Eve, meanwhile, just backed away from the crazy Ninetales.



'No way are you human,' Nal said, shaking her head, 'For one, no human I've ever seen is able to control water the way I saw you do. Then there's you being able to understand me. Very few humans I've run across are capable of doing so.'

"If you honestly think," Night said, the heat continuing to rise, "That Turkey can get anywhere near as hot as me. You've got a lot to learn, boy."

Dan walked down the stairs, feeling well rested but hungry. He yawned as he passed Sub and Night, heading straight for the kitchen. Luckily, there was some food in the fridge. "Who's tea is this?" Dan asked aloud. Sure he wanted some but he wasn't going take it without asking...this time. For now, a sandwich and a lemonade would have to suffice. He took a seat in the lobby and watched Sub and Night while enjoying his sandwich.

Ryan chuckles. "You are quite perceptive. Bu the truth is, I am human. I am just undergoing training to become a Water Channeler. And since you are part Vaporeon, I can understand you just fine because of it." Ryan explains.

"Yes." Ryan says before turning to Orth. "Can you help me real quick?" he asks. Orth nods. Ryan reaches over to the water and manipulates up an orb of water. once he gets the shape with both hands, he places it in his right hand. he then holds it out to Nal. "I am Human. and Normally I wouldn't be able to even sense chi, much less manipulate it. But since I have such a strong affinity for water, I went to seek a Water Master to teach me how I could, even as a mere human.

My Master is a mighty Vaperon Hybrid call Varuna. his knowledge of water is as deep as the oceans themselves as he has lived for a very long time. I first had to prove my worth to him and dedication to learn from him. Then he gave me two options: Become a Hybrid or Become a Channler. Since I have no desire to become a Hybrid, I chose the path of the Channeler.

A Channler can awaken his senses and be able to manipulate water through a special item and a shared bond between his most trusted water pokemon. The special item is this gourd next to me, it is known as a Coral Gourd. It was very difficult and dangerous to forge. As for my my most trusted Pokemon, that would be Orth here, my Kingdra." Ryan explains. Orth nods to Nal.

"Even he had to go to great risks to help me gain these powers. And before you ask, he had to risk his very life. But now we are connected by this Gourd. He can help me do great things. I can do some things as you have seen, but I am still in the early stages of my training. it will be quite awhile before I get anywhere near the level of Master Varuna. But if I manage to complete his training, I will be able to bend water to my will." Ryan finishes explaining.

"Does that answer your question, little one?" Ryan asks. "And by the way, what is your name?" he adds.

'Not really,' Nal said with a slight shrug, 'Then again, I really don't understand much in the ways of humans, or hybrids. But, I suppose, I can understand your desire to be stronger than most humans are. Without the need to constantly rely on your pokemon to fight your battles for you.' She cast a quick glance towards the Kingdra before continuing, 'As for my name. I go by many. But those associated with Blizzard and Tails, as I'm assuming you are due to your being so close to their current home, tend to call me Nal or Nalagea.'

"I would, but I'd prefer not to expend so much chi in resurrections that I'm reduced to the stature of a school-age child." Sol answered. He was well aware Night was liable to take this the wrong way. "As for that... I usually keep a few spare sets of clothing. While my body may come back from death intact, my clothing is another matter. Since I think everyone would prefer if I'm not running around in the buff, it covers that contingency. Since Amaranth had no other clothes to speak of while we were within Black City, I had little choice to but to lend her some of my own."
