How'd it go, Silver?
heart I'm OK, but I don't want to have to do that ever again, at least not for a while.
Still kind of stiff around where they needed to operate, but I can walk and sleep normally. I just have to slow things down a bit until my back recovers.
At least the hospital food was OK. Enough variety in the main dish and side dishes and drinks that even a picky eater like me could be happy. I got
two big cookies for dessert Sunday night.
heart I ended up giving one of them to my sister when she and Dad came to visit because this was my second real meal in two days and I didn't want to get sick again like when I tried to drink grape juice on Saturday.
I didn't have a room to myself after they wheeled me out of anesthesia recovery and into the patient wards, but it was a decently large room and my roomie and I were separated by a lot of curtains. I think she was recovering from a liver transplant.
Also, I am pretty much OK with being poked for blood tests or injections, now. I still can't watch the needle go in; otherwise I'm fine. Once the needle or IV line or whatever is in, it's actually kind of interesting to watch.
