Ike sighed. "We've been stuck in this base for a week now. My guess is she'd be where the cannon is. I know just how to get there. Follow me!" he said, taking off jogging to the stairwell where the two grunts were yesterday. He ran down the stairs and off down the corridor below, just fast enough to let everyone keep up.

Squirt, tired as could be, returned himself to his pokeball. Sammy looked around at everyone, then began following Mr. Ike down the stairs.

"Haha." Ginji laughed as he followed close behind Ike. "Really? I guess being stuck in a dream world makes time fly." he said a bit louder then what he possibly should have, but the base was pretty empty since he'd returned from Darkrai's clutches.

I took Cody's advice and capitalized pokemon and moves, I also added more things rather than the pokemon's name all the time...so yeah...here it is!!!
MISSION- A Planner for a Scanner Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to the Abandoned Ship and get the scanner.
Pokemon: Magikarp Wailmer Barboach Feebas
Funds upon completion: 400
Ever since the fire it hadn’t been the same. I was living in an apartment complex, one close to Aqua HQ, in any case of Aqua related emergencies. The town the apartment complex was in was bigger than Rosethorn, but smaller than HQ, of course, most every town seemed smaller than HQ to me. The apartment complex allowed pokemon, but Arcanine was over the size limit so I had to send him back to a day care center in the next town. And since so many children lived in the complex, the manager decided I would have to keep Mightyena in his pokeball whenever I was inside. Many more rules applied to the pokemon, it seemed the owner didn’t like pokemon, but since most of the customers would have pokemon he had to allow them, with a few strictly enforced rules.
I had just finished shopping at the town market, now, climbing the stairs up to my floor, I preferred stairs, when I dropped my booklet, the book fell several steps then stopped, open on a single page. I set down the bags and jumped down the stairs to pick up the book. I picked up the book but paused to read the entry my mother had dated, May 15, 1994.
May 15, 1994
The baby is said to be born in 1995, that’s only one year away. The baby is a girl, we are thinking of naming her after a pokemon, maybe Cresselia, most likely, especially since the baby’s father is researching Cresselia. Father, I’ll now refer to him as, has found out some things about Cresselia. He says that when the baby is born, the baby will do great things with pokemon. He hopes for the baby to become a ranger or a scientist, I just hope the baby will be happy with whatever she does. Father is off to find Cresselia soon, he hopes that one of his assistants can capture the pokemon so he can further research it.
May 21, 1994 Father has called back from where they found Cresselia. We must leave Rosethorn, abandoning our sunflower garden, for Cresselia was almost caught by the assistant, but it’s the assistant’s idea to use Cresselia for evil. Father says we must run because the assistant will use me and the baby to get information out of Father. Since Father refuses to talk the assistant immediately attacked. Father was attacked and his friend was killed. Now the assistant is in Lilyville, I am packing as I write and fear for the baby, she kicks in the womb as if she knows the imminent danger. I fear we must leave today, but most of all I fear we may never come back.
I swallowed and a chill, not from the cold, ran up my spine. I quickly flipped the book shut and ran up the stairs, grabbing the bags but not stopping to pick up the bottle of hand lotion that fell from it. I reached my apartment door and swung it open after shakily trying to unlock it. I turned and shut the door behind me, then thought for a moment, still standing in the doorway, “Father’s assistant?” Torchic and Cleffa, the cute little things, came up to me and coddled my legs. I leaned over and picked up the small bird and cute pink thing, then left the groceries back near the door as I sat down on the couch and flipped open the mission book. “What page?” I asked Cleffa. Cleffa held up both hands then waved them both in five circles. “Page ten? Alright,” I flipped open to page ten as Torchic and Cleffa leaned in to look, “A Planner for a Scanner…it says there is a scanner in the Abandoned Ship…we’ll get 400 funds upon completion…and there are Wailmers, Barboaches, Feebas, and Magikarp there…” Cleffa jumped down from my lap, and the little pink puff waddled into the bedroom. I looked down at the bird, still in my lap, then looked up as she came back in, carrying my pokedex. Cleffa handed it to me and I traced over the top where my dad had made a sticker, just for me. The sticker showed the two of us with poochyena as an egg. I sighed and flipped over the pokedex, looking at the back of it I felt the rugged lines of the initials I had traced into the plastic using a sharp knife. TT+RT. I can’t remember what the R stands for, but I know it was my father’s first name. Cleffa and Torchic cooed, rubbing their heads against my cheeks in some sort of poke-caress. I leaned back in the couch and picked them both up, then placed them on my knees. I bobbed my right knee up and Torchic chirped, then I lifted my left knee, and Cleffa laughed. The two were delighted as I closed my eyes and kept them bouncing on my knees, “Cleffa hush…” I whispered, falling asleep as the laughter of my pokemon died away with my sorrow.
The landscape passed by quickly, the trees and river all a blur as the train traveled over the mountainside. The car was empty except for myself and two other passengers, the night sky glittered as we passed under it, on our way to Route 108. The other passengers, a mother and her five year old daughter, had fallen asleep, but the mother not quite, she stayed awake to stroke her daughter’s jet black hair. I turned away from them and looked out the window. I looked out the window at the river below, the one that would eventually drain way into the waters ahead, the same waters that harbored the Abandoned Ship. The train’s conductor turned on the intercom and spoke in his raspy voice, “…attention passengers, we are approaching Route 108 and the Dewford Town train station, please get your belongings and prepare for your next stop, thank you for riding the Rapidash Train and have a nice day…” I blinked, and when I opened my eyes I saw, through the refelction of myself, Dewford Town. I stood up and took my bags, throwing on my trench coat as well, before finally waiting in the seats closest to the doors for the train to stop. When the station finally came in sight the train had already started to stop, it took about five minutes for the train to cease movement and I stood up, allowing the mother and daughter to head out the door first.
Dewford Town was bustling for such a small town. Especially since the Train Station had been built. I took off from the train station and headed to the docks where I had reserved a boat from my Father’s old friend, Freeman. When Freeman found me in sight he dashed towards me then embraced me in one of his lung emptying bear hugs. I smiled as I looked up into his shining blue eyes, framed in many friendly wrinkles. Freeman pushed me back, but held me at arms’ length as he assessed me, clutching my shoulders as if he might die if he released me. “Why, Talliessa! So good to see you, it really is, I am so happy you’ve decided to visit!” I smiled and looked him over as well, he still looked like the same uncle that had visited us many times before my parents had disappeared. His hair was graying, but you could still see that peppered hair underneath the graying, his eyes were a deep sapphire blue yet didn’t seem to hold much intellect as much as it held years of kindness and true yearning for companionship. He was bulky and strong, which made his hugs all the more of an embrace.
Freeman and I set sail at noon the next day, wanting to get to the Abandoned Ship before high tide could claim the lower half of the ship. Freeman led the ship over the rough waters as I clutched my bags close to me. Freeman looked back and smiled at me, I smiled back, though not as big for the sea bumped us up on one large wave, “Woah!” Freeman laughed as he managed to just barely get the boat under control. Suddenly, over the horizon we saw the boat, broken in the near distance. “Here we are!” Freeman turned the boat off and we stepped out onto the Abandoned Ship’s deck. Freeman climbed back into his own boat and handed me a walkie-talkie, “Call me when you’re ready to go! Bye Talliessa!” I watched as my foster father went off into the seas, then I turned around and walked into the ship. I looked around as I walked in and sighed as my imagination wandered, imagining things that could have sunk the ship. Suddenly the radio buzzed and I heard Freeman, “…Talliessa! Hey, I have something else for you…there are several cabins in the ship, only number three is unlocked, though I don’t know if you need a key to get into the others…I’d look around….good luck!...” I thanked him then walked down the steep incline of the ship, back to the end of it and found a deep area of water where I supposed the lobby of the ship would have been. The low tide allowed for me to see the six cabins below, and I quickly spotted cabin three. The door was open slightly, I looked around the edge of the water and found the stairs. I ran up the forty five degree incline of the ship and arrived at the stairs breathless. “Aww, jeez!” I panted, looking down at the water, “Better catch my breath…” I filled and emptied my lungs, then took one last breath, a big one, then climbed down the stairs to the water and dived in. I opened my eyes and looked around at the blurry setting then headed towards cabin three. I kicked the door open all the way then swam in and rose to the top of the room, the top of cabin three had been blown out, so there was little floor from the upper level. I swam up to the leftover floor and climbed out of the cold water.
As I caught my breath I leaned back and set my hands out behind me to lean back, but as I set my right hand down I felt something cold and steely. I picked up the key and looked closely at it, inscribed on the side of it was Room 1. I threw my head back and breathed in deeply, then plunged back into the water. I swam up to cabin one and fumbled with the key as my air ran out, I finally got the key in and had to kick the door open then swam in, the same had happened with room one, the ceiling had been blown out, but it did look recent so I came to the conclusion that people had blown the tops for such exploration purposes. I climbed onto the floor and did the breath routine. This time I actually looked on the floor for a key, and found one, plus some trash I figured I could leave there. But there was no scanner so I continued on to room two. Room two was the same routine except for when I realized the door was slightly hanging from the hinges, but still required a key.
Inside room two I found the scanner, under a broken bed. “Wonder what is was doing here?” I said, I took out the walkie-talkie and called Freeman, “Hey, Freeman,” I said, clearing my throat, and rubbing my left eye, “I got the scanner, come and pick me up before the high tide comes, big guy!” I turned around and jumped in surprise as a Magikarp stared at me, “Well, hello little guy!” I laughed, unhooking Mightyena’s pokeball from my arm, “Nice to see you, go Mightyena!” Magikarp looked at me intently as Mightyena appeared, “Easy out, Mightyena, go easy on this guy!” Magikarp moved its fins but did nothing else, “Mightyena, use Bite!” Magikarp blinked as Mightyena attacked it, but the Magikarp just hovered there in the water and I wondered if this Magikarp really was worth it. “Mightyena use-!” Magikarp suddenly burst from the water and began to Flail around on the ground. Mightyena whimpered and backed into a corner as Magikarp got closer, “Mightyena! No don’t-!” I closed my eyes, more out of embarrassment rather than horror as Magikarp attacked with Flail, “It seems I’ve underestimated you, Magikarp, Mightyena! Shadbowball!” Magikarp flew back as the Shadowball hit, sending water flying everywhere, including on the only one dry, Mightyena. Mightyena growled and shook off the water, “Magikarp’s weakening! But don’t take him lightly!” Magikarp burst from the water again and tackled Mightyena, “Curses, Mightyena, use bite again!” Magikarp dodged and Mightyena tripped, falling into the water. “Mightyena!” I dove into the water and struggled to pull him from it, Magikarp met us at the surface and I leered at it, “Mightyena, return!” Mightyena sighed with relief as he returned to his pokeball, “Now it’s your turn! Cleffa!” Cleffa jumped out of her pokeball and the cute little girl jumped up into my arms, “Cleffa! Be a good girl and get in there, it’s your turn to battle!” Cleffa jumped from my arms and faced Magikarp.
Magikarp was the first to…attack, using Splash. I looked at my pokemon and shrugged, “Use Pound!” Magikarp was attacked and I threw up my fist in triumph, but the battle wasn’t over yet, Magikarp attacked my pokemon with Tackle and Cleffa was sent back into the wall, “No!” I ran up to her and helped her up, but she was okay so I let her run back into battle, “Finish it, use Water Pulse!” Cleffa hesitated, then attacked, the attack had little effect on Magikarp, but it was enough for me. I took out an ultra ball and threw it at the weakened Magikarp, the ultra ball fell into the water so I reached in and grabbed it. The ultra ball ceased to move and I sighed with relief, “Nice job!” I said, returning my pokemon to her pokeball. I looked down at the water and realized that high tide was coming in. “Gotta go!” I dived in and swam for the surface, outside, Freeman was waiting for me, “Took you long enough!” he laughed, starting the engine. I climbed in and we went off towards Dewford Town. “Did you find it?” I nodded and looked down at Magikarp’s pokeball, “And something else…by the way, captain, my name is Tally!”

Taking turn after turn, Ike followed the hallways leading the team to the wide shaft the cannon occupied. The closer they got to the extremely tall, wide room, the more the temperature rose. Ike wiped the sweat from his forehead as he finally found the door to the cannon room. The door had been blasted apart, burnt at the edges. Beyond it, the struggle between Maddy and the admins could be heard. It was if his memory had told him 'no'. He took a step forward toward the door, but stopped immediately. He closed his eyes tight. The memory of that stormy flight... Ike and Lugia doing their best to reach the HQ, Maddy not to far behind them, lobbing flames at them. The pain that caused. What the virus had caused her to do to Celebi... it all still hurt Ike so much.
He just stood there before the blasted door, clenching the temples on his forehead as if he had a bad migraine. He didn't want to do this. The struggle between Maddy and the Admins could be heard ahead.

MISSION- A Planner for a Scanner Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to the Abandoned Ship and get the scanner. Pokemon: Magikarp Wailmer Barboach Feebas Funds upon completion: 400 ---------------------------------------------------------------- I'm gonna say pass, though for the length of the mission, more battles would've been nice. You gotta watch the capitalization though. This time, there were only a few whoopsies but it was good. Also, Sahow Ball is a two word attack, both words being capitalzied. Keep the 400 PD and the Magikarp and remember to keep up the good work! ^.^ Cody appeared again behind Sammy. "I'm sorry I keep disappering. I should be good now."

"Ike. We have to help her." Ginji reassured the leader. "They're doing what she did to Celebi, only worse." the boy said as he looked at the sad shape of the door, her never was one for quiet entrances. Gathering up the strength around him, he kick what was left of the door inward.

Nothing was worse then that. spoke a voice in the back if Ike's mind, He barely heard it, and it was a quiet, somber, yet ambitious voice. Ike took a sigh and ignored it. "You're right. Let's do this." he said, stepping through the blasted door, ready for anything.

Cody waited for Ginji to enter, then followed. It was his girlfriend, anyways. He kinda had a right to go first. Standing behind Ike, he mentioned, "What if this all comes crashiong down on us and we fail epicly?"

Happy wasn't a word going though Ike's mind. He remembered the time the team time traveled and saw the HQ in the future. He remembered that bronze memorial to the team. He hoped this isn't what lead to that memorial.

Cody quickly unclipped Aipom's pokeball from his belt. It was now or never. Do or die. And he definately was NOT ready for the second one. He had worked way too hard in Aqua to give up and let this whole operation come crashing down on top of them. They would win. They would excell. They would come out on top. And Shadow would fall to the endless depeths of darkness from which they came. "Sounds like a plan to me!" he shot back the same smile to Ginji.
