Ugh I hate going to the dentist. It's either getting braces tightened or a good cleaning.
I've only had shots twice in the same day...that was when they took out my two bottom teeth (the pointy ones, the third ones down or whatever). All of my cavities were small enough to simply put a filling in.
But I hate fillings...I can feel the thingies going into my nerves. gonk
And braces...hoh...nooooo fun. crying I'm always getting new ways to put my rubber bands in, one time I had four in the mouth at once. crying
I always come back in pain from the dentists. xp

Worst thing is that no matter WHAT They are doing, from cleaning to fixing cavities, they always use shots to numb your mouth now >< When I had one tooth pulled, they didn't use the shot and it only hurt once, and not even that much! I don't see why they stopped using numbing cream >< I hate when they clean my teeth, I hate the noise, I hate stuff in my mouth, I hate ALL of it! And I've always hated shots so it just makes me hate the dentist more! I try to avoid the dentist whenever I can.
And braces suck, I'm glad I got mine off like 2 years ago. But the rubber bands and metal rings do suck >< I had to have 4 of each as well... And it always hurts too...tightening them and the wires...It hurt abit taking them off as well... .___. Dentists make me cry T~T

Unknown Variable I had braces for 5 ~ 6 years. 8D I had them a year and a half to 2 years I think...I can't remember actually... XD I know I had a retainer for a while at first and for a while at the end too though. I hate the dentist myself gonk I've actually, haven't had cavity before o_o' I have some decay in one tooth, but it's not active enough to be a cavity apparently. I have this slit of my gum that I can lift up in the back, and that's why the decay is only sometimes o_o' I'm scared to death of getting the shot in my mouth though, because they need to cut the slit in a few weeks actually.
Has anyone so happened to have moles/laser surgery and had this shot in the mouth before? Because the shot for removing moles/laser surgery REALLY hurts and I'm really scared T___T The dentist said it won't be as a heavy dose shot as they give to people when they get fillings, but I'm still incredibly scared.
The thing is, because of medical problems and such, I've had tons of shots, so it's not I'm afraid of getting shots in general. I'm just, so afraid of pain numbing medication.
I was in braces for 2 years, and I don't wear my retainer much....I really should though.
@Vin- My dad would do that if he could gonk heart We have like a light war with the neighbors, and doing that would be something he'd get his kicks off..*bookmarks to show him later*

Eclipsed: The shots aren't bad at all. Sorta feels like a poke in your mouth. Just force that part of your mouth to relax, and you'll be just fine. n_n
Just hope you're not as sensitive to mouth numbing as I am. A half dose of the shot makes my ears go numb even. xD;

That's a relief, thank you, Alex ;-; heart Poking I can handle. I'm alright with getting blood test sdown and stuff, so if its anything like that I'll be fine.
The medication, I believe, they used on me before was lignocaine. At first, it feels like a normal p***k, but the medication itself made the inside part of my body feel like it caught on fire and that my insides starting melting. It was really bad when they put it in my thumbs, but thankfully, when the used it on my back, it wasn't nearly as painful.(probably because your area near your nails are REALLY sensitive)
Yeah, I might be really sensitive to it like you are x3 I tend to be numb for HOURS after I got the lignocaine. I actually remember sitting in math class poking myself where I was injected saying"hahaha I can't feel this". Then, around 5 hours later for the same teacher and I was still doing that. Of course, that time I went "haha I can't fe-...ow...hey, it finally wore off xD"
