Zen wasn't far behind Junoe the entire time. He ran full force into the city, looking just like a normal human... a very fast human. He dashed around objects and people with a quicker speed than her before him. He saw her dash into a side alley and he made the turn with relative ease as well. He was, after all, among the most agile creatures. He saw her jump up on to the rooftops. "Why is she going up there?" He followed her still, slowly gaining. When she hopped off he was surprised and nearly missed the drop. But he didn't. He chased still and yelled ahead to her. He started to run even faster now, he had to pull her into an alley for this part. He reaches out for her shoulder to try and get a grip, if he got it, he'd pull her into one of the many alleyways around them, and try to win. If he missed, the chase would continue still. Hopefully, it wouldn't have to, the city made it harder to be inconspicuous.

She felt him simply because he had brushed her, but Junoe wasn't going to give in so easily. He gripped her shoulder but not tightly, and she rolled as she felt it, essentially rolling under him so that she ended up behind him, Zenharu sliding to his knees into the alley he'd wanted to pin her in and she on the outside of said place, turning and running off again as soon as she managed to get her feet beneath herself again. She ran, and it was becoming easier for her at least to maneuver around the modern obstacles. She had an easier time with this kind of thing; he was just faster. She was headed to the large building towards the center of the city, or at least what she hoped was the center of the city, for if she was wrong it was bigger even still that she had feared earlier. Here there was a fountain, and she moved past it, stopping just before the doors to calmly slip in before running again. It wasn't at all unusual for her. She didn't care if she was dashing through the mall, teating it as though she were performing parkour around the building, jumping railings with great ease, landing in crouch and running off again to avoid being caught.

Zen ran out of the alley and got back on her trail quickly. It took him a second, but he got his footing back and he started going full speed again. He dodged around the crowd as she did. He saw a large building up ahead and figured that's where she was heading. "Dammit Junoe." He cursed a bit under his breath as they rounded the fountain and entered the mall. As she hopped from stairs he jumped from balconies to cut time. He needed to catch up quicker than he was. The mall was gigantic though. He looked around a bit as he ran after Junoe, almost running into a few people in the process. "this place doesn't seem bad, maybe we'll be able to stay a while." During his period of thinking, Junoe had pulled away from him again, so he stopped distracting himself and ran as fast as he could now.

Jun's ears perked up as he smelled someone else in the mall. "Sorry, Vinnie, but it smells like we're not the only ones here any more. I'd stick around, but im afraid im going to wind up covered in zombie-mess again." he said walking off, giving a little wave behind him as he left. he soon vanished in a flash of light and reappeared crouched on a railing near Junoe and Zen. "Why the rush? Most people try to enjoy the city life around here..." he said with a sly smile as his tail flicked about curiously. "At least...while they can..."

Junoe was in the mall specifically because she'd wanted to distract him, and because she simply loved causing trouble at least on this small scale. Scare the s**t out of a few people and whatnot. What she hadn't been expecting was to find someone she actually knew out here in this remote little place, not far from the school they'd just been kicked out of not long ago. She skidded as a person appeared in front of her and turned sideways as she side stepped in mid run to put her both facing the young man and a little bit to his side. Her coat was still furling about her legs in the breeze she'd caused from running. "Jun?"

Zen saw her stop and grinned. He had won. He got to where Junoe was standing and tackled her down from behind, so he was sitting on her back. He pinned both her arms behind her back and held her legs down with his own. "You're not getting out of it this time." He kept some of his weight on the ground so she couldn't flip him over like last time. He held her arms back and whispered into her ear. "I win this time."

"Now there's a face i never thought i'd see again..." Jun said with his sly smile as he hopped down from the railing and landing gracefully on the ground. "As for you..." she said grabbing the back of Zen's shirt and pulling him off of Junoe. "I'd appreciate it if you'd keep your hands to yourself.

Kate looked around, seeing for the first time the total level of devastation that her apartment had been subjected to. It was no longer even usable. Kate sighed and shook her head, but only proceeded to her room, the door of which she left open. A large bulletin board was taken off the wall, and set on the somehow intact coffee table in the center of what remained of her living room. The poster had a number of variously-colored flag-pins stabbed into it at various places, and the entire thing was ultimately a complete map of Mahtog. The flag-pins represented the sites of something... the most recent pin, being green, was injected into the site of the restaurant where Sheo had actually met Jun. It was right after that when Biohazard had attacked....
A few closed boxes of unknown items were brought out and set beside the bulletin board, and then Kate left and once again returned, this time toting a duffel bag hanging from her shoulder. She turned, grim-eyed, to Jin. "Take whatever you want from the refrigerator," she told him, "because I've got everything I need. I'm going to blow this place up."
~
Vincent had ignored Jun and had let all his zombie minions revert into corpses once again. He was now a raw Mythling, and was even more vulnerable than ever before since coming to Mahtog. His flesh was still soft like humans, his veins filled with inferior blood--but blood still--of the body he had taken over. The body he possessed was going to spend the next few hours changing into a Mythling's body, not unlike what newly-turned Mythlings go through after being bitten. The only difference was that the pain was nothing new to Vincent, and it would not incapacitate him at all.
Still, it was best to disappear for a while, lest he be struck down in this vulnerable state....

"Er, don't you think that's a little drastic?" Jin said with his ears folded back. "Besides, this isn't the only apartment in the building in case you've forgotten..."

Kate stared at Jin for a moment. Then she abruptly doubled over in laughter. This laughter continued on for an entire minute, and took another minute to die down in slow, erratic steps. Once she was done laughing (But unable to stop from breaking down into a giggle every few seconds or so), Kate only wiped the tears from her eyes and walked over to gather the things she had piled on the coffee table. Apparently, Kate wasn't worried about the same issues as Jin was.

Kate stopped chuckling immediately, and turned to face Jin again. "I'm sorry," she apologized. "You're helping me, and here I am being an a**. The board... is personal," she replied with a bit lip, but continued to explain to Jin that no one would be harmed from her exploding room. It was actually the room beneath that would explode, and her room would simply collapse into it, destroying everything with carefully placed, inconspicuous explosives. And yes, it was necessary, she also said, but neglected to mention why.
"So, if you're not too mad at me... would you still take me to, um... the hospital we we--" Kate cut herself off. It had not been Jin, but actually Jun, who had been at the hospital. Kate was surprised when she felt a lone tear slide down her cheek.

Jin put a hand to her cheek, hesitant that she'd slap him or something, and wiped away the tear. "Look, i know what you're thinking...Im sorry im not my brother, but i might as well be for who knows how long until Jun and i swap back." he said with drooped ears and tail. "And im sorry for everything i did before, and may do in the future..."

Kate stared back at Jin for an infinitesimally small moment before an absolutely horrible, morbid thought occurred to her mind. The strength of how repulsed she suddenly felt at herself caused Kate to jump backwards and run straight to the bathroom, behind the closed door of which she emptied her lunch into the toilet.
