"Kitt, they'll make it," he said, a little louder. "If anyone can make it, they can. And we already did, which means they will. I'm sure of it," he lied.

She sniffled a little bit, and Anatoly realized that she had been crying. Heavily.

Blaine didn't respond, he just continued to scrub at his legs. Now the hurt was coming. He winced in pain as he scrubbed and sighed. It would have to do for now, most of the blood was gone except for the gash. He forced himself to stop scrubbing and tied the towel around the still-bleeding wound. Was that...bone? s**t! It was deep! And it hurt! Blaine did his best to compose himself. New clothes did sound nice even if they were someone else's, and he definitely needed pants. He inspected the clothes quietly, making sure they were clean.
Being convinced they were such, Blaine forced himself to forget that they were someone else's and pulled on the pants. They were a little long and a little baggy, but that was fine, confy. He grabbed his belt and put it on. The towel wrapped around his leg was covered, but Blaine feared getting blood on these jeans as wel, so he rolled the pantsleeve up above the wound. He slid into the shirt, quite comfortable and large, and grabbed his old shirt before leaving, it was his favorite shirt. He left his jeans behind as he limped out of the bathroom, using the wall as a support.

"Come on, Kitt, they'll be okay," he continued, more softly. "Don't you trust..." No, wait. "Don't you trust them? You know they can make it, right? Right?"

She nodded slowly, wiped her nose, and looked at him. Her stare was one of the most intense and piercing gazes he had ever felt.

She waited by the front door of her house. A little girl was crying, and she was NOT the comforting type. Not the kind girls liked. And she was always uncomfortable with the crying thing. You just don't cry in public. Ever. But this girl didn't grow up in this neighborhood, so she couldn't know.
Her excuse for not being there for this mushy moment? She was waiting for Blaine. He slowly managed to get to the front door where Sarah was waiting. "Dude, you can barely walk. Here," she took his arm over her shoulder to help him get to the car. "Don't worry about getting blood on those jeans. They're yours now. Do with them whatcha want."

As Blaine shambled over to the front door, Blaine glanced over to Anatoly and Kitt. He felt the need to go over and try to comfort her, he was generally good at that (children often said they liked his eyes, though he hates it when they mention them), but he thought it better to get to the car.
Not having much energy to object, Blaine accepted the help without argument. He sat in the car and got as comfortable as he could. His breathing was still shallow, and he was shaking once more, but that was probably just him going into shock.
"T-thanks." Blaine said quietly, "I appreciate it."
He left the jeans as they were, still unwilling to get blood on them.

"I really do mean it," Anatoly said, trying to believe it himself. He forced a smile, tried his best to make it look authentic. "They'll pull it off." He slid back. "I'm gonna grab more food now, okay?" He returned to he house with the ice cart and groaned quietly. He began loading tubes of Nutrispread into the ice cart.
Nutrispread had the taste of wet cardboard, the consistency of toothpaste... and the nutrients of nearly a full meal. It would be a grim necessity in their future, he suspected.

"No problem, dude." After helping him in the car, she went around to get back to the driver's seat. Nathan's head was on it. "...greaaaat." She shoved him up so that she could sit in the driver's seat. But to be nice, she let him lay on her lap. Again. So weird, but hey. I doubt this is ever gonna happen again.
Kitt had already gotten in the car, so all they were waiting for was Anatoly. When he got in, she started driving. "Right. So we're going to this dingy little motel that no one really goes to. Not that great, but definitely not as bad as some of the others."

LaineBlaine was becoming increasingly dizzy, his vision began to blur, and his body was feeling light, almost numb. He groaned, "H-hey...does anyone...have a Mend Mysticker?" he asked. His words were slurring and he spoke slowly.
He sighed, "I...I can see the...bone in my leg...I'm pretty damn sure...that that's not...good."
Blaine smile faintly and laughed weakly.
"As long as it's clean...I'm fine!"
He laughed once more as his head rolled back briefly.

"See the- Blaine, what the ******** did you...? Uh, let me see," Anatoly complained, trying to see what Blaine was referring to.

Blaine pointed to the towel around his leg. It was starting to turn red from the blood. He chuckled, "I think...I think it's from when...you accidentally hit me with that attack...my leg musta hit a rock or somethin', a BIG POINTY ONE!" he explained, spreading his arms out and laughing tiredly.
A combination of shock, blood loss, and tiredness had made Blaine just a little loopy.

"Damn it, man, you should've told us earlier." Anatoly was doing his best to contain his irritation. "We could've taken care of this at the house. Does anyone have a Mend of some type?"

((I hadn't realized that we left))
Blaine sighed, "I'm sorry...I thought I had it...under control...I didn't want to be...rude, you know?"
He groaned as he leaned back and closed his eyes. "Mendy, Mendy, mend..." he began to sing quietly to himself.
((goodnight all))

Sarah felt an intense feeling of wanting to smack Blaine upside the head. "Dumb a**. I get the macho-ness. I don't get the being rude. Next time, be rude." She started driving a little faster. "We're close to the motel now. If someone doesn't have any mend stickers right now, then we can buy some when we get there."
Once Blaine started singing, she worried over him. And Nathan's unconscious self. And Anatoly's sanity. And Kitt's crying. Dammit, I'm not equipped to deal with this s**t. But hey, it could have been worse. They could have all been crying. Rather than say anything, she focused on getting to the motel. They could all recharge there safely.
