Okay, that's not bad. I guess with some spray paint you could turn it black. But see!? That's where they screw you! The paint! But my baby is still sexier: That's also my Van Damme shot. xd

That is nice.... I bet you I paid way less for mine though biggrin . All I need to do for my costume is raid my Aunt's closet for her old holster and her spare set of handcuffs, and snag her earpiece... and if that doesn't work, I'll just sew my own holsters and utility belt.
My friends and I are going as "Law and Order" xd Basically, one of my good friends is going to be a lawyer, and I'll be the "cop"... except I'll have STARS patches on my costume... hahahaha. And it looks like my other friend is going as a Zombie, so that'll work out just peachily.

Well, yes, I paid $20 for mine. But like I said, it's a proportional replica. The clip comes out. And it's made of good plastic. (Except inside, apparently, since it broke. But it's a springloaded gun, and I kept the spring loaded, which apparently I'm not supposed to do, that's why. So now it doesn't shoot.) But it's still damn sexy and frankly, an untrained eye can easily mistake it for the real thing.
I also have a real holster, utility belt. And those sexy gloves, as you can see. I'll be one smokin' Wesker, just wait.

I have my own sexy gloves, thank you. My cousin just called and wants to run over to the Army/Navy store in a little while, so I might just drop the money and get a utility belt there.
Unfortunately, I can't really be any of the actual STARS members... so I'll come up with a backstory for my own... xd
Gosh, I really love Halloween...

Me too. It's a killer on the bank accounts though.

Well, I hardly ever spend so much time enjoying anything else. Halloween is my one week of the year when I can be something else, and by god, I'm going to enjoy every second of it.

Not true. There's always all kinds of conventions and such where you can dress up and such. But, of course, Halloween is much less nerdy.

Well, yes... I kind of forgot about that... But if you use a costume for Halloween, you can use it for a convention, and vice versa. So they really go hand-in-hand biggrin
There's nothing wrong with being a nerd, either.

Hand in hand, yes, but not on the very same day.

Of course not. But you can still use the costumes you put together for either, which makes it worth the moolah.

My point is that Halloween is not the ONLY day in the year where you can be someone else, so to speak. I win.
