Oh Jesus Christ. Hard Mode. I habitually put games onto Hard right away because I think I'm a pretty good gamer, but when I first played that game... No. Just, no. Not the way that combat and the level design is in that game. Not until after I'd FINALLY figured out how to make my character good.
Granted, at the end even with all my impenetrable armor and my massive sword, it was my rogue who won the day by molesting ballistas. xp

But, but, but... hard mode! crying Clearly I need more artillery in my party or something, because Alistair dies like... immediately. My party at the moment is (dwarf warrior), Alistair, Morrigan, bard lady. I'd rather use the mabari than Alistair but since this whole Redcliff thing is Alistair's segment of the story I figured I should have him for the cutscenes.
...that and Tenkai promised me that if I kept him in my party I'd get to have him killed later.

I play on normal ever since getting to Redcliff and having to fight the skeleton army twelve times before I got lucky enough to beat it.
Then again, I didn't realize at the time that there was a handful of people you could add to the towns defenses by running around and saying the right stuff to them.

Well, ********. Apparently I'm doinitwrong then. Or doing it right. Very right.
...I'd like to think of it that way.
Most of the fights that I can't win I have to resort to b***h tactics in. Like drawing in half a group and having my archers fell them before they get there, then rushing their archers whom I hopefully haven't drawn aggro from yet.
