Mitsu look a seat next to Kasiya, the milk crate being rather large. A MooMoo Milk sign was inverted on the side. She looked at the little Charmander. She looked adorable and reminded Mitsu of Nitro. She missed that big ole Charizard and Mike, well, the Mike that she remembered. The one who was kind and caring and loved playing the hero, not the . . . mess that was present at Slateport yesterday.
"We've all had bad days," she replied gently hoping that the cliched line would irritate the girl. Mitsu didn't make any moves, not a touch to the hand of a hug. The duo sat in silence for a moment before she spoke again. "You can always tell me what's wrong," she added. Sometimes all a friend needed was someone to listen to them after all.

"O~~~~k! Let's end this one quickly Mismagius, no need to be too flashy now. But still a bit of dazzle ok! Mean Look Mismagius! Don't let that cutie pie escape now!" Kenneth said with a wink as he waved his hand in the biggest arch possible before pointing at the Hard Shell Pokemon. Musmagius just gave an extremely eerie grin that matched her glowing blue eyes as she darted around in a swaying motion. Her gaze locked onto Pupitar's and when she had him directly on her sights the blueish glow of her eyes shot out directly at the Pupitar.
"Damn, move it Pupitar!" But Pupitar was to late. Mismagius moved quickly and the aura hit his body leaving the mark of her eyes on his shell. "Alright then, I've got a fair idea what comes next. We'll just have to take Mismagius out before that. Pupitar, Bite." Pupirat felt a bit odd from the Mean Look, but other then a slight feeling of imprisonment he was unhindered. Venting air from his body Pupitar shot at Mismagius like a rocket. It was unclear to Crenu exactly where Pupitar's mouth was, but so long as he could pull it off it didn't matter.
Mismagius almost looked like she hovered in place, not really giving the impression of a pokemon trying to dodge an attack as she stood her ground. Pupitar latched onto one of Mismagius's arm like protrusions that hung by her body, the dark energy causing a very sharp pain to shoot through her body. "Oh no no no no that won't do, will it Mismagius?" He said with a wink. "Let's go, shake him off and sing us a dreary melody with Perish Song!" Misdreavus giggled darkly as she began to violently spin around, sending Pupitar soaring through the air before rising up higher above the arena. Mismagius gave off a sense of doom as she sang out with a haunting melody that was oddly entrancing. No pokemon on the field could resist the song of doom that Mismagius sung so elegantly with her natural glow.
"Pupitar Bite once more! We've got to finish her off before the time is up!" Pupitar knew what his trainer meant. The moment the song entered his ears he could feel it draining away his energy and would soon finish him off. Pupirat shot off again again aiming for Mismagius's throat. This was the very same pokemon that had pestered him in the past, every bit as annoying as her trainer. The duo clearly did no good for Crenu, so Pupitar would to everything to solve his problem.
"Oh no not again!" Kenneth said again still smiling as Mismagius took another heavy bite attack. This time Pupitar latched onto her body and got a solid grip, it was a good hit that hurt her quite a bit. The dismay showed on her face as a good chunk of her stamina was taken by that attack. But she soon regained her creepy smile. "Oh Mismagiu~~~~s, let's be good neighbors and share with them ok? Use Pain Split!" Mismagius started to laugh more menacingly than before as she prodiced a crimson aura that spread around her body and onto Pupitar's as well. She grinned as her stamina slowly returned to her, though not completely, and watched as Pupitar's energy was leeched away from him.
Crenu thought it strange that Ken was letting Mismagius take those hits so easily, and now he knew why. Kenneth was a big a pain in the a** as he'd always been to Crenu but he couldn't deny that in a battle Ken knew what he was doing. Still Crenu wasn't going to yeild so easily. Pupitar felt a terrible burning sensation through his body as the crimson aura overtook him and robbed him of his energy. He felt the pain that Mismagius had felt from his attacks and as felt himself taking on her burden. This opponent was scary indeed, Pupitar was forced to relinquish his grip and fell to the ground hard, more determined than ever. "Pupitar, Rock Slide now, crush that floating pest!" Larvitar was more than happy to carry out this order, concentrating hard on the earth around him and causing it break apart and rise up into the air. The very next moment there was a shower of earth and stone heading straight for Mismagius, and both trainer and pokemon were curious to see how Ken would react.
Kenneth and Mismagius didn't appear to lose their composure even though the rain of stones came at them. "On no no no dear Shiro, you'll have to do better than that. Mismagius, use Protect please." At first it almost seemed like she wasn't listening as Mismagius looked on at the falling rocks smiling happily. One of them even flew right by her before she actually made her move, producing a bright green barrier around her body that pulsed lightly everytime a piece or rock or earth hit it's surface and bounded off. She looked so magnificent giving off her eerie purple aura that shone through the green sphear of protection. This was always a crowd pleaser, and it made Ken smile.
"Damn....Pupitar you have to break that Protect and knock her out now! Bite now and give it all you've got!" Pupitar could feel it too, this was the end for sure. That song that had cursed his ears before was really making him suffer now, but he couldn't give into it yet. Pupitar looked up at his opponent and got ready to attack, but something strange came over him that was new. The energy he'd produced for the Bite attack was still there, but it felt somehow...different. Rather then launching himself at his opponent Pupitar's instincts told him to stay put and instead, focused the energy in fron of him. Before he knew it, Pupitar had fired out a shockwave brimming with dark energy at Mismagius. He looked forward with awe, unsure of what he'd just done. Crenu was equally surprised, this was not the attack he'd issued. This was...this was again something unkown to him which made it unreliable. But this is what he had to work with so there was no use complaining.
Mismagius watched confidently as the dark blast made contact with her Protect and washed over her, aware if the danger that attack posed. But the barrier was growing weaker and was already at it's limit and for a breif moment Mismagius showed signs of concearn as the bubble cracked. Within seconds the Dark Pulse shattered the weakened protect bubble and bathed Mismagius in it's dark energy causing her severe pain, but a heavy portion of the attack had been blocked and she was much tougher than the Pupitar was at this point. When the attack passed, she grinned giving her trainer a quick wave. Ken got the message and smiled brightly. "Well that does it for her, so sorry Shiro dear but you put up a good fight with cute lil' Pupitar there. Mismagius return, take the spotlight my sweet Seviper!" With one motion Kenneth spun aroudn and recalled Mismagius, sending another pokeball into the battle field which released a healthy looking snake pokemon with a sword for a tale and very large fangs. Seviper hissed happily, ready to take on the next victim.
"Crenu acted quickly, pushign the button on Pupitar's pokeball and sending out the return beam, but it was no good. It just bounced off of the Hard Shell pokemon as the Mean Look symbol remained on his body, though clearly fading. "Damn it, I couldn't best him after all. Pupitar, this is it, you couldn't pull it off. But you can still make an impression on that Seviper thing. "Rock Slide." Pupitar felt the weight of shame fall on his non existant shoulders, he had failed to pull out a victory. But this was no excuse and as was commanded, he would go out with a fight. Pupitar again put his mind on the rocks and earth around him and sent another downpour at Kenneth's second pokemon. He didn't get a chance to see it do it's damage however as his sight grew black and he fainted, a victim of the haunting melody that cursed him.

"Wurmple, Ta--oh, wait..." Rick trailed off, thinking hard for a moment before deciding on a move. "Okay! String Shot!" He commanded, and for the second time that day Muuma was covered in the stick string, and her speed was lowered.
Leon would've rolled his eyes, or face-palmed had he really cared enough. But, all in all, he just wanted this battle to end so he could make it to Petalburgh without, hopefully, anymore bothersome interruptions. "Muuma, finish this with a Psywave," He said boredly. The Misdreavus nodded and sent out the multi-coloured rings at Wurmple, and the Pokèmon let out a little cry before falling over, fainted.
Rick recalled his Pokèmon without a word, but looked at the PokèBall afterwards and said, "It's okay, Wurmple. You did your best." He then put the PokèBall away and looked straight at Leon, jabbing a finger at him once again. "I'm gonna get really strong and beat trainers like you!" He announced, a fiery determination sparking up in his eyes.
"Good luck with that," Leon said, walking forward to continue to Petalburgh, Muuma floating alongside him. As he passed Rick, he lifted his left hand and ruffled the kid's hair a bit. He had a lot to learn, but at least no matter what he had cheered his Pokèmon on and hadn't been a sore loser. Rick watched Leon go for a moment, then ran off to train his Pokèmon some more, thoughts filling his head of being an incredible trainer one day.

"Just around the corner? Lucky, you get to live in a big city, and you get to be by the ocean. Although Cianwood is really tranquil I guess. So I guess it was no trouble for you to get here. Hey, if you live here, that means you probably have one of the Hoenn starters huh?" Sam continued to babble on in such a fashion, not really caring if Riza or Serenity were actually listening. She just wanted to get the terrible image of Orion out of her head. She started to feel guilty. What if he had overdosed, and she was the only one who knew? She had just abandoned him. What if he suddenly collapsed? She fidgeted, and her breath quickened. She was suddenly very ashamed. She fell silent abruptly, and drank her root beer.

Riza had been about to ask Keegan about a dance again but before she could utter a word a very familiar blonde girl had stormed up to the table and had started shouting at Keegan. Unlike Serenity and Sam, Riza didn't cower or cringe, but instead she glared angrily in the other girl's direction though her harsh look faded after the last statement. 'Lies? Team Rocket? I knew there was something there he was hiding,' she thought, recalling Kirlia as the psychic-type had recoiled a bit due to the sudden influx of negative emotions. She turned and watched Kasiya disappear through one of the side doors and sighed slightly. 'Maybe I was wrong about her and the whole situation.' When Keegan got up as well she was certain he was going to follow after Kasiya but surprisingly he didn't, instead disappearing off into the crowd. For a few moments she just sat there, quietly sipping her 7-Up, vaguely aware of the chatter going on around her before she made a choice. 'Okay, that's it! I have had enough of those two! I'm going to find out what's up with them tonight if it kills me!' She stood up quite abruptly and picked up her purse, looking towards the other two girls. "I'm going for a walk," she told them. "I'll be back later."
Riza wove her way through the crowd, mumbling angrily to herself as she went along, though after a moment or two she decided that it would be impossible not to spot Keegan as his bright red hair was a dead giveaway, though the many people in her way might add to that difficulty. Finally she spotted him standing off by himself, holding an empty long stemmed glass and staring off into space. "This doesn't look like the bathroom," she said, her tone neutral as she approached him. She really didn't know what else to say that wouldn't set him off, so she settled for the direct approach. "What happened back there?" she asked, genuinely concerned. "And what did she mean about that Team Rocket stuff? It's time you told me the whole story, Keegan," she said, keeping a firm tone. * * * * * "Charge, huh? That could be dangerous," Katie mumbled, though she was still sure Genki could win this. "Use ember again," she called, after a moment or so of thought. Ember had a chance of causing a burn after all though she wasn't counting on that kind of luck. The Monferno jumped up and sent another flurry of embers towards the Luxio. He didn't like the look of the electricity that had covered its body and he wanted to avoid contact with it if at all possible.

It was pretty much the last straw when Riza took off after Keegan. Sere couldn't take any more of the drama. 'I have so had enough of this.' She stood up, trying not to show just how flustered she was. "I am sorry Sam. Perhaps another time." She said to the poor girl who had sat down with them.
Serenity took off to find Alex. She found her sister chatting up, unsurprisingly a ridiculously handsome man with blonde hair and a suit that could only have been made especially for him. She only heard a bit of the chatter, but it sounded as though Alex was trying to get the man to make her an egg. The manorisms of her sister however, were making her blush. Alex always did have a weak spot for men. Though a quick glance to the other woman at his side, showed that Alex's behaviour was not appreciated by everyone.
"I am going home." Sere said breaking into the conversation. She was only slightly aware that everyone was staring at her. "I'm s-sorry." She said looking at the man and his date.
"Excuse me? We haven't even been here that long." Alex hissed. She gave a quick smile to the man she was talking to. "Excuse me one minute." Alex pulled her sister aside. "What do you mean you're leaving? And lets not even talk about what you just did."
"There is too many people here and too much drama. I don't want any of it. I'm going home. You know where to find me." Sere said. She managed to keep her tone calm dispite the fact that many of the people her sister were just talking to were not staring at her. She twisted her arm free from Alex's grasp and stormed out of the contest hall.

"Oh...well okay." Sam sat there for a minute. She was wondering if perhaps she had scared them off. She wasn't sure what to do now. She certainly didn't want to go interrupt Orion. She watched Serenity go, and talk to someone. Must be her sister. She also saw Riza and Keegan off somewhere. She breathed a deep sigh. 'Now what?' she thought to herself. Maybe she could try and find Mr. Kuljis. She scanned the tables, but to no avail. It seemed he had left too.
She sat at the table for a long time, thinking about what had happened today. It certainly had been a crazy day. She thought back to slapping Orion. Her heart filled with shame. ' I can't believe I did that to him...Me, who always said never to use violence.' Why had she slapped him? Was it simply because he had stolen her medicine and had nearly killed himself? 'Or maybe you were just sick with worry, and he didn't seem to care.' She shook away the nagging voice in the back of her head. "Who asked you..." she muttered. A lady passing by gave her a look.
She leaned back in her chair, feet up on another. She felt very alone. She didn't dare release Star or Miles. The egg wasn't much help, although it did comfort her some. By this time, she had lost track of Keegan, Riza, Serenity, Orion, and the girl who looked liked Kasiya. 'Who was that anyways? What was that all about, her snapping at him, storming off...Riza seemed to know.' She suddenly remembered the conversation she had had with her mom. ' There was a Rocket attack in Slateport yesterday! They must have been there! That was why Kasiya had bruises on her, and why everbody seemed a little on edge.' It somehow comforted her that she wasn't the problem, even though she had suspicion she was at least part of it.

"Dad sure seems on edge today," Mia hummed to her Floatzel, "I wonder why that is." She skipped from the Move Tutor's home, making her way back to the gym. It was getting rather dark outside and she figured that her father would want her home. Not that there was a terrible amount of crime in Pastoria, he was just like that. "Well the sky is finally not crying anymore, so how about giving Scuttles and Tangelo some fresh air?" she said to Rhyme, who didn't seem to be paying much attention to her air-headed trainer.
She grabbed her Pokeballs, one in each hand, from the belt that hung conveniently around her waist. She tossed them into the air, crossing one another in an X-shaped formation. Quickly materializing was Tangelo the Tangela and Scuttles the Skorupi.
"Skor," was all the little Poison type muttered before scuttling behind Rhyme. He wasn't much of a chatterbox, and was a chicken sometimes. "Aww, Scuttles!" Mia cried picking up the scorpion Pokemon, giving it a tight hug before setting down the poor and now squished creature.
"Jello!" she shouted, her voice filled to the brim with enthusiasm. She gave the pile of vines a hug as well before setting her down. Her eyes peeped through what looked like thick blue hair and stared at her trainer before speaking, "Did you know that stressed is desserts spelled backwards?"
Mia, who by now was already playing with Scuttles again simply replied with a confused "Huh? What? Where, who, how?" She blinked and then smiled at the Tangela, "What did ya say Jello?"
"Hi," she replied, blinking her eyes, completely unphased by her trainer's ditsy mannerisms.
"Oh! Why hello to you too my dear Tangelo!" Mia replied flashing another thousand watt smile. Rhyme's expression was priceless and clearly read "Am I the only sane one around here?"
Mia's smile soon transformed into a look of terror that shouted, "Help! I'm chocking! Gaaaah!" Rhyme, the perpetrator, was tugging on Miyamaru's scarf, unknowingly sealing off oxygen from Mia's lungs in the process. "Right, right," she said coughing and standing up, "We've got to head over to the gym." She fixed her scarf and brushed off some dried mud from her boots before skipping merrily on her way to the large red roofed building. "Tally ho!" she cheered, pointing towards her father's gym and leading her trio to their home.

Kilik had wanted to follow Mitsu out of the building, but he figured it was a girl thing, and decided against it. Adjusting his monocle, he headed down a hallway. Lots of people were chattering amongst themselves, asking about their newest breed, or their most prized Pokemon. The boy overheard someone talking about how a friend of theirs in some place called 'Solaceon Town' had just bred a batch of starters for the Professor. Huh? Kilik thought as he passed, So Rowan has his starters specially bred? I wonder if that means they'll come with some sort of move... He scratched his chin.
He entered a room full of familiar Pokemon - all native to the Hoenn region. There was an exceptional looking Treeko, as well as a oddly colored Trapinch. "Oh hey!" he laughed, looking at it, "Once it evolves into a Flygon, I wonder what it'll look like..." He was happy to see so many Pokemon in one place. It was sort of like the Beach Party, only much more formal and minus Team Rocket. A chill went down his spine. Team Rocket ruined his relationships with his closest friends, but also somehow brought him closer to Mitsu, who made him very happy.
He put his hands into his pockets and walked out of the room. He had hoped to hear a bit more about the Sinnoh Region from those old folks, but they had moved on to another room. He mentally kicked himself for taking so long in the Hoenn room, but shrugged it off. "Once I get a Chimchar from Rowan," he whispered while he looked down at his feet, "I'll be ready to go. I regret not catching very much while I was here in the core Regions," a sigh escaped him. "But I'll be a catchin' machine in Sinnoh." Soon, I'll be a more formidable rival for Mike. Look out, buddy, cause I'll soon topple ya.

(( Skipping to tomorrow morning~ ))
Mia woke up stretching her arms and legs. A loud and almost obnoxious yawn escaped her smiling lips. Oh! It was sunny outside, she could tell from the rays of sunshine beaming through her windows as if they were some sort of space laser from a space ship that would abduct her to outer space! Sun meant that it was going to be a good day. She swung her legs over the bed and quickly got dressed.
Last night had been rather odd. After arriving at the gym her father had made her battle one of his trainers. She was beaten, though not terribly badly. Rhyme, as usual, had thought that her trainer wasn't putting in sufficient effort. Dad still seems weird, wonder what's on his mind she thought idly, wrapping the scarf around her neck. And why he made me pack stuff, like I'm going away or something. She put her two large hairpins onto her blue hair before doing a once over in the mirror. She smiled and blew a kiss at her reflection, cute as a button!
She slung her backpack over her shoulder and stepped out of the house, locking the door, before making her way over to the gym. It was a rather short walk and Crasher Wake was always there early in the morning. "He's such an eager beaver," Mia giggled to herself. She flung the doors open, taking in the fresh scent of the water themed gym. No one was really there yet, except a few extra hands that were setting up the gym's puzzle for the day, which she knew by heart. "Hey dad!" Miyamaru greeted giving him a quick hug, "You wanted to talk?"

Tyra nodded at the badges. She was impressed at the progress made. She was sure she could take on a Gym Leader and get some badges, but it honestly didn’t seem to interest her at this time. Neither did doing the job for the professor. She knew she was going to be a mindless wanderer and it didn’t seem to bother her one bet. “Training is always good, but you put up a good fight back there though.” She stated with a smirk “I need to go back to Olivine to heal up Freya before heading out. Care for the company?”

Crasher stretched and let out a massive boom of laughter. "That's it, mis amigos!" He barked. As he was a large guy, his voice was low and seemed to shake the very foundations of the Earth whenever he spoke. "No, no, that flotation device goes over there. You know that! Ay, ay, ay caramba..." He placed his large hand on his head, shaking it. He removed his luchadore mask, and sighed. What good was being a wrestler, a world famous Luchadore for that matter, if he hardly knew any Spanish? It seemed that his workers weren't following exactly what he was saying either. When he heard the Gym doors open, he pulled his mask back on and swung around quickly.
"Ah! My lovely daughter, Mia!" He walked over and picked her up tightly, but he felt that if he held her any harder, she'd snap in half. He put her on the ground and cleared his throat. "You may be wondering why I'm in such a bueno mood! It's because you're finally going on your own Pokemon journey!" He placed his large hands on her shoulders. They were practically twice the size of her body - Crasher Wake was a gargantuan man. He was 6'8, 331 pounds, and could bench three times his own weight. A loud roar was heard behind him as his Gyarados crashed up through the water. A few of the workers scattered like cockroaches in the light. "Aaah, Gyarados!" he groaned, recalling him. "I let you stretch out, not scare the workers!" He tucked the ball into his pocket.
"Anyway, dear," he knelt down and was still a few inches taller than his daughter. "You must leave this town. I've got to stay since I'm the Gym Leader, but you have such potential! Please, listen to your father and vamanos!" Wake turned her around and pointed out of the building. "Understood?"

By the time Riza had caught up with him, Keegan had already grabbed himself another glass of champagne, though he slowly sipped at this one, for the time being at least. He let out a sigh as the raven-haired girl approached. He figured that she would be the one to chase after him and try to get him to talk. He didn't answer her right away; he just grinned wolfishly and continued to sip his champagne - after that first glass he realized that whomever was hosting this soiree had gone all out for it because this was the good stuff. "Well," he said finally, pretending to be interested in the stitching on his sleeve, "apparently I'm an idiot, but I'm sure you already knew that." He stepped aside as a larger man in a rather loud, purple outfit passed by, and drained the rest of his champagne before placing the empty glass on the tray held by a passing waiter.
He sighed again and glanced at Riza. "I'm going outside, you coming with?" He waited for an answer for all of two seconds before he was already heading towards the doors, reaching into his pockets and withdrawing his pack of cigarettes. By the time he'd made it outside he was already in the process of lighting one, completely ignoring the dirty looks he was receiving from people around him. He walked right out to the street and sat down on the curb as he took in a long drag, then watched as the bluish smoke billowed out around his feet. Why is nothing ever simple? he thought, flicking a bit of ash onto the ground. She made her choice, why won't she leave me the hell alone?! ===== Miharu smiled politely and snapped the badge case shut as she placed it back in her bag. None of those matches had been easy, and she knew earning the rest of the Johto League badges would be no cakewalk either. She nodded at Tyra's suggestion. "Sure thing. My Pokemon could use a round of healing as well." She grabbed her backpack and stood up her bicycle. "Shall we be off then?" she asked, already beginning to walk.

Tyra nodded as she watched as Miharu took the lead. Wouldn't want to go up against her just yet, another time maybe. Tyra thought as she knelt down to pet Hunter as she gathered her stuff in her bag and slung ht over her shoulder. She was thankful Olivine wasn't far at all she wanted Freya and Jiro all healed before roaming.

The gym's preparations were going according to schedule as the normally did when she entered, the few hired hands looking a bit out of place and flustered at the complex gym set up. And of course there was her father's Gyarados whom she loved dearly. It was such a big Pokemon but oh-so fun to play with! She giggled as she thought of swimming with the massive water serpent.
She was brought out f her day dreams though by her father's booming voice. He always spoke loudly, even if he didn't mean to. Mia blinked as she was turned around quicker than light, barely catching the words he had spoken beforehand. "Buuuuut daaaaad!" she whined turning back around, "I can't leave Pastoria! It's home!" Her mind paused but her mouth kept repeating "and and and" over and over until she another thought. "And the town needs me! Who else will cheer up old people? And play with the kiddies? And help out at the marsh!" She took in a deep breath, quite clearly exaggerating. "I can't leave dad," she replied with a pout, her arms crossed in a non-aggressive manner.
