Her attention was directed to a rather beefy male as he introduced himself as James, and that he was the Head Medic in Sunagakure. She gave him a slight bow in respect, "N-Nice to m-meet you James-sama.." Once the Kazekage had introduced herself and her partner, "P-Pleased to meet you Ayame-sama and Dai-" She yelped loudly as she covered her mouth in both shock and surprise. Nakita was about to introduce herself to the shaking wolf before he spoke. It quickly hit her that this would be considered very rude. Cleared her throat softly, she lowered her hand, her cheeks were furiously pink. "F-Forgive me.." Then her expression changed. She was in deep thought. Focused. She realized something. She knew a lot about medical and anatomy of the human but she knows nothing of the animal. Her right arm cross her torso as the other hand reached up to her chin, thinking. "I should do more research on different animals anatomy, if I remember right, he's everything to you, so I should know how to do my job." It seemed that when she was on the job, she focus better. Less nervous and scared so she spoke better. "A-ah... w-with your p-permission... c-can you help me f-find someone to tea-teach me the Taijutsu ar-arts of Hyuuga Clan?"

Yukie turned from her archery ignoring the new ice wall formed to prevent her rouge arrows from injuring some unlucky soul. Theo was apologizing for his family drama. Yukie gave an annoyed scowl before lossing one final arrow. she was facing him but aiming for the target as she walked. The arrow struck dead center mass of the dummy's chest where the sternum would be piercing into it with enough force to shack the stand that held it. "Its fine." She said with a clearly aggravated voice but in a way that said she was trying to conceal her emotions."Hidden Mist. Iv studied the basic's and read up on what it does but i also wanted to work on my own jutsu's. Iv got an idea of what i want but nothing set in stone. Yet" She said slinging the bow back over her shoulder as she retreated to retrieve her arrows. "Hidden mist for one and its visional jutsu counter part. Id also like some sort of long range attack, Id heard of Water needles but iv not studied it yet. Have you ?"

Smiling nervously and rubbing the back of his head at Yukie’s obvious aggravation, “Nice shot, “he commented seeing the dead center hit on the dummy, “Hidden Mist jutsu, Mist vision, and … sounds like you mean the Thousand Water Needles of Death…I know all of those, actually.” Theo would quickly hit the button on his staff, retracting it down to only a foot long and stashing it in his robe, he’d then hold up his right hand, “Alright, here’s the Hidden Mist jutsu.” The jounin would perform the handsigns slowly so that the girl could see them easily and when he finished a fog began expelling from his pores and forming a heavy mist all around them, rendering them basically blinded. Theodin would then speak again, “Now for the mist vision, so that you can see through your own technique, it’s a simple matter of focusing your chakra into your eyes and converting it to suiton nature.” He’d do it himself as he spoke, getting a clear view of his new student through the mist. Once he knew she had a handle on the mist vision and could see, he held up his other hand, “and for the water needles…” he’d perform the handsigns slowly again and yukie would see hundreds of thin needles condense and form from the air around them and with a wave of his hand they’d all fly at the nearest dummy, turning it into a pincushion. With a smile and a nod, Theo looked back to Yukie, “Anything else?”

Yukie watched carefully but it was all hand signs she already knew from practice and personal study. She'd never put practice to the test until now though. She felt rather lazy in the effort none the less and only used a single hand to perform each sign but gained the same results as Theo just at a slower rate. He had year of practice at it though Learned D - Kirigakure no Jutsu [ Hidden Mist Technique ]
Almost as soon as Theo's fog toke effect she lost track of him. His charke was brighter inside the mistly bank of water but was mixed about blinding her to his exact location. Though her senses picked up on the rest. In combat she wouldn't have felt she could pick him off with an arrow though. How quickly her Byakugan had become a weakness. Theo didn't perform any hand signs to teach her the second jutsu. Instead he explained what she had to do. It wasn't hard really. She had after all practiced her Byakugan for years so focusing chakra into her eyes just came naturally at this point.
Learned D - Kiri Shikaku no Jutsu [ Mist Vision Technique ]
Last up was the jutso she had only heard of. A wide spread range jutsu. It was a water style so the fog would serve her well to perform it with little extra effort. He mapped his chakra flow using her Byakugan and matched his hand signs to her own at least three times before actually attempting it. At first nothing happened but on the third attempt she turned a second dummy into a pin cushion of her own.
Learned B - Sensatsu Suishou [ Thousand Flying Water Needles of Death ]
Yukie smiled as she released all three jutsu's and marveled at her speed and accuracy with the last technique. she had been focusing on both the jutso and where she wanted each needle to do but wasn't sure she would even hit the target dummy she was aiming for. Stepping up to her target she could see she had in fact hit most every vital spot on it save for a few. But in retrospect she had sent more needles then Theo had in fact twice as many. Evadint by how many struck the dummy and how many more struck dirt and the broad side of the building behind it. "that wasn't so hard." She remarked turning back to Theo with a smile. "How'd i do then ?" she ask with a bow to show him proper respect having let it slip her mind until now. Honestly she hadn't though much of him at first. "At this rate ill make Anbu in no time." She said cheerfully.

Theodin watched as Yukie performed the jutsu he’d shown her, smiling slightly, and when she turned to him and bowed, he raised his hand, “No need to bow to me, Yukie, that was good, you’re learning quickly!” Theo would perform a quick handsign and a tornado would form off to the side, sucking up the mist he’d created so that they and everyone nearby could see clearly again. Smiling, Theo walked towards her, “ANBU, eh? That’s your goal? Well it won’t be easy, but I’ll do what I can to help you train and get ready for it when the time hopefully comes.” Theo would chuckle a bit, “ So, any other jutsu you’d like to learn?”

A large white wolf with a brown patch of fur going down her back, tail, and hind legs laid peacefully in the shadows of the academy with a slumbering child nestled in her fur. Her gold eyes scanned the area ahead, watching all of the young Genin train, and the more experienced Shinobi assisting them. Unfortunately, her little pup decided to stay up all night, playing in the sand and running around... so instead of training, he was catching up on his sleep. He barely made it through the graduation ceremony this morning, and even fell asleep while standing up! Akira smiled, turning her head to gently nuzzle the slumbering Raiju awake. "Nonono... Pfffbt." His words were slurred, turning his face away in an attempt to retreat from the cold, wet nose that rubbed against his cheek, sporting a pouting expression before falling silent. His face now buried in Akira's soft warm fur, there was no way he was going to wake up now.
"Raiju, wake up." She spoke softly with a motherly tone, grabbing a hold of his shirt with her mouth, and tugging him into the sand. Paf! He fell upon his back into the sand, a fountain of drool pouring from the side of his lips. Boy, this kid could sleep. A toothy grin flashed upon Akira's muzzle, before she picked him up by the neck of his shirt and lifted him up to his feet. "B-but I'm tired, Mama..." He whined, flailing his arms about lazily as he was forced to stand up on his two feet, or fall to the sand once again. Akira gave him a gentle push from the rear end, "Walk it off. You've got a big day ahead of you, and you have already slept half of it away. Go on, now." She gave him another push, a little harder this time, sending him a couple steps forward. Raiju groaned in protest, taking a few more steps forward, his bare feet covered in the sand. "Oookay, okay! I'm up." He yawned, rubbing his sleepy eyes, and squinting as the sun's rays warmed his body.
And just like that, Raiju was back to his normal self. His sky-blue eyes were wide open, full of life, and he was sporting his usual happy-go-lucky smile. "So what Ninja stuff are we doing today?" He asked climbing onto Akira's back, basically having to climb her as one would a mountain, due to her size. A bit of an exaggeration, of course. Akira padded out into the sand, "Well, first you're going to need a headband, like mine. Then, I have a surprise for you." Raiju's eyes lit up, and Akira didn't even have to look back to tell the boy was excited. He was already bouncing around with joy. "But, you can't have it until you get your headband." She gave a wolf-like chuckle, walking past a large group of training Genin, with what appeared to be two or three assisting mentors.
However, that wasn't what Raiju noticed. The tiniest hint of fluffy gray fur had caught his full attention, and he was now looking at the complete picture. "Oh look! A wolf!" Like the wind, Raiju was off of Akira's back and making a beeline for the furry beast. "Wolfiiie!" He yelled out, leaping to grab onto the wolf's head, but he was suddenly jerked backward when he was just inches from contact. Suspended off the ground, Raiju looked at the wolf he failed to hug, with his arms still extended. He felt a familiar feeling from behind, and instantly his entire body sank. With Akira holding her pup by the 'scruff' of his neck in her mouth, her body stood as rigid as a board. There was nothing but silence between the two, with piercing gaze settled on Raiju that only a protective mother would understand. "C-can I pet him...?" He asked weakly, stretching his hands out to the wolf lying in the sand. Akira's gold eyes flickered to the beast, her gaze remaining as fierce as it had been before, though not purposely. Her head tilted to the side inquisitively, awaiting an answer on his part before she even thought about setting her pup back down.

Daichi rolled over on to his side and let his ears flicker back and forth removing the dust from them as the shinobi trained. He was enjoying the relaxing warmth of the sun before he was interrupted by a child. He lifted his head and gave a chuckle as the pup was held back by another wolf. He watched the wolf and gave a warning grumble as she looked at him. He understood the female's protectiveness, he did it himself with Noriko, but he was alpha. He shook his head then rolled over to his belly staying low so as not to frighten the child with his size and appearance. He may pet me if he wishes. My tamer says I have really soft fur. Except for where the scars are. My name is Daichi, what is yours little pup? He said giving a word of warning, so again, he wouldn't scare the child. Ayame shook her head at her partner and walked over to the group. He won't hurt him, he's a little too soft when it comes to children.

Akira's eyes narrowed in response to the male's grumble. She'd heed his warning, but wouldn't go without giving him a low growl of her own. She wasn't one to submit so easily, even to a wolf a bit larger than herself. Lowering her head, she placed her pup on the ground, and he leaped over without a second thought, kneeling beside his belly. "I'm Raiju, and over there is Akira. She's friendlier than she looks, haha!" Raiju gently laid his upper body against Daichi's back, running his hands and face across his soft fur. "It really is soft! And warm too." He commented cheerfully, being careful not to graze the scars located near his ribs. He did examine them however, and felt a pang of sadness in the pit of his stomach, wondering how he got such nasty boo-boos to begin with. He face-planted into Daichi's fur, making it look as if he had a white, scruffy patch on his gray coat. "Ish so comfy!" He cheered, his voice being muffled by Daichi's body.
Akira smiled, shaking her head. Why he couldn't pet an animal like a normal person, she'd never know. Perhaps it was his size that compelled him to do so. She too examined Daichi's scars. It was apparent that this wolf had gone through some tough trials in the past. "Hello, Daichi." She'd greet him with a bow of her head, turning to the female who she assumed was his Tamer. "I see that. Good to know that my pup will have some other animals to play with. What is your name?" She tilted her head, her left ear flicking about inquisitively. During that brief time between the moment Akira began to speak, and once she finished, Raiju had once again, fallen asleep. His face having sunk deeper into Daichi's soft, fluffy fur as his entire body relaxed, and a gentle snore could be heard by anyone with enhanced hearing.
A comical sweat drop appeared on the side of Akira's head, face-palming, or in this case, muzzle-pawing and sighing. "I'm sorry. Rough morning... The boy's also in need of a headband to begin his training." Raiju's body stirred slightly at the sound of Akira's voice, his arms raising up, but his face remaining planted in Daichi's fur. "I'm a ninjaaaah~!" He mumbled, his arms falling back down and going silent once more. The sounds of gentle snoring returned, an obvious sign that he had fallen back to sleep.

Daichi paid no heed to the female wolf. He had earned his title respectfully, he didn't need her recognition. He did give a small smile to the boy as he buried himself within his fur. It made him happy the child was not afraid of him. I bet she is. She's just protective of you little pup, and we tend to stay pretty warm here in the desert. It is nice to meet you both. He said giving them a nod of his head as his tamer kneeled near him. He lay his head in her lap and nuzzled into her. Ayame gave a smile and ran her hand over Daichi's scar on his ear, before laying her forehead to his. I am Ayame Hatake, Daichi's partner, and the kazekage. Nice to meet you. Ayame sat up and smiled at Raiju after she spoke to Akira, then she produced a headband for him out of her hakama. I only carry one or two of these with me in the village so I'm glad I hadn't removed them.

Akira's ears perked up, and her body straightened upon Ayame's introduction. She had been unaware that she was in the presence of the Kazekage. Furthermore, she was a Hatake. Akira had suspicions about it, taking her white hair, Lupine companion, and overall, the sense of serenity she felt when she approached them. In a way, she reminded him a bit of Raiju's mother, albeit a bit taller, but very beautiful nonetheless. That meant Daichi was of similar status, being her companion, and most likely a ninja animal. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Lady Kazekage." She lowered her head in respect to both Ayame and Daichi, intending to make up for her earlier actions with the wolf. Retrieving the headband from Ayame's hand, she laid it on top of the sleeping boy's hand and gently rousing him awake with her nose.
The little Hatake's head shuffled slightly, before his face emerged from the depths of Daichi's soft fur, eyes still partially closed. "I wasn't sleep, was just... testing you." He yawned rubbing his eyes, looking down at the headband that fell off of his hand. "Wah? ...Oh, a headband! Thank you!" He hastily fastened it to his forehead, his wild, scruffy hair covering it up most of the way, but could still be recognized. He quickly stood up straight, any signs of sleepiness were now gone, his facial expression as serious as a ten year-old could pull off, minus the big grin on his face. "Hup! Raiju Hatake, reporting for duty." He bowed respectfully, nearly losing his balance, raising back up to find out that he couldn't see. "...?" The headband had fallen over his eyes due to it night being tied on tight enough to stay on his forehead. After a few moments of awkward silence, the boy had finally realized what the issue was. "Ah!" Raising the headband back to his forehead, under his hair, he tightened it up once more then smiled at Ayame. Akira smiled and ran off to retrieve Raiju's gift, and because she was standing behind him at the time, he failed to notice her departure.
"Now Akira and I can start training! I can get my gift now, right... Akira?" He turned to his side to see that Akira was missing. He looked down, then behind him, but his beloved mother was nowhere in sight. "Akira!? Akiiiiiiira!" He called out, looking among the training Genin to see if he could spot her. Sighing softly after his brief search hailed no results, he spotted another familiar face. It was Nakita from the orphanage, one of the few people he managed to make friends with during his first few weeks there. He took a particular liking to Nakita for her kindness, and the only caretaker who was able to deal with his wild nature. "Kita!!" He called her by the nickname he made for her, running over and grabbing her arm. "Hey, what are you doing here? Look what I just got!" He pulled his hair back revealing the headband underneath, the silver plating proudly donning Sunagakure's symbol reflecting the sun's rays. "I'm a ninja now. Are you here to train too?" He asked curiously, tugging her closer to the duo he had just met recently, Daichi and the Kazekage.
At that very moment, Akira would return holding a Tanto in her mouth, with a feather dangling in the wind which was attached to the hilt. Raiju noticed her arrival smiling and giggling with joy. "You're back Akira! Where did you go?" The large wolf approached him, and upon seeing the sword in her mouth he extended his hands forward, palms open. After setting the sword within his hands, she sat watching her pup stare at the Tanto with wonder. "That's your gift, Raiju." She smiled at her pup, while Raiju weighed the Tanto in his hands and examined it further. "Wow, thanks mama." He smiled holding the Tanto in his left hand, then kneeling next to Daichi and looking at Nakita. "Have you met this big guy? His name is Daichi and he's got really soft fur, mhm." While she waited for an answer from James if he knew someone that can teach her the bloodline Taijutsu, someone tugged on her arm. Her face quickly brightened up, "Raiju!" Nakita exclaimed, a bit surprised to see him there and wearing the headband on his head. With a soft smile, she excused herself from James and went to where Raiju wanted to lead her to. Nakita felt protective of Raiju and any kids in the Orphanage, but Raiju had a special place and sure enough, he became a shinobi. Though worried and concerned, Nakita believed he was in good hands especially with Akira by his side. Her hand was free when Akira had brought him a gift. What happened? Where the time go? Smiling brightly, she felt the Sunagakure becoming slightly tighter in her mind. "See! You could do it Raiju. Now we need to find someone to train you." Now she fears the day that she will see one of the kids lying on the cold slab in the hospital. No. She was going to do everything to avoid that. Raiju quickly took a liking towards Daichi as she nodded to his answer as well slightly bow in respect to both Ayame and Daichi. "What do you say we go to the festival to celebrate?" Nakita questioned towards the young and carefree shinobi.

Ayame gave a chuckle and Daichi nodded his head at Akira. She hadn't bothered him in the slightest and it would be nice having another wolf in the village. Raiju would be nice to have around, maybe he could get his tamer out of the funk she had been in. Another Hatake. This'll be fun. Raiju if you need help training I wouldn't mind helping you myself. Ayame said giving a smile and standing, she needed to train herself there were still things she could learn, and it would be nice to teach another Hatake and tamer. Daichi was absolutely fine until the boy got him right in one of his favorite spots. He was not ashamed as his leg started thumping the ground. Ayame gave a full out laugh at her partner. Big softy.

Raiju continued scratching Daichi behind the ear, further encouraged by the thumping of his leg. He couldn't help but let out a cheerful giggle at the sight. His mother greeted Nakita with a smile, happy to see that she too had become a Shinobi, and was no less proud than herself to see Raiju advancing in his career. Despite her own worries and concerns for her pup, she was confident he'd pull through it all. Now that he was a full-fledged Shinobi, he could train, and finding a teacher seemed to be no issue at all, with Raiju sharing a similar skill set to the Kazekage. While Akira readily agreed to the proposition, Raiju was barely aware of what Ayame was saying at the sound of a festival coming from Nakita's words. "A festival!?" He shouted, jumping up to his feet and looking at Nakita, with his eyes brimming with excitement. Yea! Let's go! I've never been but lots of the other kids were talking about it earlier. It sounds like lots of fun!" He ran over to Nakita, taking her by the arm, and was getting ready to bolt off when Akira stopped him.
"And what about your training, Raiju?" Akira stood with her tail wagging back and forth, in a 'tsk tsk' manner. Raiju whined in protest, clinging to Nakita's arm. "I know but... the festivaaaal..." His big blue eyes have never looked so pitiful -- like a sad little puppy dog, and if Akira believed she could say no to that, she'd soon find out she was horribly wrong. Her ears sank against her head, looking at Ayame, then sternly towards her pup. "C'mon, please ma? I promise when we get back I'll train all day and night! You'll see!" Akira stood silently, her stern gaze still settled upon Raiju. She was combating herself internally, between her loving motherly side and her alpha wolf side. A little fun wouldn't hurt, alongside some quality time with Nakita. If she could trust anyone with her pup, it was her. She was more than able to prove that during his time in the orphanage, and was as close to a caring, human mother that he would ever have. She was more of a big sister in a way, considering her age. Akira sighed, laying down into the sand. "...Fine. Go have fun at the festival." She grinned, clearly defeated, but happy to see that bright smile returning to Raiju's face. "But! As soon as you get back, you will start your training, got it?"
Raiju nodded, "Yes ma'am! Okay Kita, let's go, let's go! To the carnivaaaaal!" He climbed onto her back, holding onto her shoulders, and would allow her to lead the way.

Nakita had a warm smile on her face as she watched Raiju with Daichi. She heard the Kage's offer but it seems that Raiju had only one thing focused on his mind; the festival. With a weak smile, she watched the scene unfold before her. Nakita understood Akira's struggle of the decision, after all Nakita needed to train as well. But to her, other people happiness was more important. Of course, she decided to make the decision harder on Akira, "Please Akira-chan? The training and ways of being a shinobi will always be here but the festival isn't an everyday option. Please?" Once Akira caved in, Nakita smiled brilliantly, happy to see Raiju excited. Once she leaned down, her arms went around his legs as her hands supported underneath Raiju to make sure he won't slip off while his hands held onto her shoulder, "My apologizes Ayame-sensei and Daichi-sensei, I will be sure to repeat what you offered to him so he will take up on it. I'm honored for your offer to train Raiju-kun and I hope he sees it as well." With that, Nakita turned as they quickly head towards the festival.

the sound of soft slithering could be heard through the academy grounds as fuzzy approached the academy looking for cookies. passing some students, who once noticing him startle and run away to find someone who could deal with this odd snake, he looks for familiar faces. flicking his tongue out he could taste a familiar taste, and another that was most likely canine. this seemed promising. he slithered off towards that direction in the hopes of finding out who this familiar person was. coming upon someone who he could tell was older and possibly knew him, not that he cared or even cared to think about if he remembered this person as most were forgettable mooks, he stopped and raised himself up a little to be noticed. "hhhheelllllo. isssss there sssssomeone in there?" he asked with his whispy snake voice hoping to get the attention of the mook he was talking to.
