We got a 2.
First time in school history.
We got a 2.
Our BD said that we were the best band he has ever had.
And now we became the worst.
We played music so difficult that no other band has ever attempted it.
And our efforts are unrewarded.

SAD.
My junior year we went to this festival, and the judges judged everyone so unfairly. Our BD said it was the best performance we had ever done, and we got 2s. And this other band that was just AWESOME also got 2s. Where as this really sucky band got 1s. My BD told us he wasn't disappointed in us, knowing we were awesome, and saying he would never go back to that festival again.

[ ] We got a II at our festival last week. The judges were pretty picky about little things this year and our music was challenging to top it off.
Don't beat yourself up over it. All that matters is that you did your best. biggrin []

Aw, Tuba...
We're the best lower band our school's ever had, and we got a III at festival.
(I on sightreading, though...so H was slightly happy...)
But, you said you had impossible music, so don't beat yourself up too much over it. It's not the end of the world, it's just showing that no band is perfect, no matter how much they want to think so.

All of the great (but lesser than us muwahahaha) wind ensembles in the district are getting twos. Wtf. all 3 judges are also university judges xD
And Mr Albert is talking about retiring early...

Hey guys. So there has been this scamming attempts lately that via "post action" or something where you show your friends at the top of your post- you can hack into someone's account. Gaia has stated they have fixed this problem, but you never know. As such there was a thread that had the "friends shown" and was talking about getting items and such (not band related). I freaked, logged out of my account, but then logged in and quickly deleted the post without even attempting to write user name down (or the other person who had posted in the thread).
That being said I just wanted to warn you guys about this, and if the said so user pops up and gets mad about it. sweatdrop
[edit] and someone in the media forum wanted to know where he could download free music from. gonk scream

Thank you. Yes I'm a girl. I had my first real drink tonight. Green Apple Martini. LOLz. I got buzzed from it, and just slightly tipsy. I'm sure another drink would have done me in. But I got to drive 9 hours tomorrow soooo . . . but tomorrow is Savannah's St. Patrick's day celebration. Second biggest in the country- and it's already crazy here.
