Sammy grimaced. "Nothing happened to me, but a lot happened to him," she sighed. Mr. Ginji really needed to get out of here. "What do we need to do?" She now had a serious expression on her face.

Ike took a small first aid kit and started bandaging some of Ginji's wounds.
"I'm not leaving until we get Maddy and Celebi back." Ike told Sammy. "Ginji will be fine. He's just over exhausted. We all are. But we have to stop this cannon before they fire it again." he told her. Last night he found out where their next target was. "They're going to strike Aquos Island. The cannon's disabled for now... so that gives us a little time..."

"It's deeper in the mountain. I've already seen it. You can't destroy it just by ripping it apart. I think someone with the virus needs to neutralize the energy before the thing can be destroyed. Thats why we'll need Maddy." Ike answered.

Memo woke up in a daze realizing he had fainted at the sight of the horrifying Tyranitar
"Uh....Ralts you ok?"
Memo asked worridly
"Ralts Ralts =)"
Ralts was fine and had protected Memo along with Sammy and Ginji
Memo Healed his pokemon and ran off in a hurry hearing Sammy deeper in the base
"I fail at life..."
Memo said running towards Sammy

Maddy was exhausted. She couldn't land a hit on any of the admins, and so far she had taken enough beatings to last her a lifetime. She was covered in scrapes, burns and bruises from where she had been hit with fireballs that had enough energy to throw her into the walls and various equipment scattered everywhere. She was on her knees, panting, trying to get up.
Josec walked over to Maddy and kicked her in the stomach. He smirked as he watched their former leader collapse fully to the ground. "Face it, you've lost." His hands flared up with purple fire as he readied himself for the finishing blow.
Maddy lay on the ground. She was sure one of her ribs were broken by now, and there were two lines of blood trickling down from her mouth. She ignored Josec's words, her mind racing.
I'm only at 50% power because Cyrus managed to stop the virus from spreading to the other half of my body... She flinched as she endured yet another kick from Josec. The only way I'll have even a little chance of winning is if I...
She didn't even take time to think about it. Closing her eyes, she gave in to the virus, not bothering to fight it. She grimaced as pain shot through her whole body, but it didn't matter. Tears ran down her cheeks as she looked up at Josec, both of her eyes bright purple. She knew that this was the end for her, no matter the outcome. With blinding speed, she grabbed Josec by the ankle with her left hand, her sharp nails digging into flesh, and hauled him to the ground, her left hand flaring up with fire. She smirked as Josec cried out with pain.
"I know I'm not going to live through this. But I'm taking you bastards to Hell with me!"

Inside Ginji's head a battle was raging. A narrow strip of white surrounded by a sea of black. On one side stood the Ginji of Aqua, and on the other side was more or less Ginji's outline, highlighted by the white of the strip of what appeared to be land. After several seconds of staring at each other, the black one spoke.

"You don't deserve to be King. Let me give you my power. Together we can make them all pay. Together we can triumph. We could watch the world burn." it said in a sly voice.

"And what happens when there's nothing left to burn? What happens if we aren't strong enough?" Ginji said as he raised his hand. He didn't feel like fighting, but giving in seemed like such a good option.

"You need more power if you're going to master Darkrai." the shadow said. "Heh. You could barely beat the Tyranitar in your current state. Where is the power going to come from?" The shadow raised its hand questionably.

"I-I don't know." Ginji sighed out finally as a tear rolled down his cheek. He was scared now, his current dream, his current ambition, his current life was coming to a close. Was this a new chapter? A new realization.

"You'll always have me." the Darkside side as it showed a blood red smile followed by bright white teeth that lured you in with a faint glimpse. At this statement Ginji's eyes brightened as he found the answer.

"My friends are my strengths. They're the one thing you could never take away from me. My one ounce of hope. They're where my power comes from!" Ginji yelled as a bright flame engulfed him and forced the darkness of the sea of disperse into a bright light.

Eventually the boy woke up. "You dragged me all the way Sammy?" he laughed as he sat upright.

Ike watched as Ginji got to his feet. The ginormous hall everyone was standing in was shaking from another battle taking place somewhere deeper within Shadow's base.
"Glad to have you back." Ike told Ginji.

"Glad to be back." Ginji smiled as he finally got on his feet. "Anyone see a Pokemon Healer thing or PC? I'm all out of usable Pokemon..."
