"What happened to you?" she asked passing two fingers through his scar.

The touch, nor the voice elicited any response from Gohma, he turned to look at Mikyo again, willing him forward for the battle to begin. He could feel the eyes of Tokuno on his back, and he knew that if it would come to his death everything would once again go on.

Miharu looked at Gohma and Mykio again.
"What's going on, Tokuno?" she asked.

"A battle. A battle to the death," Tokuno replied lightly, as if the scene before him didn't matter, which of course it did not. If Gohma died, then that would be the end for the duo, and Tokuno would move on. They had all ready planned for this and so it could all continue if need be.
Gohma crossed his arms over his chest, waiting for Mikyo.

"Yes you will," Tokuno replied simply. He had no problems with incapacitating Rikku for this. One of the two men before them would die that die, and nothing could stop it.

Tokuno was unfazed by the push. He stared lifelessly ahead as well. "Because, it is not my place to stop this battle, Miharu. One of these men will die today, and there is nothing you can do about it."
