed the sweet bun with a kiss, tasting the sweetness on her lips.

He swallowed hard and looked to the side, blushing deeply. I didn't mean to...It...jsut happens sometimes. When I look into people's eyes I see so much that I shouldn't...I've mostly learned to block it, and ignore it... he told her, swallowing again. He kept his eyes on the ground as he bit his inner cheek again.

She hummed in pleasure at the taste of the sweet bread, and then the kiss that followed and chewed, slowly, savoring, then swallowing.
"Mmmm. Be sure to thank her for me, these are WONDERFUL!"
She studied him, carefully, wondering, vaugely, how much he'd seen. To find out, and find out fast, there was only one way. She turned, slowly and shrugged the already-low shoulder of her shirt down and swept her hair out of the way, revealing the ivory "LQ" forever on her shoulder, waiting for a response.

Liam closed his eyes and shook his head. I'm sorry, Ophelia... he said softly, glancing up to realize she'd turned her back to him. He tilted his head some to observe the scar. Did...someone do that to you? he asked in a soft voice, hoping not to further offend her as he continued to study it.

He raised an eyebrow in question, his hands inching her top up again as a devilish grin grew.

She stayed stalk still, silently praying,

In the end, her concious couldn't even be her guide on this one.

Liam shyly stepped into the house, moving closer to Ophelia. He touched her hand softly to let her know he was there. Do...you want me to make them disappear? he asked in a soft voice, letting it be known he hadn't read her thoughts, only sensed the silent pleas.

She began to readjust her shirt, slowly, feeling as though her heart had just gotten a large chunk bitten and carried off by some wild thing, and murmured, slowly,
"No, I don't. I want them there so that . . . so that I never forget. Ever. And besides-"
She choked the words down before she spoke them. No. Not to Liam. Any one else she could tell, maybe, but no. Not to Liam.
