Rhm smiled wide. "Hey I've got fencing, too!" "We've got to go, Rhm," Pan said testily. "Alright, alright," he thought back. Outloud he said, "OK, well it's been fun talking to you, but we have to go to class. I've been late for two classes already and I don't want to set a trend," he said grinning, "I'll see you at dinner! You gotta tell me stories about the Human Realm, and I'll you stories about this world. Deal?"

Kuragari eyes never left the angel as she waited for class to start. 'I can't believe angels are real int his world. I wonder if there really dead.' Kuragari hand flies to her face and wipes a tear from her eye. 'I wonder if they could be here. Somewhere in this world I may. No I killed them, I don't deserve them to know I'm sorry.' Another tear slipped out of Kuragari's eye but she ignored it. No more tears leave her eyes. 'I will not be soft I will not let that happen. I am not who I was, I am not human, I am not Laura Theresa Feter anymore. I am Kuragari a vampire of the black clan.' Taking a sip of blood Kuragari looks away from the angel and at the wall. 'I am a demon.'

"Yes, we gotta go as well!" Cassio was already starting to get nervous, walking around her legs "This guy never lets me be late...And sure, it's a deal! I'll see you then, there!" Waving at the boy, she sped up in the direction of her next class. Entering the room, she looked at the teacher, who was sitting silently at her desk. "Hum...I'm sorry I'm late, Professor." The girl said, bowing slightly. "Since it first day, I'll let it pass. Now, sit down, pleas. We are all writting a small essay on right and wrong today, you may start as well." "Hum...Sure!" The girl sat down quickly, her eyes sparkling. Finally, something to do. "And at the only class I was hoping for some history background, too..." The thought nearly made her chuckle. But It was probably just a small test to check on their current abilities. Picking out her pen, she looked at the blank sheet in front of her and started writting.

((I'm really really really sorry... I've been soo freakin' busy it's not even funny. I'm just post now to let everybody know that I'm still alive mrgreen and I'll edit this with my post once I'm done reading everything. Sorry again...))
(([EDIT:] and now I have to go to church. I'll post as soon as I get back and that's a promise! wink ))
A tickling sensation reached its way up to Jack's brain from his fingertips. Jack had been dreaming. He was in a black void just floating, relaxing. He chuckled as the ants in his fingertips jiggled around again. Staring at nothing, nothing to worry about, the one place that's safe. A sharp pain crunched around Jack's hand.
Bright colors streaked through the darkness. The young man sat straight up in his chair. He was already rubbing his hand as a soft trickle of blood crept out from under his skin. "Now why did you do that!?" Jake found himself raising his voice and yelling at his Familiar, who was lounged out on the floor.
Anko's voice came smoothly and calmly Take a look around... Jake abode and his eyes found empty chairs, chairs randomly assorted and an chalk streaked chalk board (remnants of chalk from an eraser). The class ended at least five, maybe ten, minutes ago.
Panic started rising, "Wait, so that means-?"
Runes starts in a couple of minutes in room 205
Jake slid his nearly empty notebook into his backpack, while the pencil took its place in his pocket. Quickly zipping up his bag, he stood and slung one of the straps over his back and bolted for the door not noticing if the room truly was empty (I'm not really sure if Rhm is still there).
He beat feet for the staircase and jumped down the last five stairs, bending his knees to absorb the shock. After recovering from the jump, which didn't take long at all, the boy continued his run. The door panel jumped out at Jake. It had random symbols written on the silver plate with the numbers "205" scrawled above.
Jake stood panting in front of the door waiting for his breath to return. When it did, he wiped his brow and opened the door calmly. The first thing that he saw on the left were a bunch of stone slabs with two stone slabs, that Jake took to be chairs, seated behind them. There were about seven or eight seats occupied by other students. They all seemed to be conversing so the young man took it that the class hadn't yet started, and he strode over to an empty table.
Upon reaching a desk in the second of three rows, Jake slowly lowered his bag onto the slab and took his cold, hard seat. He surveyed the classroom taking in the other peoples' faces and even that of a familiar curled up on one of their heads.

"See ya!" Rhm yelled, going in the opposite direction. He broke into a run and burst out a door onto the grounds. "Eastern grounds, Rhm. You've got about thirty seconds." He rounded the side of the building just as the bell rang, and he could see a group of students in front of the archery grounds. Rhm dropped to all fours, running almost silently to the back of the group. He stood up in time to see the sickly looking teacher bulls-eye a target. Rhm silently whistled. This guy was pretty good; and Rhm knew something about archery. He picked this class because he thought it would be easy-peesey. Kids in his village had been using bows since they were five. But this guy was good. "Maybe we'll actually learn something," Rhm thought to Pan.

((Thanks, Keru!))
Asako looked down at the taloned hand on her shoulder and gasped. "Oh my God..." she said out loud. All of a sudden, she felt her heart break for this boy. She didn't know what had happened to him--didn't know what unwanted ability or uncalled manifestation inside him had caused this, but she could tell it was destroying him inside.
"What happened to you...?" she asked, voice naught but a whisper. All of a sudden, none of it mattered. Relationships, school, even that she was sitting in the front row of class and should be paying attention to what the teacher was saying. Even that she could probably hear them talking, and wouldn't like it much at all. Only that this boy, Akerian, must have gone through something terrible--something Asako with her easy life could never have imagined.
Asako had never known much sadness, or darkness, in her life. She never really cared that much before about the suffering of others, either. She wasn't cruel--she just hadn't seen it as her problem. But seeing Akerian here, a comrade, a fellow student; someone who had walked up and called her by name--standing up for a misunderstood race, showing kindness and empathy...it made her heart bleed to think of the kind of pain he must have gone through. Must still be going through.
"Come to dorm F101 tonight at six." she said quietly, trying to keep her voice under control. "I'll help however I can."

Half of the class had left the room by the time Mori had noticed the bell had rung. He picked himself and his bag up, picking a soliditary folded piece of paper from his pocket. "Lecture hall..." he mumbled to himself, thinking about his philosophy class. It was boring, but it was supposed to strengthen and open his perception of the world, which in turn would greaten his alchemic understanding. He'd be able to clearly define the difference between genius and abomination.
The halls became less densely packed on his way to class, signifying that the bell was going to ring soon. Mori increased his speed, reaching his classroom just before the bell rang. The teacher had said something about writing an essay on the difference between right and wrong. Great...

"well, if you want to know what happened, we have quite a bit of time, as it looks like the teacher is just talking about basics of music." acarian sent to her. "i was born a human. somewhere around age 3, me and my parents were hiking on some mountain in Japan. we happened to come on a burial site and decided to cut through it. while they were checking out tombstones, we happened upon an open grave. in the grave was a pendant. it shimmered green, like an emrald. my mom reached down to pick it up and dropped me in by accident. i, being impulsive, grabbed it and put it on." acairan was suprised that he was opening up like this. he never usually opened up like this but he kept going on, unstopping. "the pendant sunk into me, and took on it's true form, the dragon. it's power, was amazing... for a while." acarian felt a few tears fall down his face, but he kept going. "at 7, i tried releasing all of my power at one and found out at that time that i didn't have full control over my powers. i...destroyed a village full of people that day....everyone...massacured. me and my parents moved that day. a year later, it happened.....again. but this time, it happened on it's own. it kept going on this way until i was 14. that's when my parents couldn't take it anymore and abandon me. at 15, i met the girl of my dreams. she was a vampire, which is why i have a soft spot for vampires. i was allowed to live with her and her clan for as long as i wanted. when she asked me to stay with her forever, i gladly accepted, for as long as it lasted....which wasn't as long as i would have liked." acarian had tears falling down his face in streams now, but he was determined to finish. "the next month, another clan of humans came. vampire hunters. i tried to stop them, but they just kept killing. that's when i released all of my power once again. and we won....more like the dragon won. after he killed the bandits, he killed the surviving vampires.....and my girlfriend. i stumbled around until i came upon this place. i knew someone here would probally be able to help me...and you are my help.
((wow, my hand hurts from typing this much xp promised, can this be enough to take me off the blacklist? i think it might have made up for the one post with not enough wording... please? mrgreen ))

Kuragari's eyes went back to the teacher as she spoke.
"Greetings, my students. I am Miss Sheatiel, your Music teacher." She played a few gorgeous bars on the harp to emphasize her point. "Today we will be going over the note values, and a few simple scales." she smiled around at her charges. "Well then, shall we get started?"
Kuragari watched as Miss Sheatiel began drawing varoius notes on a nearby board. FIrst a half note, then a whole note, quater note, quater rest, half rest, whole rest, and an eigth note.
'So this class will be eas as well then.'

Aqua looked up as a boy came in, slightly late. the teacher looked at him, then around the class. 'Any volunteers to hand out the sheets?" he asked. "no?" he pointed to aqua, then to six other people, and said. "okay, you seven, hand out the sheets, one each." he set the large stack into seven smaller stack, and explained "these are the different sheets we will be using." Aqua shyly came up to the front and, taking up a stack, started handing them out.

((Gosh this class doesn't make room for interacting...))
Good. Bad. Evil. Opposites, Parmenides, light, darkness, morality. Points of view. Freedom. Limits. Laws. Determinism, Existentialism. Two sides of the same coin. The concepts flowed by Anne's mind and through her pen effortlessly. She loved Philosophy, had always loved it. She remembered Mrs. Morningstar's words on Black and White magic, she remembered her most valuable lesson: Know yourself and your limits, your virtues and your sins. Her hand was starting to hurt, but she didn't care. Is pleasure good and pain bad? Or is sacrifice precious and lust evil? Which are the higher values? Choice. Pleasure contempts you; Pain makes you grow. Is the ultimate good worth the intermediate evil? Are the ends worth the means? What if it's the other way around? The class was silent, apart from the scribbling pens; Anne was on her second sheet of paper already. Sighing, she paused in the end of a paragraph and looked around. No one she knew was there; actually, the class wasn't full at all. Philosophy is hard. Yet, philosophy is good. Is pain good?... And she kept writing, pouring her mind and soul on the previously white paper.

((Psst! I wasn't late to class wink )
Momentarily after Jack had taken his seat the demon of a teacher silenced the class and started pointing out people to pass out papers. The finger slowly pointing out six students. At last it fell upon Jack. Silently - but reluctantly - he rose from his seat and strode down the aisle towards Mr. Enadohl's desk where seven semi-large stacks of paper sat waiting to be handed out.
Jack reached the front of the room and happened a sideways glance at the others that were called up to help the teacher. A petite-looking girl with wavy auburn hair tentatively lifted one of the stacks off of the desk and turned to pass out her sheets. Seeing this, the boy took the stack in front of him and turned to follow suit.
As he walked to the front row of desks and looked down on the pile of papers in his hands. It was a key of letters corresponding to logograms. That was all. He had reached the first desk by now and had passed out two sheets of paper to its occupants when his foot caught on something jutting out from the floor. He stumbled a bit and knocked his forearm against a blunt edge of the next table.
He mumbled a rushed apology, bowed his head and continued to divvy out the sheets.
((Aqua, did you have anything in mind for what these worksheets would be on? Because if you didn't I was sort of thinking that one could be sort of being able to write the logograms(runes), while another could be a simple sheet of translations, and maybe another would be a picture of an ancient slab that could be translated or something. These are just ideas though...))

((didn't really have any idea of what they were supposed to be. so yeah, lets go with that.))
Aqua looked around, her one red and one golden eye scanning the sheet. it seemed to be a photo of a stone slab, with runes etched into the surface quite clearly. she finished handing out her sheets, and noticed a boy stumbling slightly, also handing out the sheets. she walked past him, smiling slightly, and sat down at her table, by the window. she heard a tapping on the window, and noticed ember, her phoenix, outside. making sure no-one was looking, she opened the door and let her in, and she hopped onto the aqua's shoulder, quite small, fledging-like, and aqua supposed she must must've gone through the cycle. she softly chastised her 'i told you you shouldn't have eaten all those mice. they're just fuel, you know.' ember looked at her, and started preening.
