We are only allowed a maximum of 20 hours overtime due to gov't standards and today's work schedule would send me WAY over that.

i don't think it can....if he goes over a required maximum his boss would likely be blamed.
my little sister wants me to go on a walk with her. i think it's make my parents less mad if i did it....so i'll be back later.

The gov't would get very mad at me and our station and we'd both get fined and I would still only get payed for the first 20 hours overtime.
