Luke held the kiss, but soon broke for air and smiled some. He had wound his fingers in her dark curls, running his fingers through it as he smiled down at the cheetah.

Taking in a deep breath, Kaya smiled back at Luke. She closed her eyes at the feeling of his fingers running through her hair. The motion was so soothing. It reminded her of her mother brushing her hair out when she was a little girl.

Luke smiled and kissed Kaya's forehead softly, stroking her hair more. It seemed to calm her. So the wolf laid there with her, stroking her hair and holding her close.

Kaya enjoyed just snuggling with Luke right there, and she leaned up to kiss his cheek. "Thanks... For everything. For appearing as a wolf... You really made it easier for me coming here."

Kaya raised her eyebrows. "Lady? Please. If I weren't anatomically a woman, you'd never be able to tell I was one."

The wolf nodded some, kissing her once more. "But you are. Which makes you a lady. And me a gentleman, and that making it my duty to cater to your beck and call."

Luke nodded and went over to the tray Kaya had brought with her. He was actually a little hungry himself.

Kaya stood, as well, standing beside Luke and plucking an apple off the tray, taking a small bite. "So. I certainly haven't told anyone, but there are rumors all over the place. How in the world does this castle find out about every little thing?"

Luke shrugged a little, taking a pear and biting into it. "Well, you did have a maid stop by. The maids here are notorious for their gossip." he said before taking another bite of his fruit.
