Yeah, I dunno where I'm going with Sho either at this point, but again that could be because its a bit past 5 AM.
Honestly, if KB couldn't open this thing with his brain I don't think Cole will be able to either. -_- Not without actually spending five years to stare at it.

Back to Cole! Cole should bring his mind to acension. Use some sort of echo effect to imprint his thoughts on anything that can recieve or amplify telepathic communication. Essentially do a bit of what KB did, and surge memory or personality onto a specific or general range of targets with a passive intent. The recieving end SHOULD take in the message unless they block it, and if they're linked or an amplifier or the right physical material, further bounce it along.
It wouldn't be interactive, so much as it might be more of a mentally projected hologram. A preset directive of actions, quirks, personality, that bounces along or feeds off of things. Since it's passive, it wouldn't so much store itself in the mind/material as much as use it as a projector. For example if projected onto Sho, it wouldn't burrow into his mind and feed off it, but rather a complex and direct message would be recieved and Sho's own mind would probably unwittingly give it form to do as it may.
Probably wouldn't work on beings that have higher levels of control over such things, but in other cases it might be extremely useful. For example, one might make an attempt to use it on the children. It seems they aren't overly protected, and at least Trilla has the capacity to recieve messages. One could simply rush them with a mental barrage, since sneaking around is pretty useless.
Mind you, this is all assuming Cole has that level of control. sweatdrop

Hm, glad I re-read what you posted before I revealed all my little secrets. xD
Yeah, Cole doesn't have that measure of control yet. Not consciously. However... its similar to what he's doing right now with the image. His brain set him up with a way to "haunt" Sho without being dead, problem is he doesn't know its happening. The barrier lets things through, but Cole can't recieve any information from inside.
If Cole could somehow find out that he was transmitting...
Well then, that would be a different story.

Could always transmit some level of telekinetic thought on the same measure. Of course, range on such a thing from a humanoid source without control is bound to be neglible, nothing more than Cole's footsteps idly kicking up dust on the other side of the barrier or something crazy like that. sweatdrop
Course, haunting is just that much closer to posession. wink
