Well, originally the Sharingan was about copying jutsu and reading movements. But instead it turned into the biggest godmod of all time. And the story used to actually be about the world of ninja. Missions and sustaining a stable home as a military power. Not "Flex and see who's muscles are bigger".

Edo Tensei. It was broken through just because it was one of the 'precious Uchiha'. When earlier in the story, consciousness wasn't even possible. They weren't supposed to have ANY personality in Edo Tensei.

BnW: It's a good thing you aren't trying to play the crew hand. Because that doesn't work with me. But they are followers for buying into EXACTLY what Kishimoto wants them to think. Saying that isn't being disrespectful. It's pointing out what they have obviously done. As for Itachi's tactics.. atleast 50% of them were made possible only by the power that the Sharingan bestowed. Alot of my arguement is against the Sharingan. I hate cheap cowardly techniques.

while under that technique they lose control of their body and mind. And Itachi regained control through a fluke, he used shisui's eye to save sasuke. Instead it was used on himself. It puts them into a genjutsu and makes them "protect konoha" and since that was already itachi's state of mind he became normal. So dont say s**t. And what do you even mean by believing exactly what they want you to believe? I think the guy who writes the story has a much better grasp on things then you. So when he makes Itachi or any other ninja for that matter seem like a badass, and call me crazy, but its probably because they ARE!!! and yes Qyp you are correct. Which is another great point. The technique actually used by orochimaru did get rid of all personality traits using these talisman things. Kabuto prefers using a weaker version of that and leaving them with a little personality left for both a psychological advantage against the enemy and so each revived person would use their own creativity and knowledge to increase effectiveness in battle. If you paid attention at all to the manga maybe you would know this s**t.

Naruto is like any other manga... starts off with petty enemies... and gets more and more intense until their is god-like fighting going on.

Well, at least the fantasy/Sci-Fi based ones.
