"Could to." Lily told him indignantly. "Well, maybe. For a short distance, anyway." she ammended, then laughed. "Okay, probably not, but i could try."
"Well, I won't hurt them." Vincent told her gently. "It's a good defence for you to have. Can I see them?"

She nodded. THen she held out her hand and brought her claws out for him to see.
"How are you going to trim them?" she asked him curiously and nervously

"The same way I trim my cat's." Vincent answered soothingly, taking her hand in both of his, lightly stroking the skin as he examined the claws. "It won't hurt, sweet. It'll feel kind of like cutting your nails."

Arlen set Lily down by the bed. "If you want to take the ring off so we don't lose it I'll understand," Arlen said. "I don't know how we could get it resized though."

Lily looked down at the ring, then smiled and found the chain that had the pendent for keeping an eye on Cerri on it. She took off the ring, then slipped it on the chain as well, fastening it around her neck. "There...and I can get it resized when I go into town to pick up the Yule gifts." Lily smiled at him him, gave him a light kiss, then grabbed a pair of pj's and changed.
"Well, I don't want to do it tonight...I don't have the right tool thingy. I'll grab it tomorrow, okay?" he murmured, then kissed the top of her hand. "You'll just have to be gentle until then."

" He made it hurt back here"s eh said as she pushed back her skin a little bit reveling more of the claw.
"What tool are you gunna use?" she asked curiously
"I promice to be gentel" she said happly and kissed his neck agin purring

"That's good," Arlen said, averting his eyes as he removed his shirt and changed into his pajama pants. "I love you, Lily," he said laying down on the bed.

"Well, this mage loves nekos, the one in his lap in particular." Vincent murmured, kissing her forehead and holding her close. "And I'm going to use the same thing I use on my cats; it's a nail-clipper designed for feline claws."
When she was done, she bounced into bed beside him, then snuggled close to his side. "I love you too, Arlen." Lily murmured, then smiled and kissed his bare shoulder. "Even if you are shy." she teased one last time, then put her head on his chest and closed her eyes.

Vincent smiled and kissed her sweetly, then held her against his chest. "I don't mind scratches when they come from you, sweet, especially in the heat of the moment."
Lily fell asleep soon after, a peaceful expression on her features, one hand wrapped around the ring he'd given her.

Vincent grinned and nodded, then stood, bringing her with him. "That, sweet, sounds delightful." Carrying her, he headed to the door, pausing before he exited and kissing her again. "We'll break in the bed." he teased as he opened the door.
