Hermione- Don't be scared. The upperclassmen generally stay away from girls if they do actually have it, but at most schools, people just threaten everyone and scare them, and never follow through. You'll be fine smile . I used to be freaked out too.
biggrin . I remember how scared I was in 7th grade to already be taking one of my high school assessments that determined whether I graduated or not. I'm sure you'll do marvelous smile .
Hehe, okay I'm gonna try this, Steph- Kay, here we go, I did it. Really? You have a day of just freshman? Pshh I wish. All we got was like an hour long orientation that was very boring and half of my teachers weren't even there.
You're allowed to dress like that in your school? Lucky! Towards the end of the year we could get by with flip flops and a tank top with the sort of thicker straps (if a cami was under it) but that was it. The tenth grade VP was a mean lady. She yelled at me the second day of school. Thank goodness she follows the grade ahead of me to become the Junior VP because I wouldn't of be able to take her screaming smile .
Yeah! Junior friends! I found that the juniors at my school this past year were pretty much all nice and they had some mighty fine looking guys. mrgreen Pshh.. there is this one guy who will be in my choir class next year (Cause I recently made the advanced choir) who is simply gorgeous. Oh wait, there are two, forgot about one. Plus they are both nice and funny and incredible singers. It'll be fun next year! wink

Suze: Pretty much. My school is so big they really cant enforce it. I honestly cant wait for the slacked dress code. Yup its a half a day too, so its somewhat like a get to know day.
Oh I know what you mean! Haha, I can't wait for the who social aspect of high school, new people...new boys. You know? haha. I know I have one class already from this amazingly genetically blessed boy, who I'm on really good speaking terms with. Its bound to be fun!

Steph- My school has 2250 students in it, but the VPs stand at the door as we walk in. And then some teachers were way uptight too. razz It sucked.
Out of the nine high schools in my county, mine is the only one that has people going to it from ALL different places because you have to apply to get in. Thus, there are a lot of new people so it's not the same guys we've seen since elementary school. biggrin Tehe, sounds like you'll enjoy yourself razz

Suze- Thanks smile . Haha it sounds kinda weird though. My friends are gunna tell me all about it though so I'll be prepard haha. Oh, at my school we wear a sort of uniform. Like we have one, but we don't need to wear it all the time, kinda like in Harry Potter. Haha. But being at a boarding school, its pretty easy to stay on good sides with the VP's and stuff. Most of the tiem that is.
Super- We are changing school's because another one is opening and alot of new people are comming to mine! Ha. I can't wait.

I'm so glad I don't have to deal with school anymore. Just gotta go to work, and deal with things. But I handle it pretty well, for the most part, so it's not that bad.
For now my day schedule goes as such: Wake up Feed cat Work Lunch More work Break More work Mum comes home Even more work Dinner Feed cat Wash up Go to bed Wake up and do it all over again.
But seriously, to everyone still in school, especially going to high school, I hath this advice: ..... DON'T WORRY! High school isn't ANYTHING like how they say in movies. Yeah, on the rare occasion you get the jerks that are mean, but that hardly ever happens. And if it does, either walk away, tell someone, or hire a hitman. smile And I wouldn't really recommend that last option, because they can be expensive.
Good luck to all school goers in Gryffindor.

Hermione- I've always wanted to go to a boarding school, don't know why. That's cool. It's always good to have people prepare you.
Aqua- Hehe. Yeah, there still are a few girls who think they're all that here, but for the most part, it's pretty good here. smile

I went to boarding school as a freshman and sophomore! I loved it! It just got a mite too expensive for my family and me. But my fondest high school memories are of that place. *reminisces wistfully*

AAAHHH TOO MUCH HAS HAPPENED FOR ME TO REPLY TO ALL OF IT!!!
Anyways... one of the topics brought up were freshman beat day. In my school district, we call it 9th grade jump day, but no one ever really jumps anyone... It's mostly to basically get the freshman scared of the upperclassmen so they 'know their place.'
But I'm more concerned with college than I ever was high school, this crap is scary and it hasn't even started yet!

I just finished my first year of college Mia. It's really much easier and less stressful then you think. You can pick your teachers and classes and decide your future they way you want it which is really REALLY nice. The people are more focused on school and making life friends then popularity and who wore what when. I think you'll really like college!

In my head I know that, but it's hard to convince myself that I shouldn't be scared.

Trickster- Really?! That is sooo cool! I havn't met someone who has gone to a boarding school besides my school mates. Was your's in the US or out of the country? Mine was in London, England, but we often went to our sister school in South Carolina.
Mia- Hehe that sounds like what I'm gunna be like in my first year of highschool. I know that it's not going to be that bad and all, but it just seems worse than it is, ya know? Hehe.
Okay, I wanna like kill my brother. My dad get's these tester stuff from the CIA, no idea why so try not to ask hehe, and some of the stuff is like harmful to people right now, don't know why they would send it to house with a bunch of teenagers right haha, and my brother heated some of the hurtful stuff on a hot bar and put it aginst my lower back like right above the butt area. It only leaves a mark for like 30 seconds or so before it goes back to the regular skin colour, but it burns like CRAZY! the whole day. sad I have been working out all day too so it hurts even more hehe. During volleyball, people hit me there to say like good job and stuff and it hurts haha. Okay sorry bout that, just wanted to let someone know that would believe me, because my parents wont without proof, and the red mark was gone. Hehe.

Ello everyone. Its been quite a week for me...I've been diagnosed with depression, which I saw coming because its been this way for a while. Last night I finally got the courage to talk to my mom about it...and I did exactly what I thought I'd do, cry my eyes out. Now that I've told her I feel better, its kinda nice.
Anyway, summer gym is almost over! I can't wait...I should actually be studying I have three tests in gym tomorrow. (Yay three tests on my birthday). But we do go bowling in gym which should be fun.
Oh, I'm fifteen tomorrow. razz
@Mia: I'm the same way, I stress easily and then I get stressed about how I let myself get so stressed, haha.
@Shadow: Oh my gosh! Are you going to be alright?! That sounds awful! I scalded my arm a few days back. It looks like dark dried chocolate sauce. I hope you're ok!

Mia- I'm sorry once you get to college and get situated, it'll all be alright. smile
Hermione- That sounds like that really hurt. Just don't kill you brother. That will land you in jail smile .
Steph- Happy Birthday. I loved turning 15 cause there are all these songs about being that age biggrin . Tehe.
Did anyone hear about Michael Jackson dying? That's so sad for his poor kids and family sad
