The stick serves as a focus for magical energy.
Theoretically, its not necessary.
Sometimes, it can even be a crutch.
PS: Good move, Starry. Staying on the ground would not have been advisable.

I would interpost myself into this worm battle, but I know I'm not going to be on much longer and don't know when you'll be on next Az, and I don't want to tie anyone up in battle pause land. For that's worse than regular pause land.
