Focht spun at the sound of Lazial's movement and caught the punch in his right hand, moving his hand back and slowing it instead of outright stopping it. He grinned and brought his own armor clad fist into play with a quick jab at the man's stomach. It wasn't just a regular punch, there was a focused blast of wind attached to it, set to go off on impact and knock Lazial away.

Lazial: *He grinned when Focht caught his punch. As Focht's punch connected, skidded backwards with a loud grunt* you wretched little..... hehe.... I've alread won. *Focht would find his hand covered in some sort of silver and black residue from Lazial's glove*

Focht looked at his hand and then to Lazial.

"What the hell....?"

He started to freeze his hand, intending to solidify this stuff and get it off, his hand was already numb. Before he even managed to freeze it, his arm was numb and it was spreading.

"Son of a.."

He glared at Lazial, slowly dropping to his knees and slumping to the ground, unable to finish the sentence.

Lazial: Beautiful substance is it not? Celestial paralysis spreading like lightning with the help of an amplifying agent. *He walks over to Focht, whom was now on his knees* Just for that little shove.... *He brought up his armed hand and brought it down in an attempt to bash Focht to the side with the hilt of his sword*

Focht couldn't do much to stop it and was hit hard. Paralysis wasn't a good thing. Getting knocked away from Lazial a good 5 feet, Focht landed and rolled alittle like a rag doll.

After a moment, Focht sent a blast of air at Lazial in retaliation, it wasn't as strong as what he usually used. It was harder without the use of his body and required more concentration. At most it would spin Lazial around and remind the man that even paralized, Focht was able to do something.

Lazia: Keh.... fool. Hmm? Gah. *His cloak is taken off of him completely by the gust of air, falling beside him* stare You are a little troublemaker. I'll be sure to get a reward for you. *He moved over to Focht, ready to fight against any gust of air and reaches out to grab and lift Focht by his hair. Moments later, the two would vanish in a burst of light*

Focht managed to for a blade of air and send it at Lazial's ankels but they disappeared before it could connect. He remained limp in Lazial's hand as they vanished.

A violent tremor forced a pillar of earth to shoot forward, but unlike her usual attacks this wasn't ment to hit someone or something. This pillar was right benieth herself! The force of the earth propelled Rintala up, into the air, where she spun herself in a full 360 degrees then slammed down on a tree! The trunk splintered then exploded under the force of Rintala's stone coated fists. Half her body was covered in stone, actually. She was taking Serpent's advice...but not with the weaker side of the earth, but with the stronger. The sheer force of the impact snapped the tree in half, splinters of wood flying in all directions as Rintala planted her feet, firmly, on the ground. Crouching slow, using her left foot as a pivot point, she spun around and extended her right foor outwards. The heel of her right foot caught the falling tree. If she didn't have the 'earth armor' she wouldn't have done anything but hurt her foot, but with it...her strength was magnified to levels she could never have dreamed of! Again the tree broke apart, splinters and chunks of wood flying through the air and were soon followed by the bulk of the remaining trunk as it plowed through the trees. Rintala had been awake all night and morning doing this...she was determined...she wouldn't give up!

A few minutes after the tree was fallen another tremor struck the forest, and again Rintala was propelled into the air. She took a few minutes to admire the beauty of the forest from the elevated height, then slowly began to drift down towards the ground. As she did she brought her right knee up, to about waist high, and dove down towards the tree. As she neared closer to the tree she lashed out with her right foot, strikeing the tree about mid base. There was a loud thump and Rintala was propelled backwards. She thought the tree withstood the attack as she struck the ground, but it was just a delayed reaction. An entire chunk of the trunk just exploded! The top half of the tree, or what was left, fell down and hit the ground with a loud crash. Dust flew up into the air and Rintala figured now was a good time to experiment. Dust was just tiny grains of sand picked up by the wind in large amounts. She could control the sand, to a degree, so maybe she could control the dust. Holding both her hands up, sweat dripping from her face, she struggled to catch every single tiny peice of dust. A few moments passed and Rintala had finally caught them all, the plume of dust remained motionless. She was so proud of her accomplisment she completely forgot what she was going to do. She was just happy that she did something so complex so quickly!

Irvine strode down a worn path through the forest. He flipped the collar up on his coat and dug into his coat pocket. He withdrew a pack of ciggarettes and pulled one out. He stuck it into the corner of his mouth and put the pack back. He dug into his coat again and pulled out a lighter. He flipped up the top and lit the butt of the ciggeratte. He withdrew the lighter back into his coat and contninued on. He inhaled deeply on the smoke and blew the fumes out his nose. No more tears rolled down his cheeks. And they never would again. For Irvine had lost the only thing he would ever feel sorrow over. But instead of moping and brooding he decided to move on. He did so by removing his name...

"Irvine Gray is dead and buried....Verge Zenith is reborn from the ashes."

With that Verge continued down the path. He inhaled the fumes once more and blew the smoke out his mouth while walking through it. Verge was already deep within the forest when he was suddenly stopped. An invisable force had him immobilized. Verge continued to try and move. Try as he might though, he couldn't move. He looked around to see who would be foolish enough to try and stop him. Suddenly cold air washed over Verge. He was surrounded by darkness. His silver and gold eyes scanned the blank forest trees for who it was he was looking for.

"Lucifer..."

Harsh, coarse laughter rang out through the air. A man wearing all white stepped out of the shadows. He was average in build with a bald head, a white suit, white leather shoes, and glowing red eyes. Verge was confused. Was this really Lucifer? Just as the thought passed through his head he was answered.

"Not quite. See I am Lucifer, just not the one you know."

"What?! Thats impossible! I made a deal with the one and ONLY Lucifer to never bother me again! So leave!"

Suddenly Verge was in the air, held there by Lucifer. He felt his throat constrict and he choked and coughed, desperate for air. Lucifer stood there smiling sadistically.

"Verge, Verge, Verge....I told you I was Lucifer. Execpt I'm from another dimension. Another reality really call it what you will. I have a deal for you-"

"Forget...It!"

The grip around Verge's neck tightended. Lucifer shook his head from side to side.

"Tsk, Tsk, Tsk. You interrupted me. How rude. Didn't your mother teach you any manners? Oops! Ofcourse not! She's dead in this reality isn't she? She is in mine though..."

Verge's eyes widened and Lucifer knew he had finally caught his attention. He dropped Verge to the ground. Verge let out a wheezing gasp for air. Lucifer continued talking while Verge sat on the ground gasping for air.

"Now that I have your attention, I guess I should explain a few things. As I said before I am Lucifer and I come another dimension. One where I have managed to turn the tides against God. The Black Company has literally become the last beacon of hope for the world. Every other place is overrun by demons. In my reality you and your little friends have managed to stop me from taking full control over the world; and I must say its getting quite annoying."

Verge had managed to get his breathing under control and began to laugh as he staggered onto his feet.

"I'm glad to know that I'm pissin off the right people in other dimensions too!"

Lucifer backhanded Verge for interrupting him agan and for his impudence. Verge fell back on to his knee and looked up at Lucifer with a vengence burning in his eye. He wiped the blood off his lip as Lucifer continued

"Now I've been watching you for quite sometime Verge and I think your the one who can help me most. Your perfect for helping me eliminate you."

"Say what?! You want me to kill...er...myself?"

"Well not you per-say but you know what I mean. You could take you easily. See in my dimension your not as you are now. Though you probably knew that after I said your mother was still alive. She actually helps out at the BC. She's the b***h that keeps the barrier there going. Anyway, do you remember way back when you challenged Xol for a fight to the death? Remember how you lost? Well that didn't happen in my reality. In my reality you won but instead of killing Xol you became friends, much like you are right now. With everyone's joint efforts you were able to kill Mastema once and for all. Thanatos was never able to be created in my dimension so the possibility of him ending our exsistance was erased. Thats when I took my chance and was able to open the fiery gates of hell. After I split open the world it was just a matter of time they reached your little part of the playground. See TJ left the BC and both 9 and Focht were killed. So thats when you took lead of the Black Comapany. Strange huh? You, the leader of the BC. Mr. Anti-Social now the ring leader of the entire circus."

Verge was stunned. It was all so hard to take in. The two sat in silence for a few moments before Verge finally found he was able to speak.

"So tell me...why should I help you? Why should I kill...myself, and help you take over the world?"

"I said I'd been watching you. I know your weakness Mr. Zenith. If you don't help me she will die."

"You son of a b***h!"

Verge moved towards Lucifer but felt another powerful backhand across the face. He fell to the ground and looked up. His cheek was red and his silver and gold eyes were glowing with a faint hue. He remembered, however, what was at stake and shook it off. Lucifer looked down at Verge with his eyes still glowing.

"Well then Mr. Zenith?"

"....Fine....Just leave Kuro out of this!"

"Done. Now come with me. We have a ways to go. And you have people to kill."

Lucifer turned around and raised his hand. His hand glowed with a black hue and suddenly he brought it down very quickly. Suddenly there was a tear in the the fabric of reality. Verge watched in awe as he saw several different realites in the tear. Lucifer stepped up to the opening and turned towards Verge.

"Coming?"

Irvine nodded and stepped into the tear. He was suddenly whisked away to some unknown dimension. Lucifer followed next. As he stepepd through the tear closed and nothing but silence was left. Silence and a cold forest floor.

Collapsing to the floor, once again, Rintala drew in deep, hoarse, breaths. Trying to steady her breathing, her chest rising and falling with each deep breath she took, she quickly let the stone cold power of Ayndr slip away from her. The warmth of the life giving light soon filled the void that was left by her 'strength'. She took a few minutes to really appreciate the gift she had been given, even if she didn't like how everyone still looked down at her. It would change though, soon enough! She began to day dream, despite the fact that the sun was already set and the crickets were chirping their little hearts out. She was standing back at her school, the school yard bitches laying at her feet, covered in their own blood. She saw herself holding their still beating hearts in each of her hands, and in one mighty squeeze crushed them both! She watched as Jimmy, a boy she had longed after for so long, was torn from the ground and ripped apart, piece by piece. She still thought he was the cutest boy she had ever met...but after the way he hurt her...she would never forgive him! If she found a way home...correction, when she found a way back home, she'd crush them...she'd use her new gift and show them that she wasn't just some weakling to push around and beat on when ever lust filled their body!

Suddenly Rintala's breathing became faster, her sweat covered face twisted in unspeakable rage! She felt something lift her up, barely takeing note of the line of earth she had created to push her to her feet. Standing back up she turned to the forest around her. Huge chunks of earth were torn up, trees lay half torn off their trunks or completely severed. Her entire began to shake as images ran through her head.
~Lights...lots of them, blinking very quickly. Red, green, blue, yellow, they were all so bright and it was making Rintala's head hurt. Then a face appeared, smileing and holding a hand out. She felt her face flush with embarassment as she took the hand and let it lead her out to an open space of dancing. She felt her body move with the music, letting the gentle stands of lyric and melody sweep her along as if she was dancing on wind. Her lungs burned, her legs ached, and sweat coated her entire body. Finally the music subsided and she was pulled away. She felt the slickness of leather under her, heard the gentle creaking of the faberic as it held her small frame. The face, still not really distinguishable, held something out for her...a glass. The contents were a golden bronze color, and it tasted very familiar. She drank deeply from it, and soon the world began to spin again. Something happened, because she woke up alone...cold...hurt...and naked. She could still feel the chill running across her body as she pushed herself back to her feet in the cold alley way.~

Rage continued to smolder inside of her, and the soothing life giving light wasn't just pushed aside, or moved around, it was torn away. Her hair seemed to be pushed on a gust of air that didn't exist, and a deep, chokeing, aura surrounded her. She couldn't see it, but she could feel it around herself. It was angry, and it matched her own anger! Her rage and sorrow was being fed into something...but she still didn't know what it was. It wasn't fast, or hungry, enough to devour the amount of anger she had bottled up inside of her. Large chunks of earth were torn and thrown upwards as stone and a metalic colored mineral surrounded her body. First it started at her feet, slideing up her legs and comeing to a point, jutting off her knee cap when she knelt, then continued up to her waist. There it slid over her stomach and chest, then to her shoulders where it spiked out at the back. Three spikes, each one jutting out to the side then curving slightly backwards. Her arms were surrounded in the metalic mineral, shineing in the moon light. Her head remained bare, her golden hair being thrown, viciously, around in the night air. Her eyes barely held any sanity, only an uncontrollable, unspeakable, and untold rage! Weakness was far from her thoughts right now, training was the last thing on her mind, and the earth was nothing more then a tool! A tool to be taken and molded to one's will!
PostPosted: Mon Feb 21, 2005 7:27 pm

The metalic mineral on her arms still crept downwards, slowly at first, then suddenly, very quickly, a blade sliced out of her wrists. The metalic mineral formed two katars, blades attatched to one's wrists, on her wrists then continued onward to finish building a type of gauntlet. Chances of her remembering how she did this in the future was slim to none, but she didn't care about the future, she didn't care about the present, what she did care about, and what made her maddest, was the past! It haunted her, making every wakeing moment a nightmare. Pain shot through her body and she grabbed hold of it, bending it and twisting it. Something happened, something she hadn't expected, she blanked. Her eyes suddenly glazed over and the power of Ayndr took over. The chunks of earth she had thrown into the air moments ago were now falling down, and they seemed to be dirrected right at her! There was a breif moment of pure silence, where sound seemed to have been sucked from the world, when Rintala lept from the ground. The shineing katars sliced through the air, making a soft howling sound as she cut throug nothing. Then there was a loud scratching sound of stone on steel as she sliced the first of the clumps of earth in half. As she did that she spun, a full 180 degrees, the axis of her spin shifted and soon she was no longer vertical but horizontal. Curling her knees to her chest, the twin chunks of earth barely passing past her head and bottom of her feet, she thrusted out with her legs, and fists. Both crumpled under the sudden surge of strength that Rintala's pure rage and raw emotions was granting Ayndr.

As the first of the three chunks were destroyed, she turned her 'attention' to the second. Her body was still spinning, but she twisted her body so she could get a good view of her target. Her blades sliced through the earth, once, twice, three times, and four! Her body continued spinning as a heavy stone boot suddenly collided with the chunk of earth, sending it explodeing in 10 different dirrections! When her boot struck the chunk of earth she lept off it, sending herself flipping backwards. She hit the ground with a loud thud, sending up a plume of dust. Despite the fact she landed she didnt' stop moveing, her foot dragged through the dirt, sending up a small plume of dust and dirt. The last of the chunks were baring down on her quickly, and she had little time to think about the attack she just did it! A pillar of earth lept into existance right infront of her, lunging at the chunk and strikeing it. Both the pillar and the chunk broke instantly, sending a shower of earth down ontop of her. A solid wall of stone sprouted up, just behind the pillar, and halted the assault of rocks and clumps of earth. Her rage continued to boil, but she didn't know what to do to get rid of it! It was burning...like a raging fire it burned her very soul! She wanted to cry, so badly, but at the same time she wanted to continue destroying. Breaking anything and anyone standing in her path. Crumpling down to her knees she let the tears come, ignoreing the fact that her entire body was weak with fatigue and hunger. Tears dripped down her cheeks, patting the earth softly benieth her. She could only mumble, between heavy sobs, "I'm not...I'm not weak...stop laughing...I'm not weak..." Images were still flashing through her head, and the continued to feed her anger. Raising her right fist, still on her hands and knees, she slammed it against the ground under her. A small tremor vibrated through the immediate area as she continued to pound at the ground. Angry at it because it didn't protect her. She could feel it protecting her now, protecting her from something deep inside of her, that same something that was feeding upon her anger and sorrow. She felt the spirit of the earth protecting her innocence from being corrputed by some dark force.
