Kane Doragon "I was bored..." That was all that escaped Kane's lips as he watched the dead shinobi below him and the bit of metal in his mouth shifting when his lips did. "And now... I'm hungry." Kane had only glanced at the man before but now was looking at him. Kane stands and faces the man. After a second he falls backwards on the tree branch and lands before the dead shinobi. Kane snatches the kunai from the ninja's body and shoved it into his mouth. "Your kunai has a strange aftertaste," mutters Kane sitting on the ground before the dead ninja. He begins digging through the ninjas possessions and examining each thing he found.

Sakazuki seemed to frown, then tilt her head to one side. She appeared confused at first, though that look soon ceased. “I see.” Though divination was not a strong point of the Circe, she would not question her fate. She only gave a nod, as if she had only now, began to accept Etheldreda as part of her. “Is the Library a horrible place?” She inquired, soon moving on to the next question. “You speak of it like it’s a prison.”

Shuku watched quietly as Mei’s face twisted, as if she were restraining herself from something. Her eyes glanced towards Katsu, whose form casually seemed to chaff against Mei’s. It was nothing sexual, that was for sure, but the cowgirl’s expression still seemed to elude the Mayonaka. She seemed amused… Yet, to restrain herself was rare for someone like the chimera. Was she… Trying not to laugh? “Mei?” She started quietly, unsure of whether this was the case.

While Alice washed her hands, the chicken had been prepared, and soon enough, it was tossed aside, the maid giving it several moments to cook. She looked back to Alice, then smiled as she approached the sink as well, washing off her hands. “It’s proper to constantly wash your hands when you’re handling different foods,” she recited, as if listing another rule for Alice to jot down in her mind. “But for now… Feel free to take a seat and take a quick break,” She added quietly as she took the chopped vegetables, sweeping them all into a large bowl with her arm.
“Is there anything in particular that you would like to cook?”
===

A breath of relief escaped the princess as Melona’s confidence as a mentor seemed to return to her. A clap soon resonated through the room as well and Menace smiled. So that was settled. “What else can you teach me, Melona-sensei?” That was the term that they used here in these parts, wasn’t it? Sensei? There were a plethora of others that the girl had heard before, but she had never come around using such strange terms in her own proper dialect. “Or perhaps there are more exercises we can do?” She added, still curious on what else Melona had to offer.
===

Echidna watched as her opponent was flung to one side of their little ‘arena’. However, rather than following up on the attack, she stared at her blade. It looked the same as before. There was no blood coating it, nor was there sap. Excellent. It meant the armor had been holding out. Her gaze soon moved towards the bone girl. “Quickly now…” She hissed in an all to pleasant tone as she made her forward towards the dazed girl. Soon, she raised her blade. “Certainly you can make more than merely armor,” she added, then brought the weapon down once more. It was now time to find out.
===

Sound…
Be it as a weapon or as a source of amusement, it never failed to disappoint her. The exploding rock was proof enough of that as she stared to the remains of the stone before she closed her eyes. “Haku… Let’s get out of here before I kill that son of a b***h,” she muttered finally, evidently able to gather a moment’s worth of self control as she turned away. In a way, it almost seemed as if she would’ve been dependant on Haku to keep her from destroying anyone… After all, she wouldn’t have doubted if the silver haired singer was stronger than herself.
Everyone else was.
===

Arriving at the first workshop that her internal map had suggested to her, Pan entered, quite pleased to arrive to an empty room. Upon stepping into the room, she detached her weaponry from her, allowing it to fall to the floor with a noisy boom. She didn’t seem bothered by the noise, or the weight evidently. The artillery, after all, was durable enough to take a little thumping like that, though in this line of work, it would be cumbersome. “V-13… If you would be so kind as to remove the plate on your torso,” she hummed as she hovered near the tool bin.
===

The Akimichi panted briefly atop the branch, a bead of sweat already making it’s way down the side of her head. However, as soon as she heard the cheering below her, she realized that she would need to keep up a good front… It would make her look good, wouldn’t it? Even if the Akimichi were a very humble clan, there were times when a little admiration didn’t hurt. “It’s a ninja technique!” She called down to Dizzy with a smile. Though, deep down, all the technique was was just really quick movement. “Can you get up here?”

Kensu woke up for the second day, this time he ate breakfast, and hurried out the door quickly, "School again! Bye!" and he hurried out, but he forgot to get his Short Katana, he muttered under his breath, although his parents hate it when he curses, "Damn.." then he ran inside with a glare from his dad, "Sorry.." he said, then he ran into his room, and grabbed his Short Katana, sheathing it into it's holster on his left hip. He jogged out of his house, "Bye!" and then he steadily walked down the stairs, but at the last step, he jumped off and did a somersault in the air. "WOOHOO!" and then he ran all the way to the academy. He rushed to Jabadaiya's room, then he slowly walked in, huffing and trying to catch his breath. "Hello Jabadaiya sensei! What will I be doing this afternoon?" He asked, then he sat in a chair close to Jabadaiya.
Jabadaiya watched as Kensu walked in catching his breath, and then Jabadaiya said in a reply, "You will be learning Bunshin no Jutsu, it's a jutsu that copies the user in every way if used correctly, but it is of no substance, so if it is even remotely touched by another ninja, it will be destroyed. Ready?"
Kensu replied, "Yes sir!" and then he waited for the hand signs.
Jabadaiya showed him the hand signs. "Those are the hand signs, you know the rest. Now go." [265]
Kensu did the proper hand signs, then he said "Bunshin no Jutsu!" and nothing, all he got was a head, "Uhm.." and then he tried it about 18 more times, and then [300] he finally got it after 19 tries. "Bunshin no Jutsu!" and then a perfect clone came out of nowhere, but he waited for Jabadaiya to judge it.
"Perfect!" Jabadaiya said, then he smiled at Kensu and nodded, giving him permission.
Kensu kicked it in the face, but his foot went through, then it disappeared, and he went home.

Kensu woke up 6:00 AM for the third morning of his training with Jabadaiya, he got up, and this time he didn't forget his Short Katana, he equipped it on his left hip in it's holster like usual. This time he walked to his mom, gave her a kiss and then walked out the door. "School! Love you!" and then after he walked down the stairs, he halfway skipped, and halfway jogged to the academy, and when he got there, he walked into the academy, and then he walked into Jabadaiya's room, "Hello sir, what am I learning today?" and then once again, he sat even closer, and he unsheathed his Short Katana, using a little knife to sharpen it. Then he would use a it, and then he would go through the process again, waiting for Jabadaiya.
Jabadaiya watched as he sharpened his Short Katana, and then he replied, "Well, you're going to use that Short Katana of yours to try cutting my head off. Okay?"
"WHAT?" Kensu half yelled, he couldn't believe it, but his sensei is his sensei, and he would do what he was told, so he took it, and sharpened it once more, and then he got up, and waited for Jabadaiya.
Jabadaiya got up and readied himself. He would easily dodge the attack.. or at least teleport from it.. "Go!" he yelled, and readied for the attack.
Kensu said "Okay.." and then he went to unsheath his katana, "HERE GOES EVERYTHING!" and then he shined it once more, and went to hit him in the neck.
Jabadaiya made a wooden desk take his spot, and then he sat in another.
Kensu was almost there, and then he turned into a wooden desk! And then Kensu's Short Katana sliced right through it. "WOW!" Then before Jabadaiya even said anything, he tried doing it, and he accidently made a desk appear and fall in front of him, but that was it. He tried it over about 25 times, this one was hard.. he thought, but he would get it! After about 30 tries, he made a succesful try. He made a desk come out of nowhere, and he disappeared right by Jabadaiya, then he yelled "GOT IT!" and he finished his training. And then he went home.

Kensu woke up for the fourth night, he was going to do his last training, maybe.. he grabbed his Short Katana, put it on, and then walked out the door, saying "SCHOOL! BYE!" and then he jumped down the steps, only landing on two as he jumped. He ran to the academy, rushed in, and sat down in Jabadaiya's room, he knew Jabadaiya would show him what to do anyways..
Jabadaiya smiled as Kensu came in, then he walked outside, closely followed by Kensu, then he walked up a tree, and he hung upside down on it. "Focus the chakra in your feet, you'll do it too." Jabadaiya said, smiling. Then he waited for Kensu to try it, and he knew Kensu would fall..
Kensu tried focusing his chakra into his feet, and he felt a tingly feeling, so he tried running up the tree and fell immediately, "OW!" he yelled, but he tried again, and again, every time making another effort to try focusing his chakra. Then finally, he stayed up for 3 seconds. He tried again and again.. but all he could muster was three seconds!
"STOP!" Jabadaiya yelled, then he jumped down, grabbed Kensu's feet, knocked him on his butt, and grabbed his shoes off. "Now try it."
Kensu didn't make much of it, but he definately got better, he made 7 seconds this time, then after about another 34 tries, he made 12 seconds. He would try even harder than he was now, he wanted this done! He tried harder, and he got 13. [264]
Jabadaiya watched in amazement as the kid ran up and down the tree, he was progressing every time.. he had stayed up for 13 seconds so far, the first day Jabadaiya tried, he only got 3 seconds.. the first couple of tries Kensu went, he got 3. Now he was up to 13! [318] [Wow.. About 600 + words in one day.. =( so much! I'ma stop for now, and slowly go through for the next one.]

 Honehime wobbled uncertainly on her feet for a few moments, before she finally shook her head and rattled loose the cobwebs that had her dazed. Looking around once more, she could see Echidna approaching, her fearsome blade at the ready. She could still feel the ache from the last blow, and knew she had to do something, she couldn't just try to block over and over. But what could she do? Her question went unanswered, as Echidna had already closed the distance between them, and prepared to lash out with her sword. Letting out a shrill cry of panic, Honehime raised her arms to futilely try to ward off the harmful blow, but it never came. Slowly, she opened her eyes, a bit scared at what she might see. Had she already been killed, and just hadn't realized it yet? No, she was alive. Her eyes widened in surprise when she saw her bones had grown out on their own, a bone from her forearm sprouting out and broadening into something much like a sword, and blocking Echidna's swing. (28449 words + 182 words = 28631 words) Finally, Lieselotte set down her dish, satisfied. She debated getting up to take another patrol around the camp, but decided against it. For the moment, she was feeling good, and just wanted to sit there and rest, take a little break after the very tasty meal. She didn't want to get too active immediately after eating, and risk losing it all. So instead she just leaned back, until she was laying down, and looking up through the web of tree branches into the clear sky above. She let her mind wander for a moment, which was a pretty unusual lapse of attention for her normally strict and attentive demeanor. She was changing, even if she didn't realize it. How great the change might be, or if it was permanent, no one knew. but she was changing, there was no doubt about that any more. Before, she never would have lazed about after a meal, watching the clouds. (24733 words + 159 words = 24892 words) Katsu hadn't realized what she was doing at first, but noticed soon after, upon taking note of Mei's increasingly desperate measures to stop from laughing aloud. As cuddled closely together as they were, she couldn't exactly stop, but she tried to at least minimize the problem, keeping her own movements slight if possible. Which, at the moment, meant leaning slightly against Mei, her head tilted to rub against her shoulder. Mei was slowly losing the battle to maintain control. She was showing surprising concentration and determination. Then again, if she were to burst out laughing, she might drop her food, and she really didn't want that. Finally, she risked answered Shuku. "Y-hehe-yes? Is someth-hehe-ing wrong?" She continued holding in hr laughter, slight shakes and jiggles running through her body as she tried her best to maintain herself. (31505 words + 145 words = 31650 words) Zenia finally managed to catch her breath after that agonizingly slow climb of the tree. Once her heart rate had returned to normal, she sat up slowly on the branch, still careful to do all she could to avoid detection. Leaning slightly forward, she smiled thinly as she realized that she had a pretty good vantage point of the camp. Not perfect, and nowhere near close enough to actually be able to eavesdrop on what was being said. But even so, still a very good spot to continue her surveillance from, until she was ready to move on to the next stage of her plan. She needed to keep an eye on Lieselotte and Sakazuki, to see just what they were like when not on guard. To see how Lieselotte had changed since before, and if it would be possible to salvage her. Or if her upcoming battle would have to be changed to an elimination order instead. (11353 words + 158 words = 11511 words) Melona blushed pink in delight at being called Sensei. She wondered what it might feel like to have Menace call her any other titles, and resolved to find out. Just not now, right now they were being serious. So she thought, tried to think of what the next step in their lesson should be. In the end, she decided to go into a brief description of some of the most basic of techniques, the ones that were generally required to be known to legally be declared a ninja. The Henge no Jutsu, which let you take on another form. The Bunshin, or Clone jutsu. Substitution, allowing you to change places with another object or person. And of course, the techniques used to walk upon the surface of the water, or up the side of a tree or wall. Any of these were supposed to be easy to grasp, though she didn't know just how easy it would actually end up being for either of them to learn. (14028 words + 168 words = 14196 words) Alice nodded upon being told the new rule, resolving to make sure to wash her hands much more often than before. She hadn't necessarily been unhygienic before, but a little more cleanliness would have went a long way. So hopefully with this lesson, that problem would be taken care of. She found a place to sit down, and hoped that it would be out of Airi's way as she conti9nued the lesson in showing Alice how to cook. When she was asked if there was anything else in particular that she wanted to learn how to prepare, she thought about it. Still watching Airi continue the salad preparation, she mulled over what else would be a good recipe to learn for a life on the road. "Hmm, maybe a soup ot stew, something I could make to warm me up when it's cold out at night, that doesn't require hours of work to prepare?" Of course, some soups did take hours to make. There were others that went much more quickly, however. (14334 words + 176 words = 14510 words) Haku had continued to look around at the various members of their temporary group in concern, hoping that a fight wasn't about to break out. She was becoming more and more self conscious, wondering what she could have done to make a fight not break out, how had she failed now. She frowned slightly and looked down at the ground sadly. When James turned to look at her, she felt her cheeks darkening all over again, and it only grew worse when he asked if he could speak to her. Her blush deepened almost instantly and she drew back, barely able to bring herself to slowly shake her head in a slight back and forth motion. When Neru spoke to her, told her they were about to leave rather than having a fight break out, she quickly moved to Neru's side, eager to get away from all of this tension and public scrutiny. If she had been anyone else, she very well might have been more at ease in the situation, but since she was her, she froze up and grew ever more shy with each passing moment among new faces. (10118 words + 193 words = 10311 words) V-13 had followed Pan in silence, each step bringing them closer to their final destination, and her embarrassment. Each step made it more and more definite that they were going to a workshop, and when they finally did step inside one, she wasn't sure of whether to feel terrified or relieved that the waiting was done. She nearly jumped in surprise when Pan let her heavy weaponry fall to the ground with a tremendous clang, the dull thud of metal versus metal. She looked around at the various tools, spanners, scanners and supplies that were ever-present in any of the base's workshops, and tried to steel herself for what was surely to come. And sure enough, a moment later Pan asked her to remove her chest covering. Her RPMs sharply rose, and her cheeks darkened all over again, but slowly, she nodded and sent the signal to release the locks that held her covering in place. With several soft clicks, the locks came undone, and her hands hesitantly moved to her torso to pop the covering from it's proper place. Beneath would lay her exposed circuits and systems, there on display for her superior officer to see. (12206 words + 202 words = 12408 words) When asked what the Great Library was like, Etheldreda paused to remember it. Even though she had been locked in her book form for centuries, she had still known the library very well. "Well, if you are a book, even a Grimoire, yes, it would be like a prison. No chance to escape, your abilities are sealed away, and you are stuck just sitting there, waiting for the next nosy beginner to try to read you." She frowned at that, perhaps remembering someone who had tried reading her, and failed, apparently. All in all, it hadn't been a painful existence within the library's confines, but it had definitely been a prison, she had not had the slightest bit of freedom until her escape. So in her mind, yes, it probably was a horrible place. For others, it could be the complete opposite, especially if they were bookworms. She herself had been a forbidden tome, so not very many had ever been allowed to try to read her; fewer still had made any headway. (5550 words + 175 words = 5725 words) Dizzy let her eyes track up the great tree's trunk to finally land upon Shouko, and the branch she was perched upon. She gulped nervously, but still nodded, and moved forward, rubbing her hands together nervously. Whereas Shouko had gone up the distance in a single, rapid leap, Dizzy seemed intent upon doing it the old fashioned way. Moving to the side of the tree, she wrapped her arms around it, trying to find good enough handholds to let her begin her ascent. Luckily, the bark was slightly uneven and rough. Not enough to really hurt her hands, but enough to give her plenty of options to grab on to. Slowly but surely, she made her way up the tree, foot after painstakingly gained foot. Finally, she flopped onto a branch just a few feet below Shouko's, breathing heavily. She was relieved that she had made it, but she was also pretty well worn out. Kensu was walking, he tried thinking of a way that he could focus his chakra, and that was it! Just like his Water Walking training! But he hadn't done that for two years, so he wouldn't be able to do it as good. He tried a couple times and then tried walking up the tree, he had succeeded, he made it up to 19 seconds, then he tried some more, and more, each time with difficulty, but he tried anyways. "This is Wearing me out sensei!" he yelled, then he sat down. He tried focusing the chakra into his feet, he kept trying, and kept trying, each time, his feet would glow blue, and then go back, so he tried adding a little more, but that just wore him, out, so he tried less, and perfect! It stayed blue, but he still had a long time until he would be able to stay on the tree. He tried running up it and, no surprise but he fell after 26 seconds, big improvement, next time he tried, it was the same, and again, and again.. after about 23 times again, he got up to 27. Kensu tried it again. He would perfect it, even if it would take time, he would do it! He would perfect it! He focused his chakra, he ran up it, he lasted 44 seconds. He tried again, and again, and then [240] finally, he lasted 2 and a half minutes, he almost had it! He kept trying, then he got worn out, he was using a little too much, that's why, so then he stopped, sat on the grass, rested for a couple minutes and tried again, using a little less chakra than he would usually use. He tried it one more time, and.. boom! He walked all the way up, and stood upside down with Jabadaiya. Then he jumped down and left.

With a soft sigh Suzaku walked up towards the acadamy her long silver hair dangiling in her face catching the sunlight and casting off brightness until she lifted her head showing blue eyes. Her hands stuffed in her pants pockets she continued her journey to the building. As she did this she saw other people. She cocked her head curious then closed her eyes and continued forward reminding her self not to pay attention to people. What use were they when no one even liked her? Even cared for her. That's what ran through her head. Tears came to her eyes. She quickly faught them back and gave a soft yawned that was immeditatly covered with a pale hand that was part of her body. Her thin frame walked forward and slowly past the people trying to catch onto their conversation. It amazed her how easily they talked to ecother.

Kane Doragon As hard as it was to pry himself away from the examining of the dead mans possessions, Kane glances over at a young woman who was making her way towards the Academy building from what he could tell. Kane stands, the bloody kunai still in his mouth and makes his way over to her. he didn't exactly know why he was making his way over to her but he was. He steps in her path and scrambles for something to say. "Yo," states Kane lowly as he realizes he was talking to a female wearing only a pair of dirty shorts that stretched down to his calves. She was probably thinking something along the lines of 'what a loser' but Kane soon finds himself caring less. Kane bites down on the kunai, a loud crunch like the sound of someone breaking through metal is heard, as Kane shifts the kunai in his mouth. He shoves either fist to his sides and gazes at the female before him.

Miku saw that James was willing to talk to Haku, but Neru was wanting to go. Of course, Haku was in her shy mode, so rater than talk to James she went to Neru's side. Well, she had been friends with them first, so she joined them, taking an assumed spot on Neru's other side since it usually made Neru happier to see Miku behind her, rather than to her side or in front. She smiled happily, perkily, and friendly towards the two males with them. "It's been a pretty long day today, huh? I'm sure every one's tired right now." She looked over to Haku and Neru. "Haku Onee-chan? Neru Onee-chan? Would you rather go to a hotel for the night or try making it back home tonight?"(( ?))

Suzaku's head jerked up her blue eyes wide. Someone was talking to her....Finally...She let out a soft sigh and a smile for no reason spread across her lips showing two dimples in her pale cheeks"Hello" she said softly. Her voice like a singers sept...Sweet and daring."How are you?" she asked ignoring that he just bit through a kunai, It never appeared to her that he was wearing dirty shorts. At the moment she didn't care if he was in rags or even naked. She was just glad someone was actually talking to her(Words=??)

Kane Doragon Kane looks at the female with a confused expression and says nothing. For a moment nothing happens at all. Kane just stares at the female. Then, after taking another bite out of the kunai, Kane finally speaks. "I'm doing well. Nice of you to ask but strange as well. I would think you'd ask me my name," murmurs Kane motioning from the female and over to a fountain in the center of the Academy front. He peers deeply into the water before extending his right hand over it. "My name is Kane Doragon," he states at the water in the fountain where his hand covered began to rise up slowly, "and as my name should inform you, I am the Metal Dragon." The water that surged up takes on a metallic color as Kane raises his hand higher and higher. Before long the water stops rising and Kane reveals the water to be a very long bit of metal with a hilt and everything. Wait. he had created a completely metal sword. What for? "What is your name? How are you this fine day my fare maiden?"

She shifted at the silence. Oh no...He didn't want to speak to her anymore she smiled soft again when he spoke up. Ah he was at a loss for words maybe? "I usally get to that part later "she murmered suddenly embrassed. She closed her eyes not seeing him creat the sword. When she opened them she was staring at the ground before she kicked the dirt"I like your name. It suits you..I'm Suzaku Izuke. I go by Su though" why had she just given him her nick name her parents gave her when she was little. He eyes became wide. What had she done .NO ONE knew that besides her.She looked up pushing her hair out of her face with a pale hand"I"m very well thank you" she smiled up at him being some what shorter than him was no problem. Being short hadn't bothered her though she shifted a bit. He seemed...Comforting. Not realizing it or if he did. She was drawn to him. Though she didn't understand why she felt the need to be held in his arms. Knowing that she'd be safe she crossed her arms over her chest before they did something on their own accord(??)

Kane Doragon "A wonderful nickname for a wondrous girl. A beautiful name for a beautiful woman," states Kane lightly turning slightly to face Su. Kane wasn't much for words since he rarely had any form of companionship. He never had family and had very few friends. But that never bothered Kane much. He could care less whether there was no one that cared about him or that he cared about. But if he did then he would cherish that person for however long he lived. Kane began thinking about his past a while longer before he frowns slightly. He was still hungry and there weren't very many tasty metals to eat in this place. and he couldn't go eating his own. That's just sick! But he needed nourishment or else he'd be terribly weak. Kane holds onto his blade tightly as he steps over to Su. "I don't mean to be strange, a bother, or even a bit forward but... might I trouble you for something metal?" Su would probably think it was odd for Kane to ask her for something Kane could form from water but he was asking. He couldn't eat his own metal only that of others.

She smiled at his comments the blood rushing to her cheeks to form what was known as a blush"T-thank you" she wispered and looked up at him smiling brightly. And truly for the first time instead of having to put on a fake smile for everyone. She felt so free around him like she was able to do anything. She blinked at his next question"hmm..let me see" she said digging through her bag that rested aginst her hip, She pulled out some old kunai that she never really used only carried just in case she ran out of her's. Which she never did. These kunai she often found on the ground, She pulled out some old hunting knives she had found as well"Will this do?"(??)
