she understood this. they must not have told garreth about it. "well i was playing with cyan out in the woods. we weren't far out but still out of sight. that's when he started acting up.. i didn't know what to do. i picked him up and carried him out but he almost didn't make it.."

"Well, he did. You shouldn't worry about it. It's silly and you did what you could." He kept looking at her and scratched the back of his head a bit.

"heh. i suppose your right." she still felt bad. he didn't understand that it was the scariest moment of her life. thats why whenever cyan gets an attack she gets so scared.

Garreth got up from the bed and looked at her. "Well, it's no easier than getting waken up in the middle of the night because he coughs once or twice and I have to make sure that it stops."

she just nodded then turned to the door and decided to go see how cyan is doing. she left th room and went downstairs

Garreth had followed behind her because he was curious himself. Cyan had finished his breathing treatment and seemed like he was alright. He was in his father's arms and had his head resting on his shoulder. Mari was standing there and coughed a bit. Her soup was most likely cold by now, but she didn't care. Her child needed her and that was all she cared about. "I think I should head back to bed before I get all you guys sick. If he starts acting up again, tell me." She walked passed Garreth and ruffled his hair and then she smiled at Raine and bent down to speak to her. "That's my girl." She kissed her on the head and then went upstairs to her and Smash's room, closing the door behind her.

she smiled a bit then walked up to smash and looked at cyan. smash kept holding onto cyan and rubbed his head gentily, making sure he was calm. he smiled at raine and garreth. "thank you guys. you really helped us out."

Cyan kept his head resting on his father's shoulder with his eyes closed, giving a small sigh. His tiny hands were clinging to his shirt and didn't seem like they were going to let go. Garreth just smiled at his father's words and didn't say anything in return.

he went into the living room and sat on his chair and kept holding cyan. cyan needed rest after his attacks and he was going to make sure he gets it. "how about we watch some tv for a bit?" raine nodded then sat on the couch. "ok daddy."

Garreth walked in and sat on the other side of Raine so it was like she was in the middle of the couch. He leaned back into the armrest and just watched as his father searched the channels. Cyan seemed to be in a half-asleep state. He could hear everyone around him, but he was just tired.

he put on some cartoons for them then ran his fingers through cyan's hair. he just smiled and enjoyed holding his boy. raine was watching tv and giggled a bit at some parts but mostly to get over what happened.

Cyan let out a small sigh and kept his eyes closed as he nuzzled his father's shoulder. Garreth sat back and crossed his legs as he watched TV, laughing at a few funny parts, but other than that just smiling.

he smiled and kept doing what he was doing and wondered how mari was doing. raine kept watching then she pulled a game from her pocket and turned it on.

Cyan had drifted to sleep in Smash's arms and seemed like he was breathing fine. Garreth was still sitting on the couch and continued to watch the cartoons.
