I only train my Empoleon. It sucks.
It's LV 52 and all my rest are below 20, except one.

Hero Maul I only train my Empoleon. It sucks. It's LV 52 and all my rest are below 20, except one. I used to do that. But then I got beaten by the Elite Four unmercifully. Ever since then, I try to keep my party pretty even. Also

Tatsuman Hero Maul I only train my Empoleon. It sucks. It's LV 52 and all my rest are below 20, except one. I used to do that. But then I got beaten by the Elite Four unmercifully. Ever since then, I try to keep my party pretty even. Also I WANT ONE! scream

@Maul: I do precisely the same thing. I used to train them evenly, but then I discovered that having one powerful Pokemon pretty much trashes everyone who tries to vs you. (And at approx. the same level)

BTW, question: back in the older versions, did you mash A when you were trying to catch a Pokemon? Does it help? Do you still do it? Somehow, I find that mashing A and tapping the stylus at the same time helps... I can't catch anything if I don't do it. Another question: Where do I go after I beat the 7th gym leader?

I do that as well, but I usually see a pokemon I have to have, and go on a crusade to find it. Then I lose interest after I find it... sweatdrop I don't know if it helps, but it makes me feel better. No idea, I'm only on my 6th. Gimme a sec and I'll look it up.
