Sirea Angelie Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I'm happy to thank you for the happy Thanksgiving, so happy Thanksgiving, thanks. Or something. My family actually ended up decorating some wintery-looking gingerbread houses. Thanksgiving, everybody. The one that my sister, dad, and I made collapsed because the roof 'bread was too heavy. On the plus side, it was delicious. Seriously. Every year or so I rediscover how fantastic gingerbread is.

Apparently there's also going to be an Assassin's Creed movie and at least one non-numbered Star Wars.

FFVII Remake, Ni no Kuni II, Star Ocean V... Next year is looking pretty great. I don't know what to think yet. It'll certainly be flashier, but will it be better? I'm worried that they'll cut out content (because the newer games, while fancier and sometimes less buggy, tend to have less stuff in them). Basically, I hope they don't turn it into FFXIII. I could go either way on the gameplay that we've seen so far. Yep, real-time(ish?). I hope that they keep the depth of the original (Materia, summons, Limit Breaks, etc.). More importantly, I really hope is that they don't abridge or arbitrarily change the story in stupid ways. I'd be okay if they fixed a few inconsistencies, fixed translation mistakes and kitsch ("this man are sick," "TEXAS"), made "secret" characters join up automatically (if Tales of Destiny's remake can do it, this one can), and (YES) cleared up a few things relating to the Compilation of FFVII plotline. Perhaps most importantly, did you notice that Barret looks less like Mr. T and more like Morpheus in the trailer?

Perhaps most importantly, did you notice that Barret looks less like Mr. T and more like Morpheus in the trailer? From what I'm understanding is that they're going to release it as a multi-part series rather than releasing all in one volume. Since the original game had alot of content in it, I think they want to aim to explore more on some of them, hence the multi-part series idea. They wouldn't be able to fit everything in one volume...least that's what I think. Yes, 'Miss Cloud' is making a comeback in the remake too. xd That would be great too, maybe explore more about the Ancients/Cetra, about Minerva, and perhaps find out what happened to Cissnei since Crisis Core, and perhaps learn what become of Genesis during the FFVII time point. Of course, Aeris would be Aerith now. I'll still call her Aeris though. I know there's a certain scene not everyone is gonna look forward to seeing again in the remake. I just thought he looked awesome with those shades on. And I can't help but picture him in that sailor suit with those shades on. XDDD That and seeing Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie again is just so awesome too. XD

I'm kind of annoyed about the multi-part thing (episodic game bandwagon much?), but if they use it well to tell the story instead of just using it as a cash grab, then it's probably fine. Anyway, just imagine the possibilities! Spoiler Alert in GLORIOUS HD! It's like your tears are real! As for Bigs, Wedge, and Jessie, it's interesting to actually see what they look like without all of those polygons. Or, uh, with a lot more polygons. Graphics.

I can actually understand the multi-part thing since FF7 itself is a long game, and releasing it as one big game would mean that some content would have to be cut out. They do intend on adding some extra scenes and the likes. I personally feel that they really want to put effort into the remake. Just leaves the question as to how far each 'episode' would go. Yes! I wouldn't mind seeing the motorcycle scene again, Red XIII's attempt on standing on two feet, the summons, and the weapons....Especially Ultima Weapon. XD I would love to see the sword it drops in the remake. So many possibilities! Let's not forget the chocobos! XD Improved graphics? XD

ShadeKyubi Anyone expecting snow this year? It snowed once in November over here, but it hasn't since. I'm concerned. Not just because of climate change, mind you. Mostly because where I come from this is just a delay of the inevitable. Christmas in July just became that much more literal.

I just got Cloud in Super Smash Bros.! He's definitely a lot better than the Ike clone that I expected!
Come to think of it, he's seriously good. He's likely going in my usual picks (Toon Link, Lucas).
