Kevin's eyes finished clearing and he looked around, seeming a bit confused.

"I'm glad we're on the same page." He said as he tossed the detonator at Nerdio. "You'll soon see the power of Chaos. I hope you have fun with the authorities!" He leaped on the building roof and quickly ran away.
The police arrived. They saw the detonator next to Nerdio and assumed the worst. The pulled out their guns and yelled "Freeze! Hands on your head! NOW!"

As he ran away, the figure thought to himself. "It's an old trick but it still quite effective."

"What was on him Johnson?" asked the cheif at the station. "He had a strange crystal on him. I'm going to send it to the lab as soon as I can." He replied from his radio.
Johnson turned to see Nerdio in the back of the squad car. Hey! What is this thing!?" He asked bluntly.

A group of people were blocking the road. They were heavily armed with rifles and explosives. They all wore black cloaks.
"What the!? Hey! Are these your friends! Tell them to drop their weapons!" He said when he slammed the brakes.

They shot at the car, filling it with holes. One of them shot the lock off the pasenger side door and broke into the car. Johnson tried to fight back but was knocked unconcious.
They stole the Emerald from the glove box and opened the back door.
"Start running, it's your only hope to escape a corrupt police department."" He said before vanishing into the night with his allies.
