[I swished my tail across the hard ground patiently, waiting for everyone. My amber eyes quickly scanned the group, noticing everyone had gathered. Nodding once, I turned to Blackflame]
"You can guard the camp with Wildwind and Shadowgaze" I meowed simply.
[Turning back to the patrol, I straightened up, sticking my chest and chin out defiantly, proud of my Clan, so willing to protect their friends and family. I'll protect you, Mudnose. I promised silently]
"Everyone ready to go? Eaglesoar, Tigerfang, lead the way"
[I lashed my tail, and unsheathed my claws, ready to kill]

Blackflame groaned. "What do they take me for? I can protect this clan, i've been aroudn long enoguh;."She muttered to herself, laying down at the Camp entrance. Treepaw already had snuck out of Camp, planning to join the ifght. But Blackflame saw him, told him to guard the Camp, and she would take his place, she hid amongst a patch of garlic, rollling aorund in itto hie her scent."Perfect, and no one even noticed."

I am Cloudfang, medicine cat of Seaclan... Um... Willowheart and Mudnose, told me that a cat needed help...um...also... Mudnose needs to be looked at..." Cloudfang spilled out the information to the warrior. Her head rose, her green eyes meeting his. never give up if you still want to try...never wipe tears if you still want to cry

[I turned to the she-cat, ready to demand what in the name of StarClan was she doing when she introduced herself. I dipped my head in respect, horrified I had been close to yowling at her]
"My apologies, Cloudfang, but it's a little busy here. We are thankful you came," I lowered my voice, "Hauntedheart...isn't the coziest cat, but don't take it personally. She got Cinderwing to fix her up, but I have no idea if she's ok or not. Just, have a look at her and Mudnose, but if she tells you to leave, I highly suggest you do so" I warned.
[Straightening up and returning my deep meow to it's normal volume, I looked down upon Cloudfang]
"Thank you, once again. Now, if you don't mind, I have to go"
[I dipped my head once more, then turned away]

Even though his nose was rather untrained for tracking, the strong and unique smell of onions was still more than enough for him to follow. He followed the line of scents, sniffing the ground cautiously...until the scents seemed to go vertically up a tree.]
Up? But that's impossible! Foxes can't climb!
[Eaglesoar thought indignantly, but the evidence was clear. It seemed as though the scent of onions had just vanished into thin air, while going up a tree.]
No, this can't be happening! It CAN'T! They MUST be here somewhere!
[He thought as he sniffed the ground frantically, following the scent line...until he again came to a stop beside another tree.]

"Sorry, Cloudfang. Hauntedheart's den is right there" I meowed, pointing with my tail.
[A quick, tight smile, and I was gone, chasing after Eaglesoar, always slightly behind everything. I stopped and looked around, sniffing the air, noticing Eaglesoar look up at a tree, then hearing his cries]
"Eaglesoar? May I ask what's wrong?" I asked quietly.

Mudnose almost said something else to Cinderwing when she heard Foxfur call her off the patrol. She frowned, her heart sinking. Did he think she was weak or something? A growl started in the base of her throat at that thought. That stupid tom thought that she of all cats was weak?! No! She wasn't weak. She couldn't feel pain! She was fine!
Mudnose stood up on sturdy legs, but felt herself crash back down to the ground as she felt someone push her. She snarled, kicking Cinderwing in his muzzle. "Get off me you piece of mouse dung! I'm going to go protect my Clan!" she growled.
Cinderwing snorted. "No, you're going to stay here! I haven't set your rib right!" he meowed with as much fire in his voice. He glanced at Cloudfang pleadingly as she entered. "Cloudfang, do something!" he half whispered.
Mudnose growled, glaring at Cinderwing. "What do you mean you didn't set it right?! It looks fine!" she growled, looking back at her rib. She had lied. It looked even worse. It looked as if it was going to break through her skin at any second. She shook her head. What was a popped out rib going to do? Trip her? She shook her head, looking at Cloudfang. "Hauntedheart needs more treatment than I do," she meowed in a much calmer voice to avoid any upset. She flicked her tail toward the somewhat still she-cat who was laying in the nest. She sighed, somewhat sorry for her own Clan. A Clan without a medicine cat would be hard if Hauntedheart died or something.
Without another thought, she padded out of the medicine cat den, dashing after Foxfur. The rib bone rubbing against the inside of her skin felt somewhat odd, but she ignored it. That was fixable. Once she caught up with the tom, she skidded to a halt, looking at the handsome deputy. She pushed away her infatuated thoughts though and almost spoke, but was suddenly aware of something else. An odd scent was clinging to a tree. And was Eaglesoar.....scared about it? Finally, she spoke. "Foxfur, I'm going with you guys." Her voice was so filled with conviction, it even convinced herself. `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯```•.¸¸.••´´ ☾XXBUT ALL I'VE EVER LEARNED FROM L O V EXX ☽

[I nearly let out a growl as Mudnose came bounding up to me, as I could plainly see her broken rib. I turned away, and padded a few tail-lengths away from the group, signaling for her to follow. I stopped, and turned around, a look of grim determination on my face, amber eyes trained on the ground]
"Mudnose, you can't. I have no doubt that you can protect herself very well, but you're hurt, and I can't let you get worse"
[I flattened my ears slighty, bracing myself for her response]
"I can't let you come, not with your rib hindering you, I can't let you get killed," I paused, then added, "I'd never forgive myself"
[You're an idiot. Let her fight! Don't push her away!
She's injured, are you stupid?
No! I'm not, actually! But she wants to come and help!
I don't care! If she dies because of me, I'll never get over it. Sometimes, I think she's the only one who likes me.

Disappointment crossed the siamese she-cat's face as Foxfur told her that she couldn't come. She focused on something ahead, only seeing Foxfur's muzzle move as he spoke something inaudible to her. She almost asked him to repeat it, but didn't bother to ask. He didn't care. He only saw her as some petty kit who couldn't take care of herself. She sighed. He was probably right. It had been her own fault she had broke her rib. She had let that stupid SeaClan piece of scum squish her against that tree. She snorted inwardly. What an oddity he had been!
Mudnose's thoughts returned to Foxfur. She felt sadness swarm her as her eyes returned to him. He thought she was weak, simple as that. Almost immediately after that, involuntary words came out. "You really think I'm that stupid, to let my guard down long enough for some fox to kill me?" she asked hollowly. After she said that, she started back toward camp on wobbly legs, snorting under her breath. Her legs felt odd. Stiff almost, but she straightened herself up, continuing a little faster. She would prove herself some time. To Foxfur, and to the rest of the Clan.
