Scanning the pitch for any signs of the golden ball. If he could spot it before her Gryffindor might stand a chance. Glancing over at the stands he spotted Shayna which put a smile on his face. And it's not easy to be meJacob would have wished for anything but this storm, but had to play through it anyway. This was even more evident when the whistle blew and he shot up into the air. He went after one of the bludgers, hoping to give it a good whack. The target? Darius. He needed to get some of the other beaters out if David wanted a shot at catching that snitch. AC: 17

When the referee blew the whistle and called the start of the game, Dominic kicked up from his position and launched nearly fifty meters into the air above the game to catch a keen eye on the bludgers. One soared towards the Gryffindor side, and Jacob had claimed it first, missed, and then it landed in the hands of Darius, another bludger launched towards their side of the pitch and Dominic whipped his broom around to chase it. He narrowed his body and leaned against his broom to gain speed and banked hard to cut off the bludger, in one fluid motion he turned and raised his bat to knock it into the bludger at an angle, straight for Elli.

Christian Barrett Crash
Third Year Gryffindor Keeper Crash hovered in front of the Gryffindor posts with his goggles fastened tight. His dirty blonde hair whipped back and forth in the rush of rain and wind, the dark clouds thundered and muffled the roars of the stands. He hadn’t seen any lightning flash, not yet anyway, though he was starting to wonder if that was because it was behind him. He didn’t bother to look and check, because the Slytherin team had taken possession of the quaffle and was already storming down the pitch in his direction. He braced himself and narrowed his eyes, keeping chocolate eyes trained on Eretria, or was that Amanda, that had the quaffle? All he saw was the flash of blonde hair decked in green and silver. ╔════▄▀▄▀▄▄▀▄▀▄══════════════╗

He followed after it though, his left arm tucked near his abdomen as he directed with his knees. He really should invest in something to protect his bones in this game. He got behind it and took aim at Darius again. AC: 17

Darius winced as the ball hit Elli and then followed by another one. Well it was too soon to take out the captain. He moved around looking for someone else to hit and he saw David. He could try and weaken the Seeker and try to help Jaslyn. He moved up to hit a bludger at David. {OoC:} Position: Beater

It was difficult with the weather being the way it was. Why did it have to be thunder clouds? Just then he was hit by a bludger and damn did it hurt.
